Borei Angkor Resort & Spa

We had a lovely stay over New Years at Borei Angkor Resort and Spa. As soon as we stepped off our minivan from the start of our stay to the time we departed at the end of our stay, the staff were very helpful and knowledged about the area and advised us according to what we wanted to explore and the activities we were interested in. We were a group of 7 and attended the hotel's New Years party during our stay. We had a brilliant time that evening, we could see the attention to detail that had been put in for the occasion. Our table was assigned a waiter called Vakan. Throughout the evening, he was always smiling and couldn't do enough. He kept checking on us, topping our drinks, even managing to locate some party accessories for our children. Nothing was too much for him and I know our group had the most enjoyable time due to Vakan's attentiveness. For the rest of our stay, whenever we saw Vakan around, he was as usual always smiling and greeted us by our names, which was a great personal touch. Vakan is a great asset to Borei Angkor with the commitment and dedication he has shown to his role within the resort.

We love staying in this hotel. The service was impeccable, all employees were polite, smiling, ready to do everything for us . Breakfast was excellent, they have different theme in evening for diner . We chose the barbecue , beautiful salads, choice meat or fish and plenty of fruits and dessert fir 25$ including a pint of bear . The restaurant in 4th was exceptional, love the art deco and the waiter so professional. And the bamboo chicken was good. Wish them all the best.

Great experience staying at the hotel Nov 2025 - luxurious without being pretentious. Good location, convenience store next door and Tuk Tuk into town very cheap ($1 US if book via Grab or if negotiation with drivers out front $1-2). Check in and out was very smooth. Breakfast buffet is amazing - great egg station, mix of Asian and western options all perfectly prepared. Pool area is lovely - was never packed out and great place to relax. The rooms were spacious plenty of room for luggage. Although the hotel is not modern in its style it's beautiful and rooms spotless. Has all the extras including toiletries, lots of hanging space and balcony. We tried both Ox Club and all day dining restaurant . The Ox Club was amazing - fine dining, food was beautiful, great friendly service and pleasant aesthetic. We tried the all day restaurant and the pool side food (as the weather was bad) and the food was okay - on the pricey side similar to most hotel restaurants. Note the quoted price on menu doesn't include tax or service charge so it's 17% higher. Drink prices standard for hotel -from $3 a beer. The friendly staff are what make the hotel stand out - the concierge checked in multiple times and arranged a Tuk Tuk tour and even called ahead to book us table at a restaurant in town when we told them where we planned to go. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Borei Angkor is located just 1.2 km from the Siem Reap River. The staff here is exceptionally courteous—they greet you every time you leave the hotel and again when you return from your excursions. Their service truly feels next level. The entire property is spotless, including the room we stayed in. The bedding was very comfortable, and overall the stay was extremely relaxing. Considering it’s a 5-star hotel, I found the breakfast to be just okay, but everyone’s preferences are different. Mudita Spa was outstanding—the service there was amazing. Overall, great staff, great service, and a truly wonderful stay.

Borei Angkor is a fantastic resort. We arrived and immediately were overjoyed by the Christmas decorations. The staff are incredibly welcoming and Seyha, in particular, has been super helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have had with delicious offers of western and Cambodian food. The gym and pool are absolutely wonderful- we spent every day in the water. Best of all, the bed is like sleeping on a cloud. We will definitely be back.

Truly 5 star hotel with awesome staff from top to bottom. Manager Rantana is excellent as well as many otters such as Sam and Macky. My kids loved the pool and swam nearly every day of our stay. New Years Eve party at the hotel was a dream. Complimentary Daily breakfast is an experience that Would cost $40 per person in the USA. Location is close easy access to Pub Street and Angkor Wat!

Such a grand hotel with exceptional staff. Great pool area, extensive breakfast buffet, good restaurants. Rooms are large and the bathroom had a claw foot bath which was a nice surprise. Water in shower tended to run hot then warm then hot, etc. Which wasn't ideal and the bed was a bit too firm. Overall a great stay.

Staying at this resort again after eight years since the last time and it is still the premier resort to experience five star accommodations while still staying in touch with Cambodia. The resort is Cambodian owned. All the workers are Cambodian the building and decor feel like a palace. One of my favorite swimming pools in the world. Every bite at breakfast is gourmet no matter what you choose and the breakfast is included with the stay. Great location not far from pub Street not far from Angkor Wat. Plus, there is a local market right across the street. If you really wanna experience true Cambodian food and shopping (not for the faint of heart.)
