A huge burger and drinks menu. It was a cozy little burger spot with plenty of tables. When we reached for dinner, the place was almost full but we managed to get a table for us quickly. The service was fast, we immediately got a server on our table. They had a separate kids menu as well and they provided crayons and coloring page to keep the kids busy. They had an option to replace any burger with Veggie or Turkey patty. So, I would recommend it as vegetarian friendly place. Each burger comes with side of Chips and Coleslaw/Beans. The burgers were amazing. Even my kid loved his portion. Overall it was a great experience being here.

Got delivery to the hotel. I ordered the American burger and just regular mac n cheese. I love macaroni. There have only been two other times in my life I did not want to finish my macaroni. It was like 3 cups of cheese sauce with maybe a cup of noodles, so I'm just swallowing liquid cheese. There was also a film on the top when I put my fork in (which they did not provide, that's whatever, sucks that I had to go to my car to get a fork bc I'm at a hotel but not their fault). Partner said the burger was mid, not much flavor, and chips were like left in the fryer too long.

Boston Burger Company in Salem was one of the most fun food stops we made! The energy inside is laid-back but lively, and the menu is full of bold, creative choices that are just as tasty as they are over-the-top. We tried a few burgers—each one stacked high and packed with flavor. The sweet potato fries were crispy, the homemade chips were a great touch, and everything came out hot and fresh. No complaints from anyone at our table! My son ordered the Red, White & Boom Freak Frappe, and although they were out of the cotton candy that usually tops it, they gave him a big slice of cake instead—which he was more than happy about! It was a sugar lover’s dream and definitely became one of his favorite moments from our trip. Great food, friendly staff, and a fun, family-friendly spot. Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the area and ready to treat yourself!

Honestly my main issue is cleanliness - just please clean the utensils…and everything else! Came here this past Saturday (2/21) to bring my Son out to celebrate his birthday early. He is a burger fanatic and this location was recommended by good friends. The waitress was friendly and attentive without hovering or forgetting about us - she checked in regularly. Burgers were good, clam chowder was hot and fresh and my Son’s frappe looked epic (he said it tasted that way). Honey bbq wings could’ve been a little warmer with a little less sauce but small non issue. Main problem was when I asked for new knife for my daughter, a new one brought but just as dirty as the first - with observable grease and meat still on it. Second time asking for a new knife was the same - and I was surprised the waitress didn’t catch it because it was brought on a plate, not wrapped in a napkin so you could easily see it was dirty. Third time my daughter got a new set wrapped in a napkin and when she unwrapped it, crumbs immediately fell out. The water also had floaty things in it. Not sure what was happening with the dishes/washer but I just kept thinking my friend said this location was easier to get a table and I felt like I understood why. Hopefully this was a fluke but I doubt I’d go back to this location.

We had lunch here on a weekday right as they opened for the day. The restaurant was pretty empty but filled up more as we were there. I loved the atmosphere- very fun with vivid colors and lots to look at while waiting for the food. Our waitress Sophia was great. She answered our questions, checked in with us, and was very pleasant. The food was delicious! I wish I had saved room for a milkshake - another table ordered one and it looked so good! They really seemed to enjoy it. We ordered the bacon cheese fries for an appetizer and, although it meant not having room for the milkshake, they were so worth it. We both chose the Killer Bee burger and were pleased with how it came out - cooked with no pink but still juicy. It was pretty sizeable and soooo good! Overall, we had a really good experience, great food, and I would highly recommend stopping here.

We were in the Salem area for a wedding and got dinner here our first night. Food was really good and came out quickly. I definitely recommend the egg rolls. The milk shakes were amazing!

MASSIVE food portions, amazing burgers and shakes. 420 deal blew us away. we had the 420 burger and the smooth operator shake. seriously insane, a heart attack waiting to happen but one of a kind experience. atmosphere and service were excellent too. Sophia was our waitress and she was so kind. THANK YOU!!!

