We stayed at this property for three nights to enjoying some skiing in Limone. It was a last minute booking and with a 3 hour drive we arrived outside their reception time and expected to pay a €30 surcharge as had been advised by e-mail.||||Upon arrival at the hotel at 2230 we were told that a fee of €50 would be charged due to our arrival after 2200. This could only be paid in cash, without invoice. We were also advised that we would be charged for our second child and again this must be paid with cash. This despite our booking being for 2 adults and 2 children.||||We contacted Booking.com and they confirmed that no payment should be made for an extra child and that all surcharges must be invoiced, as is law in Italy to avoid fraud.||||Accommodation at the property was almost as new. Quiet, clean and comfortable with full kitchen facilities provided. The only drawbacks were that only two hotplates could be used without tripping the fuse to the apartment and, as we found on the morning we departed, the dishwasher could not be used at all. Additionally, the two smoke detectors in the apartment still had their dust covers in place rendering them useless.||||On the day of departure we attempted to use the dishwasher again to wash the few items we had used that morning but again, the power to the apartment tripped so we gave up. We collected all rubbish into a single plastic bag and as there was no obvious disposal area, we left this by the door.||||Later on the day of check-out I was contacted by the property to tell me that they would be charging €100 to my credit card for the late check-in and a €50 cleaning fee. I objected to this for the above reasons and a €80 charge was made which I will be contesting.||||This is a great property which is severely let down for administrative reasons. There are no clear written guidelines either in the booking or in the apartment and it would appear that staff are free to request cash payments for undocumented items. ||||We regularly stay in Limone and would love to stay in this property again but after this experience we will have to stay elsewhere.

Apartment looked nice but... I didn’t enjoy my stay here, we didn’t have hairdryer in the apartment and should ask for it at reception. For 5 people we had one small shampoo and one small used cream. Also don't recommend their spa, was stinky (as they said it's because of small space) and dirty. They gave 3 pairs of slippers for 5 people and didn't prepare for as to come. Towels were yellow stained. For 3 nights for 5 people we had one toilet paper. (she told we should buy if we need more) They didn't give tablets for dishwasher and even detergent and sponge to wash the dish. They checked the room before we left and told us to trash the rubish across the road. My advice is to not ruin your holiday with them.

Do not stay at this hotel! The stay was very nice, but after we left they called us and told us they were going to charge us $50 euros extra for leaving the room dirty. We cleaned the room very well before we left, and everything was in perfect condition. The only thing we could have done differently would be to wash the sheets and towels and make the bed ourselves before leaving. Ridiculous! These people are thieves! I've never been treated so poorly by any hotel staff. Do not give your money to these thieves! You will be stolen from!!!

Great location, poorly equipped apartment, lousy to non existant Wi-Fi, which is fine, if your not told beforehand that it's excellent. A disappointment.

Nice part of Limone

Il borgo è molto carino, l'alloggio esteticamente anche, ma presenta alcuni problemi. Abbiamo preso un alloggio per 5, in realtà è per 3 max 4 persone.|Ci avevano assicurato 2 camere matrimoniali, ma, in realtà in una c'era il letto a 1 piazza 1/2 scarsa, quindi impossibile dormirci in due. Il divano letto aveva un materassino alto 2 cm, quindi era come dormire sulle doghe. Poca illuminazione interna, tanto da dover usare, a volte, la luce del telefonino per cercare le cose nell'armadio. Anche nell'angolo cottura solo 1 pentola e 2 padella...un pò poco per 5 persone!!! |Peccato perché il posto è bello e abbastanza vicino al centro, basterebbe offrire al cliente ciò che si promette e per cui paga (e neanche poco!!!)
