Borve Camping & Caravan Site

Booked via email easily. Arrived to find our name on the board and a pitch number assigned. All pitches have a stunning view so you can’t go wrong. Donald is very welcoming and helpful. Facilities were clean and up to date, there’s even a good hair dryer in the women’s. We saw dolphins with breakfast, beautiful location, would stay again. Thanks so much 😊

5 Stars! Donald was super friendly and helpful. The pitches were well maintained and nicely spaced. Probably the best campsite for views on the island, nicely sheltered from the wind too. Facilities include showers, no extra purchase necessary, which are spacious and hot. Also a kitchen area, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle, air fryer

Wonderful site right on the bay. It has all the amenities you need including a well equipped campers kitchen, even had an air fryer! ||Donald is super helpful and welcoming, he helped us out with an extension cable and moved us to the bank side to shelter from the winds.||We used the washing machine and dryer, £4 in the washer then £1 for 30 mins in the dryer. Toilets and showers are spotless.||Helpful notice board as well||Really enjoyed our stay here

Wonderful location, benefiting by chance being close to the ferry. Facilities spotless. Donald was a joy to talk to and couldn't do enough to help. If no help needed was always ready with chat and advice. Highly recommended.

Lovely site, really clean and well organised with reserved pitches and amazing views. Hairdryer in the bathroom free to use, washing machine and dryer available for a small price. Donald was super friendly and even helped us with an issue we had with our rented camper van!! Only planned to stay one night but ended up extending for another

Lovely site! Very clean facilities. Donald was lovely when checking us in. And with any questions we had. There was also a lovely lady (forgot to get her name!) Who was cleaning the facilities and even took the time to play football with our 2yo son. Beautiful lady! He enjoyed his ice-cream! Thankyou for a lovely stay! We will be back x

Thanks Donald, maybe see you again one day, Wild and wonderful, rugged landscape with rolling, breaking waves. Small site well laid out clean & comfortable. Facilities are adequate for a small niche site, with an easy access bathroom for those in need. Dogs are welcome and there is a rough bit of ground ideal for a pee and a poo. I was impressed that Donald, although not resident on the site, was always at hand when folk were arriving and in the evening The Barra hotel is nearby serving great food, and Neil in the bar has great craic with a little poetry thrown in along the way. Nina front of house, made me feel very welcome and went out of her way to accommodate me and Minstrel my canine companion.

Great site with sea views (couldn't get any closer to the sea). Has very clean facilities a kitchen area for everyone to use. Very close to Castlebay ferry port. Donald the owner was very friendly and helpful😁 Would definitely recommend this site.