They have a nice variety of burgers and shakes. The flavors are amazing. However, the service lacked. Our burgers were not cooked to order. When the incorrect burger was brought out, the server took the burger and the fries and left us with the shake. Unfortunately, one person had nothing but a shake and had to watch the rest of us eat. Needless to say, we didn't want to eat he shake first. The fries were cold and the server didn't offer any discount. The server also never let us see the bill, just told us the total and never offered a receipt.

Went here for drinks and a bite to eat and our server was incredible. Not only was she helpful and provided great service, she was social and made us feel right at home. Great job Chloe! If you come in and see her, tip her extra, she was the best! We will be back :)

stopped by here while on our day trip to Salem. the shop was cool and had a fun vibe. service was quick! the menu was overwhelmingly large, it took forever for me and my friends to decide what to get. Garlic Parm Fries - 8.7/10 these were good and great to share between 4 people! Roots burger with a Fried Egg - 7/10 too messy, the egg couldve been more fried but good nonetheless. the patty was a bit too cooked for me even though I said medium.

I would not recommend this place. We ordered a burger and their very sad version of an espresso martini. First of all, the service was very slow. I completely understand busy season but the service was ridiculously slow. The burger, we asked for medium and it came out dry as jerky. The chips that we got with it were stale. The espresso martini was horrible but I mean what can you expect from an espresso martini from a burger place. Grab a beer.

Came in on a Saturday around 3:15 and were told there was no wait, so we sat at the bar. Big mistake. Apparently, the servers are also the bartenders, and it was pure chaos behind the bar -- people making drinks, running food, clearing dirty dishes -- all in one cramped space. It was stressful just watching it. Most of the staff looked frustrated/annoyed, and I don't blame them. Maybe hire a couple of actual bartenders? Our waitress, Shirley, was super sweet and doing her best, but the setup just didn't work. We ended up sitting there for about two hours and it felt like nobody really had time to focus on the bar guests. The food didn't help. My burger, the burger bomb was okay but missing the peppers -- which are literally the first ingredient listed . The real disaster was the $19 mac & cheese with pulled pork for my daughter. It was disgusting -- soupy, watery, and completely inedible. Looked nothing like the picture on their website, more like goulash than mac & cheese. They did take it off the bill, which honestly tells me they knew it wasn't right. We actually left another spot to come here, and I wish we hadn't. Between the chaotic vibe and disappointing food, this Boston Burger Bar location just isn't it.

We were hungry while walking around Salem. We wanted to walk in somewhere a little more casual. We ended go at Boston Burger Company. We split the Mac Attack burger. It was simply DIVINE! The burger was a little overcooked, but it wasn't dry and the Mac and cheese on it helped. The chips were nice and crispy too. The cole slaw was sweet - not my jam. The baked beans were really good! Dip your chips in them. Service was good, even though they were very busy.

Everyone was saying this was a tourist trap and it really was. The workers were rude and looked like they hated their jobs. We waited about 30 minutes to be sat down a table and another 45 minutes to actually get our foods after ordering.. had I known they needed to grow the cow first and all of our ingredients for our meal I wouldn't have eaten here. We ended up getting our food to go because it took so long that we needed to get going. Worst part is that the fries that came with our meal were cooked 45 minutes before the burger so they were stale and cold. Overall terrible experience and would never fall for this trap again. The service was pretty bad then we asked for our food to go and it got even worse.

