Absolutely loved the resort feel of the Borei Angkor. It was like walking into a little oasis every time.||The rooms were large, spotless and well equipped. The air con worked a treat as well - even at night when I find many hotel air con’s seem to go into economy mode. The attendants serviced the room early most mornings so it was lovely to come back to in the heat of the afternoon. Great spacious bathrooms and lots of drinking water available.||Breakfast buffet was excellent. Lots of foods being freshly made and some Cambodian treats to try. Seriously large selection.||Every single member of staff - could not fault with professionalism and service! Extremely kind and engaging - this is a massive tick for me!||The pool was perfect. It is large, surrounded by greenery, spotlessly clean with a decent number of lounges and chairs. The bar poolside is good salute for a hotel. They even have wine reasonably priced. The $10 ++ burger & beer is definitely worth it.||My son used the gym and found us spacious, clean and well-equipped.||As for location, it was out of the super central part of Siem Reap but a really pleasant river walk of 15 minutes. We’d often catch a grab ($1-2) one way then stroll back in the evening. We walked easily to the museum, into Pub Street and to the main areas no issues. In all honestly, it was a delight to come back to.||Would 100% recommend this hotel as an affordable 5* resort option in Siem Reap.
