Walking into the space at 3pm, the sunlight hits just right and the predominantly warm palette from the 40 or so paintings floods retinas with heat, triggering joy on a cool, late-fall day. I turn to one of my students, wearing a pair of 3M earmuffs, and she says, “This is my dream. I am so happy right now.