We were a little apprehensive to eat in Salem because we were here during their most busy time of year and thought it would be pretty tough. Boston Burger hostess was on top of it and made sure to think of various options to keep things flowing. We were seated inside within 10 minutes. Then we were greeted by our server and she got drinks going very quickly. We all got water and I had a specialty Rose' Halloween drink, which was delicious but a bit on the sweet side. I ordered the Pilgrim Hamburger and absolutely fell in love. If I lived here, I would be a regular. Everyone in our group really enjoyed the food and service there. It's a nice casual place to eat at and prices are reasonable

We had high expectations for this place based on a recommendation by a friend. When we arrived we decide to eat outside because it was a beautiful day. Probably a mistake. The wait staff was not very attentive and kept squeezing by the table to do other tasks when they could have gone around. The patio was very tight and every time they came by we would have to move everything. We ordered drinks and burgers which were mediocre at best. I ordered a combination that sounded interesting but did not work at all. The flavors were all competing with each other. The apples were overly sweet and tasted like apple pie filling on top of the burger. This over shadowed the maple mayo that was the star of the dish. I have had apple in many savory dishes but never has it been like dessert and that sweet. It was edible but not great. The cocktails were basic and ok but not very strong. Actually there was no flavor of alcohol in the drinks at all. Overall, I was not impressed and will not be going there again. It was basic & expensive for food that was like ay other chain restaurant. I have had a better burger at Red Robin. Plus the staff was not very attentive or nice. Therefore this place is a pass for me.

I love my burgers ..it's a great place to hang with friends if you'd like , lively place but then again I went in September ... prime time for Halloween tourists.. it was a little expensive .. and it was a burger lol. Not a BURGER

I wouldn't recommend. The service was terrible, was about 10 minutes before someone took our drink order and once she did she immediately walked back to the bar area and took another 5-10 minutes to bring us a water and Diet Pepsi. Upon receiving the drinks we placed our order. I looked into my water and found mold. I then waited 15 minutes for our waitress and finally waved down another. I told her about the mold and asked if there was anything bottled. She told me no. I then watched another waitress place two bottles of root beer infront of another table.... I asked her if we could get those and she said "I guess" and walked away. We finally received drinks and our appetizer. The Mac and cheese balls were cold. Our food arrived maybe 7 minutes later. With our appetizer barely eaten we moved on to our main dish. My husband was almost done with his burger when he bit into paper. At this point we just wanted to leave and had to wait another 15 minutes for our waitress. All in all wouldn't recommend.

Was looking for a good dining spot and stumbled upon this place. The convenience of being next to the shopping area was cool. Off the initial walk in the seating placement was weird maybe due to an expected party. Once seated the friendly server quickly took our orders and laid menus down for us. The kids were given crayons and activity sheets to work on. The environment was spooky but enjoying. I started off with chicken parm Mac n cheese egg rolls which were amazing. The kids had chicken tenders and homemade potato chips. My wife ordered the boneless chicken garlic parm and i had the pesto chicken sandwich which was delicious. To drink i had the blood moon sunrise margarita which was delicious as well. This was a good spot i would recommend to anyone.

Had lunch today at BBC! Considering it was noon on Friday of Columbus Day we were able to get right in! Service was attentive and friendly! The space is tight but the vibe is fun! The food was great! The burger - yum! Caesar salad got rave reviews and Cobb salad was delicious! Drinks were over the top awesome! I would definitely stop back in!

The "food" was disgusting. Really poor experience here. Servers were nice, but service was incredibly slow and wow, was the food trash.

So I am visiting from L.A. my friend took me to Salem for the day and we stopped and went into this establishment. I wasn't too hungry since it was 11:00 in the morning but normally because I am a panda I do love to eat. I got a cup of clam chowder and my friend got a burger with cheese and chips. He says it was good in line was amazing. Normally I don't think clam chowder comes with bacon but I will say it was amazing and actually complimented the chowder really well. I will say we both wish they had mac and cheese and mushrooms cuz I was going to get something with mushrooms and he was going to get something with mac and cheese. The ambience inside was pretty good and clean

We went during a very busy time and didn't have a reservation. We were able to sit at the bar which wasn't ideal but the service we received was excellent. The burgers were good and cooked to our specifications. Food portions were generous. Will definitely return!

