Borzoi Bookshop

Came here for a book signing and it is delightful! Lovely bookshop with a cute cramped feel. (Might have been the massive dog I had with me…) Staff were lovely and it was easy to find.

Small but good variety. Owner is very friendly too.

I had a very specific request for a book mentioned in the local church and the lovely lady said they didn’t have any in stock, but she’d call the local author to pop one over for me, signed. I was very impressed and love the book.

Lovely quaint book shop with a wide variety of books, cards and wrapping. They had a lovely children’s section with bean bags to sit on, which was lovely and inviting for our child. Staff were pleasant and the shop was fairly busy with customers. They even had signed copies of books on sale. Would definitely recommend.

Had some free time while on a tour and found this bookshop purely by chance. As it is kind of tucked away, I almost passed it by. It's a cozy, well-stocked bookshop helmed by friendly and helpful people. I would definitely recommend a visit if you, like me, have made books a priority in your life.

Really pretty book shop, made even better by the enthusiastic, helpful, and knowledgeable lady who was in the shop when we visited a few weeks ago. I asked for a recommendation for a book based on others I enjoyed, and not only did she suggest a fantastic book ('I Who Have Never Known Men' which I finished in a day as I couldn't put it down!); she also printed out a list of other books that I might like, which I am going to work through! Thank you very much for your time and recommendations, it was greatly appreciated!

This bookstore is a real cutie on the Main Street in Stowe. I was in need of a book for our five day walking trip and was able to find a winner here. Despite being tucked into a small space, they had a wide variety of hard packs, paperbacks, kids books and more to offer. The shopkeeper was both friendly and helpful. I should add that it's also conveniently located a few doors down from the tasty Cotswold Creamery cheese shop (which I also highly recommend). If you're in need of a read or for some literary perusing, this spot is for you!

Must stop here if you're in the area. The books are well displayed with wonderful reviews to help you make a selection. However, for me it was the customer service! We were looking for where to travel to next and the two kind ladies working took the time to look up and write down directions since my phone has spotty service.
