"Surf at Boston Bay Beach Thisstunning white-sand stretch, just a five-minute drive east of Port Antonio, isthe only beach in Jamaica with waves high enough to surf. Boston Bay is also one of the few remaining public strands on the island. It continues to attract more locals than tourists and as such isnearly vendor-free. Youcan watch kids splashing about on their boards,or you canrent your ownfor a Surfing 101 lesson. Be forewarned: As at many beaches, sometimesthe waves are flat, but you can console yourself with a short stroll down the beach tothe famous Boston Bay jerk chicken stands."

This is a wonderful beach about 15km east of Port Antonio that can be enjoyed by sunbathers, swimmers and surfers alike. The entrance fee to park my car was a reasonable 500 JMD. You can also rent lounge chairs for a reasonable charge. The beach has bathroom, change room and shower facilities that can be used free of charge. There are ample places to purchase food particularly world famous Boston Bay Jerk within short walking distance. The beach area was clean and the water warm and pristine. The vibe at this beach was laid back and pleasant. This is another wonderful beach to enjoy in the beautiful Parish of Portland.

This place can either be really calm waters or really rough big waves depends on the day. Very aggressive locals trying to push surfing lessons on you. But other than that it's a good beach. And they will charge 300 Jamaican dollars to get in....

I just simply can’t believe that this beach is even more beautiful than the pictures and videos I’ve seen! We visited on a Thursday so there weren’t many people there.. we paid an entry fee of $500JMD per person which was reasonable in my opinion as we had access to showers and restrooms. The grounds were clean and we got secured parking inside only steps from the beach so that made it very convenient. Definitely recommend

Boston was as beautiful as I had remembered it to be years ago. The beach was very clean & so you’re able to see to the very bottom of the water. We were lucky to see a school of fish swimming by our feet. We unfortunately lost our keys but the staff & divers there were very helpful and tried their best to retrieve it. I love Boston!!

Perfect little beach in a secluded bay. There's plenty to do and see around but the beach is what it should be all about if you're visiting here. J$200/US$2 entrance fee. Best place for surfing in Portland with ample boards lying around (obviously not the best) quoted at a J$3000 hourly rate, which is a bit expensive (I'd say it would be a fair price for two hours) but negotiable if you rent it longer. Whatever you get, don't let the price keep you away from the surf! 🤙

This beach was so beautiful!! Plus the food was probably one of the best spots from our trip back in 2019. The steam fish is a must have. Beautiful spot out in the cut. Turned out to be such a beautiful day.

Beautiful secluded beach. Glad to see such incredibly beautiful beach looks still untouched. Hope people who come here to enjoy respect the beauty on not leave trash here. It's heartbreaking to see some people have no respect to such beautiful places. So, much plastic trash around edges. Hope some local organization charges a small fee and maintained this place clean.

A lot of garbage and brown kelp on the beach made it less pleasant for swimming and sunbathing. However it does have decent (but small) waves if you want to learn to surf (surf school is located right on the beach). Entry fee is $300JMD per person and they have bathrooms and a parking lot
