We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was extremely spacious and spotlessly clean, which made it incredibly comfortable for us. Being directly attached to a shopping centre was a huge bonus—everything we needed was just steps away, which made our stay super convenient. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, and the hotel had all the essentials we were looking for. The gym was well-equipped and a pleasant surprise, though the pool did get quite crowded during our visit. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient place to stay—we’d definitely consider coming back.

I researched where to stay in Boston for a 2 night getaway. The staff was very helpful with our check in and some issues we had with booking with points. Alexandria was fantastic! One of the main reasons for picking this location was for a view of the fireworks over the river. Our view of the city from a higher floor was spectacular and we could see fireworks going off all over the city. From the large windows on the floor lobby we watched the main fireworks show up close and personal without crowds. It was spectacular! The bed was very comfortable and the room and facilities very clean. Great gluten free options in the restaurant also. Places were walkable or not hard to get to via public transportation. The “complimentary”tickets (part of the $30/night destination fee) to the 360 view of Boston in the Prudential Center was icing on the cake. If we are able to return to Boston this Marriott will be the first thing we book!

My husband and I recently spent a night at this hotel while exploring Boston and attending a Red Sox game nearby with friends. The staff was courteous and professional. The concierges went above and beyond to assist us, offering recommendations that helped us explore more of the city. Our room was modern, spotless, with a fantastic bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. Several chain and local restaurants are conveniently located near the hotel. We visited the Yard House in the hotel for after-game drinks with friends, and the service there was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay when in Boston.

Luxury travelers, take note: this Marriott property falls well short of expectations - MUCH closer to a 3-star experience at best. Geared more toward conventioneers than discerning guests, it lacks even basic amenities. In place of standard bathroom products, you'll find a tiny bar of soap & a small tube of lotion. Robes aren't provided unless requested and what we received were thin, worn, gray, & frankly uninviting. The bed is among the most uncomfortable I’ve encountered... firm, squeaky, & far from restful. Worse still, when we pulled back the comforter, we found stained sheets!! Housekeeping was dispatched promptly & apologized, but it was an unsettling start. Combined with the mattress quality, it made for an uninviting and disappointing experience. There’s no warmth or character to the property (or it's staff) - it’s physically connected to a mall, and that sterile, impersonal vibe permeates the entire stay. Had we not already committed over $3,200 for this visit, we would have gladly checked out & gone elsewhere.

I got two nights stay at the hotel. My experience was fantastic from check in to check out. I arrived a little before lunch as I was transferring from Westin right next door so I wasn’t sure if I had to wait until 4pm for checkin. The front desk staff took me in pleasantly without a fuzz, very thankful for that especially when I’m on a tight travel plan. The room was very spacious and clean plenty of clean bathroom supplies, shower was awesome with just the right water pressure. The only thing I would suggest is to just leave the complementary bottle water in room (especially during the summer season) as opposed to having to pick up at front desk (which I wasn’t aware until my friend told me who was also staying at the same hotel). However the room does have two bottles of water but they are priced. I did notice that the internet is not free if you are not a Marriott member (not sure if it’s a norm now days but I think Westin was free for hotel guest and both are under the same hotel Group, but it stood out in my experience with the Hotels as I just completed two weeks of travel right before the stay), so at Checkout I asked to ensure my member number is associated with my stay and the gentleman at the front desk kindly confirmed that the internet charge will be removed on final billing. That was a peace of mind for me. Very thankful again. Overall a comfortable stay and will revisit!

Had a great stay. Superb location and very well appointed spacious rooms. Super friendly and helpful staff. A special mention for Mahmoud Tawab who helped us on the second day to get connecting rooms so that we could be near our kids. Also a special mention for Miguel Pomales Torres (the bell captain) and his team to try and locate our bag which we had sent by FedEx from our previous location. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Boston. Keep up the great work!!!

Stayed at the Boston Marriott Copley Place and really enjoyed it. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a stunning view of the Charles River. The location is perfect — connected to shops and close to everything in Back Bay.||The M Club Lounge was a great bonus — quiet, well-stocked, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The on-site small market shop was convenient, though a bit on the expensive side.||One small issue: I requested additional items through the Marriott app, but the request wasn’t recognized. I had to follow up twice before it was addressed. Hopefully the system improves.

I recently stayed at the Boston Marriott Copley Place and had a fantastic experience. While the surrounding area can be a bit pricey, the hotel more than makes up for it with its unbeatable location and upscale atmosphere. It’s conveniently located right above and next to a high-end mall, giving you easy access to a wide variety of shopping and dining options—all without stepping outside. The room itself was exceptionally clean and looked newly renovated—modern, fresh, and very comfortable. It felt like staying in a five-star property. The staff were also incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel in Boston with luxury amenities, walkable dining, and top-tier service, I highly recommend Boston Marriott Copley Place.