We came here after exploring Salem all day. The food was absolutely delicious and the servers were amazing. I got the garden salad with ranch. Their ranch has a strong dill taste which was amazing. My kiddos and husband got burgers. Their mozzarella sticks were huge and delicious! Super happy with our experience

I've always loved Boston Burger Company. From the shakes to the food everything is always delicious. Their mozzarella sticks are a whole level superior to everyone else's. I definitely have popping in for a shake and mozzarella sticks!

Salem has soo many options for food, and it was hard to decide on what to eat. I'm so glad we chose Boston burger company. I was so excited to see poutine on the menu. You can never go wrong with poutine. Soo much cheese and I asked for extra gravy. This was a 10/10 for me. I ordered the 420 which was absolutely f ing amazing. I saw signs that said at 4:20 the burger costs $4.20. I mean if you see how big this burger is... it's a great deal! They give you great portion sizes. Loved this restaurant. Great service and I believe they also have outdoor seating but we sat inside. 10/10 for me. Don't walk past this place. They even have these monster shakes that have lots and lots of sweets and toppings but if you're with a big group you can share it as a dessert.

Great crust on the patty. Solid flavor. My son loved the flavor on the apple topped burger. The cheese "sticks" are more like batons and are a good choice if you like fried cheese. Service was really good, personalized as well. The place is clean, staff is friendly, food was good, so hell yeah I recommend it!

Good: friendly service just terrible service. The egg rolls were amazing. We got the chicken Parmesan ones. Sangria was good. Bad: wrong order after wrong order..... they I ordered white wine and got Prosecco. My burger was wrong - it was supposed to have fried Jalepenos and regular... it had two regular pieces. Not spicy at all. The spicy bbq was just regular bbq. Overall, would not return except for the egg rolls.

My husband and I were visiting from Chicago and we decided to have lunch here. Best decision ever! The service was great and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was spooky and fun! When we go back to Salem this is going to be one of our first stops!

Where to start!! First time in Boston and I did not wanted to go back home without trying a really tender juicy burger and let me tell you!! This place has the most maxing inventive and creative burgers that I have ever seen! The restaurant is small but have a great character if you are into tarot then this is your place, well you are in Salem so you must go with the flow and open mind. Our server Amber did an amazing job describing the burgers and suggesting a sub one burger for another, Veggie burger sub for turkey burger mom said it was good but could be better. the Vermonster is a must to try, juicy, tender, delicious and the sauce will blow your mind is a mix of not overpowering flavors, "maybe because I love maple" the burger sauce apple and bacon mix melts in your mouth, and hit the spot, and burger bomb my stepfather opinion was juicy tender and amazing Amber thank you very much for your attention suggestion and for checking on us you have an amazing customer service

Burger was ok but you had to order fries separate. Buns were cold. No idea why. The service was slow but were nice kids. Emailed guest services as requested. No response

Omg, out-of-towners here and we had a food-gasm. Service was great, food was excellent and piping hot. The burgers are huge and when we said we wanted it medium, it was a true medium. The decor is typical of Salem and we had plenty of room to move around. Thanks Boston Burger Co, we'll be back.

Here's the deal - we have been dying to dine here since our first trip to Salem in 2023, but it was October and good luck eating anywhere during that month. It's cute inside! We were at the Hawthorne dealing with some wedding stuff and finally got the chance to dine in. We were seated right away with menus and it didn't look too busy so we figured we'd get to order pretty quickly. The server came back after we made our decisions and took our order after another couple who arrived after us had made theirs. We waited. And waited. And waited. Watched dozens of online orders come and go, new people seated and served and finally asked what the deal was. Evidently they had forgotten to put our order in and after about 45 minutes realized their error. To their credit, they offered us a free frappe for our trouble. I think they should have covered the cost of one of our meals at that point, but the frappe was all they were willing to part with. Our burgers were good, but certainly not wait 45 minutes in an empty restaurant for your food, good. The house made potato chips absolutely are worth the wait, though. Also that frappe was pretty bangin so I'll keep them at 4 stars. We will def go back, but maybe be a bit more assertive if we are waiting unreasonably long.

