Ideal for dining outside in the spring, summer and early fall, Boris Bistro is a bit of an oasis on a busy city street with a terrace full of trees, plants and greenery and large patio umbrellas to protect you from the elements. You can dine inside or outside on the two-tier patio. The service at Boris Bistro was excellent. I would recommend making reservations as this place filled up pretty quickly.
Unfortunately, I was feeling under the weather last May but the staff was very helpful in making me feel comfortable. More food for my hubby! I ordered the Mushroom Risotto and it was so delicious. This restaurant is almost entirely gluten free and is considered a farm to table provider. Working with local producers to create a menu that is seasonal, varied and interesting. Their Cheese selection was wonderful and all from Quebec regions. Lastly, I would recommend trying the Patatas bravas with aïoli and the salmon or steak tartar. Divine!
On McGill Street, very close to Hotel St. Paul, it is conveniently located in Old Montreal and a few blocks from Victoria Square metro station.