Yelp
We stayed here for the Susan G Komen 3-Day walk and had a great time. The rooms were nice and clean with daily house keeping. The staff was super friendly to all of us staying and we were definitely taking over the hotel for the weekend with the big event. The only thing that irked me was when I checked in, I asked for a room next to my teammate, and there was none available. The receptionist said there was a room on the floor below and that was the closest she could get me. Then after she got me checked in, she actually put me 3 floors above my teammate and stated that "she put me in a really nice room." (I thought I got an upgrade). No... lol it was the same as my teammates. So I'm not sure what that was about. I didn't take any stars off my rating for that but I was a little disappointed.

Yelp
I recently stayed at this Marriott for business travel. It's convenient to an office location and seemed like an easy choice. The hotel is part of a large complex with a multi-story foyer that opens into a mall-like space. While there are a lot of amenities, it's not the quiet hotel you may be looking for. The elevators are a bit complex to understand and many of the older patrons were confused and required help navigating them. The rooms themselves are nice, clean, standard rooms. I was close to the elevators, which I don't expect as a rewards member and frequent customer. Because of that, it was a loud night, even with a sound machine on. They have room service available from the Yard House on the second level, but the menu is very limited. My checkin process was smooth, but when I returned to the concierge desk, twice, during my stay I was unable to get the help I needed. Verdict, I would stay again for the convenience, but this is likely not the Marriott experience you're used to

Yelp
Price gauging ---- Saturday Night I paid $199 / Sunday $239 I went and ask if I could stay Monday for the same rate. They quoted me over $900 This is disgusting consumerism. I do not know what algorithm they use to determine their pricing structure but this is ridiculous. Boston hotels are super expensive: There are like some that are worth $900 a night. This hotel is worth MAX $250. MAX it is a hotel that is located right next to the Boston Public Library, which I love. The Library does happen to be a place that homeless people tend to hang out at. This does mean that there are a number of homeless people directly around the hotel. The water is like warm at best. The fire alarm went off the first morning crazy weird and did not provide for a great sleep. Things they did well--- the have a little stuff sheep and give you a little scavenger hunt to earn him. It was adorable.

Yelp
Absolute horrible experience. I will never stay at another Marriott ever again. We booked this hotel on the Fourth of July through a third-party app. The picture showed the room having a view from a high floor overlooking the river. I booked this in March. On May 28. I called the hotel directly to confirm that that would be our view and advised the person working there (Tiffany) that we were flying from California specifically to watch the fireworks over the river. I was put on hold while she contacted the general manager of the hotel who confirmed that our room would have a view of the river. When we arrived, we were not on a high floor and we were on the other side of the hotel. I was very upset. We specifically flew in from California to watch the fireworks over the river. I was told that my wanting a view of the river was a request and not a guarantee and that they do not guarantee specific rooms. Really? so someone can book a room with a particular view and fly across the country and that's just a request and not a guarantee? I have no doubt that if I had not booked through a third-party app that I would've gotten the room that I had requested. The manager of the front desk could not have cared less and was completely rude. They gave us a measly $30 back. If we had known that we were not going to have a view of the river like I was told that we would we would not have, come here at all. They kept saying you booked a corner room not a room on a highway with the view of the river. I told the guy that's why I called to confirm that it would have a view of the river and be on a high floor and I was told that it was. I even told her are you sure and she said yes. I was like we're flying from California for this. Yes I talked to the general manager. The hotel was booked, and I have no doubt if they gave our room to someone who didn't book through a third-party app. If Marriott had done better than given us a measly $30 refund, I would be inclined to stay at another Marriott. I will admit that the room was nice but to think that you can book a particular room and fly across the country only to find out if that's not what you get is unacceptable to me. Also, to top it off, we are Bonvoy members.

Yelp
My family and I stayed here on a weekend getaway for my early birthday celebration. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't know what to expect but was happy that it had a Yard House restaurant and Starbucks. Also, it's connected to the Copley Mall and Prudential Center. Across the street, you will find the grocery chain, Star Market. Talk about convenient! They only offered valet parking for $69 a day; make sure to bring money to tip your drivers and bell hops. Every employee we encountered were very professional and friendly. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. I really loved the rainfall showerhead in the shower. Housekeeping was pleasant and offered to clean our room/provide new towels. The TV was huge; we were able to sign into Netflix with our account. There was a Keurig machine in the room and bottles of water for $5. The room was quiet at night; I couldn't really hear anyone in the hallway or outside. Unfortunately, we didn't get to check out the indoor heated pool because we didn't have time. There was a gym (which I didn't get to check out) and the M Club for VIP members. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. It was family friendly and close to everything! I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
The hotel was clean and I had a great view. There was a refrigerator and a Keurig machine in the room. I don't drink coffee but I can see how it's nice for someone who does. The bathroom is a bit small so if you're a bigger person you may have trouble going in and out of the bathroom. I am 5'2" and it was a bit hard for me. The housekeeping services was excellent I had Diana and Erika and they did fantastic. The front desk was friendly. The Yard House was upstairs which was convenient at times. They do not have breakfast at this hotel but The Yard House does a buffet. I didn't use it but a couple of friends did and they said it was pretty good. If I came back to Boston I would stay here again.