This place had amazing food and huge portions. The staff was very friendly and attentive even with how busy it was. The music was upbeat but relaxed and the tvs had sports. It's a smaller location but perfect for Salem.

I was in town for a few days , I ate here because the hotel, I was staying at said they had good burgers and they were right . Good burgers and drinks .

We had some really good appetizers and great burgers and would definitely recommend the food. Although it a quite a small place they make it work for seating. The service was good and friendly. The burger bomb and boston burger are both very good. They have some very unique options too that make it fun. Check it out in Salem!

I'm all set with this place I will never come back, the lady was handling chicken with bare hands and putting it into plastic bags in front of people while we are eating, you should also be wearing gloves. also the male waiter kept yelling about politics super unprofessional, saying his professor told him to vote for a certain candidate just sad that the younger generation can't make up their own minds and are so misinformed. regardless you shouldn't be talking politics while you work there and people are eating. I didn't even eat my meal I packed it into a to go box & threw it out when I got home. won't be going back

Because I was recovering from a tonsillectomy and couldn't I eat more than mac and cheese consistency. I went with the mac and cheese. Some mac and cheese was actually really really good. They had a buffalo mac and cheese and another one but again couldn't swallow that. So I stuck with the just four cheese macaroni and it did not disappoint cheese wise. The burger itself was good. It was a nice juicy burger that was thick but not too large to eat. All the burgers look delicious and all the sides looked good but the burger and mac and cheese was a nice filling meal without being outrageously priced, especially for being in Salem. Would be fun if they went the witch trial route to cater to the Taurus and have like a which burger or something. Some sort of theme that goes along with it. I'm not going to hold that against them. Just an idea though. The food itself is delicious so I would go back again when in town. The staff were good. It's kind of a small place inside so I could see it being busy at times.

Sat at the bar while visiting Salem and got a caprese and it was exactly what it was supposed to be. My friends ordered burgers, fries and wings and loved them. I just loved the wait staff here they were all so kind. The place is packed with tourists and loud but it's right by Essex street so I'm grateful we even got seats.

Why do we have to order a whole order of fries with our sandwiches? Would have been a 5 star if sandwiches came with fries. I had the 420 burger, was a great burger, as good of burgers as I could make, and much better than 98% of the burgers I have eaten from restaurants. My wife really liked the chicken club, and you should trust her because she is a very picky eater. At here twice during our vacation.

Bucket list trip ..must try the Witches Brew. Now I've actually got Glitter in my insides sparkling ! 10pm Poutine & Smores make this a definite vacation must! No lines, just laughs. Our Service was ATTENTIVE, TOP NOTCH, even at 10pm . HOST welcomed us and asked us where we were visiting from. He was really funny. It's the "MUST EAT HERE" place when visiting Salem.

Not a good experience at all. We asked for well done bacon, but what we received was so undercooked it was inedible. Asked for our burgers medium rare, received them all well done. The fries were a mushy mess too. Everything is ridiculously overpriced for how poorly made it is. On top of that, if you try to pay with cash they round up the total, because they apparently don't keep change on hand. Will never be eating here again. And I'm a resident who spends a lot on local food, not a single visit tourist. I noticed that you ask all the bad reviewers to email customer service. I won't be doing that. What I will be doing is telling every local I know just how poor the food is at your establishment. It's too late to fix a first impression, and you're not going to bribe me to give an untruthful review. Do better.

