We were genuinely excited to visit this estate, but unfortunately, our experience left us feeling quite disappointed. From the moment we arrived, it was difficult to figure out where the festival was taking place. The layout was confusing, and everything seemed so spread out that it made navigating the space feel more like a chore than a celebration. It would have made a big difference if there had been golf carts or a shuttle service to help guests move between areas more comfortably.
We were especially looking forward to tasting the wines, but when we asked about the options, the server informed us that they were out of everything except samosas and spring rolls. That was incredibly disheartening, especially considering how much we had anticipated this part of the visit.
In the end, we decided to leave and visit another estate instead. While the grounds were undeniably beautiful, the overall atmosphere felt a bit disjointed. Aside from one of the vineyard workers and the gate guard, who were both warm and welcoming, the rest of the staff came across as somewhat distant. The experience lacked the hospitality and cohesion we had hoped for.
