Borgobrufa Spa Resort

I had the pleasure of staying at the Brufa Hotel and Spa and I can only call it a real corner of paradise. Immersed in the Umbrian hills, the panorama enjoyed from the structure is simply breathtaking: green hills, spectacular sunsets and a regenerating peace. The spa is the flagship of the hotel: large, modern and attention to the smallest details. Between heated pools, saunas, Turkish bath and personalised treatments, every moment was an invitation to total relaxation. The staff is extremely professional and always available, ready to satisfy every need with a smile. The room was spacious, spotless and tastefully furnished, with a lovely view of the valley. The restaurant also deserves a special mention: refined dishes, local ingredients and a wine list that best enhances Umbrian excellence. I highly recommend the Brufa Hotel to those looking for an experience of luxury, relaxation and authenticity in the heart of Italy. I'll definitely be back!

Incredible experience! We treated ourselves to an overnight spa package with massage & evening meal included, and every part was wonderful. Our room felt brand new & had a gorgeous panoramic view, the massage was incredibly relaxing, the spa was luxurious & very clean, and then the meal & cocktails … just wow!! We’ll be back 😃

We came expecting a beautifully restored Italian villa. Everything was plastic and laminate. This hotel seems like it was designed by robots and has no human touch. The pool had black mould around it. The saunas had cheap led lights. The rooms had no finesse or originality. We were far from the main front desk and felt like we had to walk very far to get to any of the facilities- this hotel is for people that have no taste

I want to say that this was the best experience I could have asked for. The service was amazing. I proposed marriage and received the best treatment and service I have ever had in my life. Everything was perfect.

Borgobrufa Spa Resort is an amazing experience and my favorite getaway so far! This quaint hotel is in the middle of Umbria in the country tucked away in a secluded place with beauty, peace, and tranquility. The views are spectacular, the service from the staff completely exceeded my expectations! Everyone was so friendly and willing to help. One of the restaurant managers, Mimmo, went out of his way during a busy time to host a private wine tasting for my wife and I. He made our stay very special. They feed you an all inclusive breakfast with a huge variety as a pert of your stay.||Also, the spa was very refreshing and romantic, you have use of the facilities as a part of your stay.||I would highly recommend this little gem as a top 5 get away!

Amazing resort! Excellent overall experience - attentative staff, lovely rooms, beautiful pool and spa areas and very clean and well kept! If I could change 2 minor things - there was no outside / al fresco dining. We love having dinner on a terrace in the summer but bith restaurants were inside only. Wifi could be stronger but it did not impact the stay at all!

I had the pleasure of staying at Borgobrufa recently. |What makes this property a stand out amongst others is it is modern *adult only* luxury resort with a Michelin restaurant, located 20 minutes between the ancient towns of Perugia and Assisi. |This resort features a fantastic spa area with multiple sauna and steam rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, and unique salt cave. We were warmly greeted each day by the phenomenal spa and restaurant staff which make the guests feel special. ||As a travel advisor, I am frequently asked to plan trips to the more popular destinations in Italy such as Venice, Florence and Rome. While these cities are world re-known and a must on most bucket lists, it is refreshing to visit some of the lesser visited parts of Italy with fewer crowds and a more authentic experience.

Fantastic rooms and the restaurant offered the best meals we have had in years. We would highly recommend the location to anyone who wants a top notch, relaxing vacation. The hotel only minor, very minor, observation is that the gym facility was small and offered little equipment. Again, a very minor complaint.

Good food, great views, nice looking rooms but the beds are a bit hard. They allow dogs to be left alone in the room which can be annoying. They had a maintenance guy enter our room without knocking, we had the do not disturb on, and we were not clothed. It took a bit to get him to leave. The restaurant and spa staff were great!
