Borgo 20 | Ristorante Gourmet nel Centro di Parma – Accanto al Duomo

Just a stones throw from Parma Cathedral we found this delightful ristorante that focuses on organic DOP and DOC products. We started with an off-menu appetizer of porcini mushrooms (in season right now) on their signature focaccia style bread. Next we had the duck breast, « like » margarita pizza, and shrimp linguine. For desert, we shared the « Fichissimo » and lemon pie. The tastes played amazingly well together. Our waiter was extremely professional and attentive. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Be sure to make reservations!

Lovely welcoming staff, great plate of prosciutto but food that needed cooking overly ‘played with’ - vividly green cannelloni that Mr Kipling would be proud of :)

Very cute place, but the cuisine is hardly memorable with the exception of the risotto which was the clear winner. The wines were hit or miss. I won’t come back.

Exquisite and delicious! Nothing boring on the menu - variety of interesting interpretations of pasta and desserts. Amazing place! Highly recommended and “chapeau!” to the chef.

Left a little disappointed, both mains were cold when they reached our table, the gnocchi were stodgy because it was cold also I don't think the composition of the dish helped, see the pick. The other dish was good except for being cold! The salumi, meats was good. Sadly I wont be coming back again despite the fact I'm living around the corner.

3 starts because the first time I went it was a great experience but the second one was unpleasant due to the service. 1) Probably my favorite bistro in Parma! Exciting combinations of ingredients on pizzas and delicious pasta. The deserts were the cherry on the cake, impressive balance of ingredients!! Try to sit outside even if its a bit cold, you won't regret it! 2) Unfortunately the second time I went, I was very dissatisfied me due to the service. There were three occasions that disappointed us. We explicitly asked for the Lambrusco of Parma and they brought us the Lambrusco of Modena (substantially more expensive). When I asked if it's the Parma one the waiter said yes, but when I double checked the label it was the one from Modena. I told him and he ironically said what can I do. In the end they charged us the Modena one..

Incredible. No notes. Wonderful service, atmosphere, and the food is both beautifully presented and delicious. May need to go back again during my short stay in Parma. A hidden gem, so happy I found it.

This restaurant is an absolute must go - because of the food. Every single dish we had was excellent, especially the tagliata, the horse meat tartare and the gourmet pizza. The place is crowded, most tables are on the street and it's a little chaotic - but all of that doesn't matter given the great food. The service is top notch.

Delicious squid first plate and BBQ pizza. Beautiful music playing, terrific service. My husband and I enjoyed lunch here on a sunny day before heading to our next destination.

Stumbled upon this place while looking for a hotel room, and wow! It was absolutely delicious. We had Parmesan risotto, asparagus pasta with Parma ham, and a bottle of Prosecco for dinner. Then finished off the night with dessert; passion fruit gelato with fresh strawberries and chocolate ganache... The wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and they spoke English when we our Italian was lacking. If you ever in Parma, pay this place a visit.
