Borgo La Chiaracia Resort & SPA

We stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel is lovely- very serene and peaceful. The rooms have a nice view, are modern, and the hotel grounds are very relaxing. The spa was very impressive and the service was good. However, I am lowering the rating due to the disappointing quality of the food. There was a set menu each night with not a lot of variety but also the quality just wasn’t very nice at all for Umbria (I am from Rome originally). The produce doesn’t taste very fresh and the chef made questionable decisions when it came to certain dishes..it’s a real shame because the rest of the hotel is lovely but the restaurant is definitely not up to standard for a 5 star hotel…

One of the most memorable places in Italy. Absolutely loved the atmosphere. Go for a walk in the morning! Really memorable place! I stayed and dined here in May, 2024. The weather was perfect!

This beautiful Tuscany resort is up on the hill in the middle of Tuscany. The resort is modern beautiful and the amenities are excellent. It’s a great place to relax for a few days. The spa has many treatments and they’re all excellent. The staff is helpful. Only negatives are that the dinner at the dining room was OK at best and that the GPS sends you to a dead end in the middle of nowhere that can be somewhat challenging to exit.

Perfect in every way!! Found this on internet and couldn’t have been better. Clean and upscale. Great location to explore countryside. Staff, facilities and food were outstanding.

Great quiet resort. Nice spa, amazing restaurant. Calm and relaxing. Buy their olive oil , it’s amazing!!! They have different kinds we got the strong one.

It was a heavenly but extremely short stay for us. The place is majestically beautiful, luxurious and serene. Definitely worth a 100 visits.

This is a wonderful place! Welcoming and peaceful! Our room was spacious, bright and cheery. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Big windows that we could open for fresh air. Beautiful grounds with welcoming outdoor spaces for walks and dining. Olives and grapes grown on site. Outstanding red wine of their own. Great breakfast buffet and cooked to order entrees. 2 dining rooms for dinner. Spa has 2 kinds of sauna, indoor and outdoor pool plus many spa services can be ordered. Entire facility is maintained in like-new condition and spotless. Service friendly and professional. Located perfectly for day trips throughout Tuscany. We'd go back for sure!

This hotel is as close to perfection as it can get. Set in a beautiful surrounding in between Rome and Florence, and it is very convenient for touring both Umbria and Tuscany. However, I recommend spending time in the hotel as well. The hotel staff were brilliant. They were extremely friendly and hospitable. They would go all out to make the stay memorable. I would highly recommend having dinner at both their restaurants. They leave no stone unturned in the quality of wood and service. Their wine list is extensive and very reasonable. My wife went to the spa and she was very impressed by the quality of service. The prices were very reasonable. We stayed in a suite which was well appointed and spacious. The views were spectacular. Great value for money. Moreover the housekeeping staff were very efficient. Our room would be ready while we were out for breakfast. My big thanks to the staff and management for making this stay very special!
