Borgo La Chiaracia Resort & SPA

This beautiful Tuscany resort is up on the hill in the middle of Tuscany. The resort is modern beautiful and the amenities are excellent. It’s a great place to relax for a few days. The spa has many treatments and they’re all excellent. The staff is helpful. Only negatives are that the dinner at the dining room was OK at best and that the GPS sends you to a dead end in the middle of nowhere that can be somewhat challenging to exit.

Great quiet resort. Nice spa, amazing restaurant. Calm and relaxing. Buy their olive oil , it’s amazing!!! They have different kinds we got the strong one.

It was a heavenly but extremely short stay for us. The place is majestically beautiful, luxurious and serene. Definitely worth a 100 visits.

This is a wonderful place! Welcoming and peaceful! Our room was spacious, bright and cheery. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Big windows that we could open for fresh air. Beautiful grounds with welcoming outdoor spaces for walks and dining. Olives and grapes grown on site. Outstanding red wine of their own. Great breakfast buffet and cooked to order entrees. 2 dining rooms for dinner. Spa has 2 kinds of sauna, indoor and outdoor pool plus many spa services can be ordered. Entire facility is maintained in like-new condition and spotless. Service friendly and professional. Located perfectly for day trips throughout Tuscany. We'd go back for sure!

This hotel is as close to perfection as it can get. Set in a beautiful surrounding in between Rome and Florence, and it is very convenient for touring both Umbria and Tuscany. However, I recommend spending time in the hotel as well. The hotel staff were brilliant. They were extremely friendly and hospitable. They would go all out to make the stay memorable. I would highly recommend having dinner at both their restaurants. They leave no stone unturned in the quality of wood and service. Their wine list is extensive and very reasonable. My wife went to the spa and she was very impressed by the quality of service. The prices were very reasonable. We stayed in a suite which was well appointed and spacious. The views were spectacular. Great value for money. Moreover the housekeeping staff were very efficient. Our room would be ready while we were out for breakfast. My big thanks to the staff and management for making this stay very special!

Amazing place! Hotel impressive but tye staff make it. Fabulous spa , swimming pools and swimming the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. What really surprised is the food which was sublime. There’s a young waiter, Jacamo, who is just fabulous. Knowledgeable, yet so young, he has a great way with him and nothing is too much trouble. Probably one of the best experiences we have ever had (and we have had a few!). The kitchen is incredible and we ate there every evening. They will even make foods off the menu (ask for the Carbonara!). Furthermore the breakfast is incredible, one of the finest, with hot food being made to order. |We will certainly return. This place is a real gem.

Gorgeous property. Outstanding staff and dining facilities. Food offerings were varied and fresh; all sourced locally. Pools were very relaxing and provided a nice area to take a nap and cool off. Spa was lovely and with many areas to enjoy and relax. Fitness center was top quality. We rented a car and drove to Pienza and Montepulciano for the day and our location made this very convenient. Absolutely a fabulous stay and great value!

Great! Especially SPA, Valeria and her team are real professionals, a great pleasure… the food in the restaurant and service were fantastic, the room most clean, valet and reception fine! The surroundings of Orvieto and landscape are stunning… really recommendable for a quiet welness stay …
