Took a walking tour with the Boston History Company, our tour guide was Jim, and we had a great time. I have spent a decent amount of time in Boston, but with this being my son‘s first time, I wanted him to have a chance to learn more about the city, and even I learned some new things!
Jim covered a lot of the basic information as we locked up along the freedom trail, But I loved the narrative he put together around the role in Boston played in the revolution and the many prominent figures that called Boston home.
He pointed out unique aspects of the city, such as major landmarks and outdoor art installations. Not only did he talk about people, but he also helped us try to understand some the cultural aspects that have been facing During the 16 and 17 hundreds.
Would highly recommend to anybody looking to learn more about Boston and be entertained while doing so.
