We were here for a wedding and had a great experience. It's more a wedding venue than a Hotel, beautifully located and well laid out. Great outdoor spaces and vistas of the area, nice pool, lounging areas and terrace overlooking the hills and stars at night. Really nice, professional and very friendly staff. Rooms were very good, lovely bathrooms, quiet and well laid out, had everything we needed. Had better breakfasts in Italy, but still good. Highly recommended for a typical Tuscana experience.

I stayed here for a wedding on the grounds. It was gorgeous. Absolutely incredible spring scenery. Outstanding sunset views. But my favorite part was the pair of Tawny Owls living somewhere very nearby. One of them was often visible when it perched on a branch throughout the day ~50 feet west of the walkway going past the office and event rooms.

We had our wedding here in May 2025 and we cannot imagine a more picturesque or cozy place to have our celebration than Borgo di Pietrafitta. Ekaterina and Sonia are two of the most wonderful people you'll ever meet. So kind and patient and knowledgeable. All of the staff at the Borgo are kind and helpful. Pietrafitta is a place we cannot wait to visit again and again. The property is gorgeous, tucked in the hills with lush surrounding hills and lots of beautiful trees. There are also so many options for each of the events or "moments" of the wedding day. We had our pick of places where we wanted to have our ceremony, aperitivo, and reception. Also, having an on-site rain plan that did not involve dishing out several thousand euro for a tent was important to us. We had fewer than 50 guests so we could fit in the on-site church or in the wine cellar for dinner if we had wet weather. All our guests loved staying on property from the pool to the ping-pong table to the ample space around the property for wandering and walks. The apartments are cozy and comfortable and the rooms in the main villa feel like elite level hotel rooms. The breakfast spread includes a wide variety of options, including options for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free. Other things we love about Pietrafitta: the on-site wine and olive oil tasting and the close proximity to the village of Castellina in Chianti. It's definitely worth stopping by for a wander. We loved the cats wandering the property and the wildlife like deer, owls, and cuckoo birds we could hear. The general calming ambiance of the nature around the property made for such a lovely stay. We already want to visit again soon!

Beautiful and comfortable rooms, amazing views and an incredible staff. Whole family came for a wedding and it was the first experience of a lifetime. The outdoor dining area is like something from a storybook. Make sure to try the wine produced on site; it's excellent and so is the olive oil

A wonderful place to stay, and a great area to explore! The pool is great with plenty of beds to use, included breakfast is so nice, served in the original cellar. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. I also strongly recommend the wine tasting with the on site wine maker. I will be coming back

The location is AMAZING!!!! The views from the property over Tuscany wineyards are just spectacular. Sonja was extremely friendly and not only introduced to us all details of the property as well as informed a bit about its history. The whole property has quite large space and a sufficient private parking. The room was arranged in bygone years with great taste and the bathroom was spotless. The breakfast was tasty, in the cellar among barrels what was of spectacular interest. We loved siting in the armchairs sipping wine and overlooking Tuscany landscape. In the summer time 2 nice located swimming pools can be used, also a large grill place. There was really plenty of meadows among the appartamments. Everything was in very good condition, everywhere very clean. For us - it was the BEST accommodation in agrotouristic style in Tuscany.

Don’t forget anything in your room. You’ll never get it back. This venue does not have AC so we had to leave windows open most days for airflow. We had a bad storm while we were there and anything close to the window was blown around. I had my gold necklace on a chest in front of the window and didn’t notice it had fallen off until I realized I didn’t have it after I checked out. I called only 2-3 hours after checking out to notify staff. I took pictures of the apartment before I left to capture my trip. When I zoomed in the picture of the bedroom I could clearly see my gold necklace on the floor at the bottom of the chest. I called the hotel and informed them of this. They asked me to email them the pictures. They repeatedly said cleaning staff found nothing. When I told them I had photographic evidence it was left in the room they said they “do not accept false allegations.” I reached out several times to follow up and they ignored my emails. Overall staff was pretty dismissive throughout the stay and other guests had similar experiences. Some concierge were friendly and helpful though. Pros: Beautiful location Scenic views Great food Cute apartments Nice pool area Cons: Poor and inconsistent WiFi connection Poor cellular connection Lost power during storm No WiFi connection for one full day from storm Dismissive staff No AC