We didn't have to wait for a table but was sat in the tiniest corner. I had to literally side slide and apologize to the table next to us to get to my seat. We had high hopes for this restaurant as triple D fans but the food was sub par. My burger was over cooked and my bun was so hard I only ate the top half. The most of the staff seemed to be handling everything well but our waitress was scattered and barely came back to our table. We had to ask where some of our stuff was and she didn't even realize we didn't have it. My mom's milkshake came so late she barely drank it. It was also disappointing that they had sub par Halloween decorations up that just covered the iconic ouija board sign so you couldn't take a picture of it. Overall was not impressed

We stopped here for not the right reasons. We were not hungry, but I had to use the restroom extremely bad and couldn't wait. I went here to use the restroom and it was the best place to stop when I didn't need to. The place was awesome. We had some appetizers and they were good .We all had drinks, I had two beers of local products, my wife and daughter had nice cocktails that tasted really good. This place has a cool setup as it has the garage doors to allow you to be internal and external sitting. Overall great place. Highly recommend it, hoping to try the burgers next time.

We came in to an empty restaurant and were seated at a table. We sat at that table for over 20 minutes without a server coming to our table to take our order or even offer drinks/ water. There were two people working the front that both talked to us when we came in and seated us and then promptly ignored us once we were at the table. Around the 20 minute mark a table of four came in and was immediately greeted with a server at their table. I'm just confused?? We left.

Good burger and nice variety. Wish we were more hungry during our visit so we had room to try a shake. Great location and friendly service.

lol this is glorified Wendy's. Nothing special about the food nor the chicken or burger sandwiches they serve. $14 for mozzarella sticks? Why? because they are elongated and half empty inside? Staff is nice and the older man that greets at the door very professional. I caught another server briefly dig into his nose with his hand and then into his beard right before he picked up our mozz sticks plate that were sitting in the window for 7-10 minutes. This is a total tourist trap. Too pricey for the food offered with some hand sanitation issues.

Our food tonight was unreal. The chicken Caesar fries were the star and an easy 5/5. I wasn't a huge fan of the bacon cheese fries but my kids enjoyed it. Finally I had the hot mess burger which I get everytime and is my favorite burger here by a mile. Can't wait to come back.

It was okay. I had the wicked hot and my husband had the hot mess. It was a perfectly fine burger, but nothing special. The slaw was plain and unseasoned, and the chips were as well. We also got the nacho fries and they were standard as well. Overall, it was just meh. They also don't have high chairs available but Rockefella's next door let us borrow one. The wait staff was nice and even mentioned that they were going to obtain a high chair for the future. I'm not sure why this burger joint is so popular, I definitely wouldn't call it the best burger in town.

This place was crowded Our food was fair at best. We had to send back the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese because it was too spicy. The grilled chicken sandwich came out cold. The turkey burger was raw and had to be sent back and the garnish on the pulled pork Mac and cheese was pretty non existent. All in all, there should be improvement on the kitchen aid. I will say the manager was most understanding and comped our meals. They just need to adjust their manpower and kitchen staff to accommodate a heavy flow. The wait staff is not empowered to do anything to take care of the customers!! Please do better Boston burger bar!! An opportunity for sure!!

Stopped by BBC today for a quick lunch. Chloe was such an attentive server, super personable, friendly, and outgoing. She added a good energy to our meal. Burger was yummy. Will be returning!

The food was great, Waiter Joey was attentive and helpful. They had the best Oreo shake! My teenage son says the place is in his top 3 lifetime!

Unbelievably bad customer service. Ordered delivery directly from them. Waited over an hour, and it said it was on its way, then they cancelled it. They refused to give refund at first. Took over three weeks to finally get it. Trash company. Go to Rockefellas next door for a great burger and service.

While walking by we noticed a sign in BB Company's window advertising a dish that looked like a monstrosity . It seemed appropriately titled , "Fuhgeddaboudit Fries." Picture it (and check the photos): wedge fries , pepperoni, Jack cheese, honey and jalapeños drizzled with Calabrian chili mayo . It sounded like a literal hot mess . We were sold . We ordered it . It was so hot I think I broke a sweat but I just couldn't stop eating it . The flavor profile was very complex starting with a sweety and salty flavor which quickly turned into a spicy inferno . I loved it . I haven't forgotten about it:) if you see it on the menu and you like spicy , check it out .
