Lovely location with caring and attentive sommeliers which made our experience very pleasant. We had some lovely Hungarian wines (better than other wine bars) with a great cold cuts and cheese charcuterie board. Would highly recommend, but make sure to book as it can get busy!

Did the wine tasting here sally is amazing and so knowledgable and the guys behind the bar are so friendly and lovely. I love a dessert wine and they kindly let me sample the most sweetest wine I’ve tasted. Would return here and highly recommend the wine tasting.. We chose the six-wine tasting along with a charcuterie board, and everything was exceptional, each wine was carefully selected and beautifully explained, and the board was perfectly prepared with high-quality cheeses and cured meats. But what truly made this experience unforgettable was the service. I’ve been living in Budapest for over two years, and I can confidently say this was the best customer service I’ve ever had here. The staff were incredibly attentive, genuinely kind, and deeply passionate about what they do. They took the time to explain each wine with patience, helped us understand the differences, and guided us based on our personal taste. You could feel that they cared, not just about serving, but about creating a memorable experience. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, making it an ideal spot for a date, a night out with friends, or simply for anyone who loves wine and wants to learn more. Between the outstanding wines, the welcoming vibe, and the remarkable service, this place has earned a top spot on the list of must-visit locations in Budapest. Without a doubt, you need to go. 🍷

Cozy place where you can explore a variety of wines and also have the whole wine tasting experience. The vibe itself is already amazing over there, charcuterie board was tasty and carefully well made.. but what really stands out the most in this place was the service. The staff is SO receptive and friendly! Have been living in Budapest for a few years and this was by far my best experience with customer service. I will certainly be back in this place!

If you are interested in Hungarian wine, this is the place to go for a tasting. The host Smike has an incredible knowledge about local wines and history. He presented every wine (3 white, 3 red, 1 dessert wine) with a lot of passion and insight. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We booked a spontaneous wine tasting at Bortodoor and wow, what a ride! Suze welcomed us with the best energy from the first second, and we instantly clicked. She’s an amazing storyteller who mixes wine facts, local stories, and her own experiences in the most entertaining way. We had several great wines, a tasty cheese board with veggie dips and sausages, and just the coziest vibe. The cheeses teamed up excellent with the wines and Suze helped pairing them with us to get the best experience. The whole team was super friendly, chatting with locals and making everyone feel at home. It felt like we got a good insight into an authentic Budapest neighbourhood. We were there a little off season (mid-september) so it wasn't too busy. Great spot for a less touristy wine tasting for sure where creating a good experience seems to be their main focus. We highly recommend booking a tasting with Suze. She's full speed on stories, laughs, and good wine. We left both tipsy and enlightened about Hungarian wines. 10/10 would come back!!! Actually, we did talk about moving to Budapest after this visit, so maybe be a little careful about going if you're not ready to fall madly in love with this place.

One of the best wine tastings we have ever had! The owner is amazing and so passionate about the wine! We will be back over and over again! They give you a glass of free Hungarian prosecco!