Yelp
I recently planned and executed a corporate event at the Marriott Copley Plaza. The staff at the hotel ensured that everything went smoothly and without any issues. The hotel is right in the heart of Copley Square. I haven't been to the Marriott there in YEARS. The last time I was there I found it very run-down and in need of a remodel. They certainly remodeled everything. All common areas have been gutted and redesigned. They have a solid restaurant and bar on-site that is open LATE. If you want to shop, the hotel connects to the mall. The remodel was done very tastefully. The rooms were spotless and all updated. We stayed in a double queen room. The beds were very comfortable. I was truly astounded how nice it was compared to your typical Marriott property. Once you're checked in, you head to the elevators. There, you touch a screen to select your floor. The system tells you which elevator to take. It's very cool and works great. The new remodel is modern, yet subdued. The room was extremely comfortable and we loved the giant TV. The TV system allows you to sign into your Netflix account. No issues with internet speeds or connectivity. If you do not feel like going downstairs, you can order Yard House to your room via in-room dining. Be aware there is a service fee and gratuity added, so it is cheaper to call in a pickup order and go grab it yourself. My only complaint was the lack of flexibility by the hotel. They don't like honoring or offering late check-outs and they're ringing the room phone the MINUTE it turns 11PM. It's why they lost a star. I'd highly suggest the property for meetings, events, and conventions. They did a wonderful job with that. The rooms are updated, comfortable, and cozy. The remodel truly took it up to a whole new level.

Yelp
This is a nice property located in Back Bay. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from and places to shop nearby. I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Yelp
Changing my rating to one star after these sneaky crooks ran through two $10.00 charges on my credit card 4 days after checking out, for two 8 oz bottles of water that were provided at the time of checkin!! No mention was made of the cost at the time; I assumed they were free. Nothing was on the bill either. After reviewing my credit card statement, I called the hotel and they told me what the $20.00 add-on charges were for. How sneaky is that??

Yelp
Tl;dr Avoid Joey at the Front Desk. He's incredibly rude and unaccommodating. Also, if you have late check-out, bring your ID and get your key reprogrammed before noon. I'm from Boston and was visiting my family for Christmas. I love the central location of the Marriott, the connection to the malls and the subway, and that it has a pool. The rates were very fair for the holiday season and I have loyalty to Marriott so done deal. There is a city tax for each day you stay so they compensate it with complementary spin classes, free Trolley Tours, and $25 credit at the Yard House restaurant on the 2nd floor. The rooms are spacious and clean but lack hand soap (we just lived through COVID, come on). While there is a "heated" indoor pool, it was cold and there is no accompanying hot tub. On my last morning, I called the front desk if it was possible to check out later than noon. The girl was super nice and let us stay until 2PM but we would need to go downstairs to get our keys reprogrammed. Perfect! Since I was meeting my cousin at the Yard House at 12:15PM, I went downstairs at noon to get my key reprogrammed. Joey asked me for my ID because apparently I "could've picked up the card holder and keys from anywhere". As I was coming down for lunch, I didn't have my wallet and, because it was after noon, I couldn't get back into my room. It is Christmas Day. Give me a break... He was adamant about needing a pic of my ID so my husband and I were scrolling on our phones for 15 minutes looking for a picture of my ID. He refused a picture of my state ID but my husband found a picture of my passport. I also told him I had my reservation details available on my Marriott Bonvoy app. He accepted the picture of my passport and said, "Well, you should've showed me your reservation and that would've saved us a lot of trouble." Excuse me but you didn't offer that as an option??! When I was checking out a couple of hours later, he was available but I refused to get helped by him and waited for someone else to free up. Joey, I'm sorry you are working on Christmas but you don't have to ruin other people's holidays. Good luck to ya.

Yelp
Well appointed but rather small rooms. Great M club and close to excellent shopping. Helpful staff. Very pricey and nickel and dime you to death. $30 'destination' fee per day. The desire to extract maximum revenue is more prevalent than hospitality. But that seems to be pervasive in many Marriotts these days. Guests are seen as ATM's and service is secondary.

Yelp
We were upgraded to a suite on the 37th floor which boasted commanding views. Everything looked brand new, not a complete surprised as we were told their rooms had been recently renovated. The suite was expansive, accommodating a really impressive view of South Boston, Logan Airport and the harbor islands in the distance. We had essentially 180 degrees of uninterrupted views from one of the tallest vantage points in the area. Check out the photos. The living room included a couch, chair, large TV, fridge, sink, closet and safe. Everything was in perfect working order. It opened to a large king bedroom with en suite, which boasted the same view as the living room. The bed was very comfortable, and everything looked new. They have high tech elevators at the Marriott, you must first select the floor on a touch screen, and are then assigned an elevator. This seemed to work very well, as you weren't loaded into an elevator with a few other people all destined for different floors. They have an expansive fitness center with views of the city and a large pool which was filled with February vacation children on this weekend. There is plenty of room for a comprehensive workout in this facility. The Marriott is at the end of the Copley Place Mall an upscale, luxury shopping mall with stores like Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Yves Saint Laurent, Salvatore Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Burberry, and Versace. If you want to buy an expensive designer bag, I guess this is your mall! These designer shops were interspersed with the occasional Rolex store and Mont Blanc pen proprietor. The Marriot also connects via an elevated walkway to the Prudential Shopping Mall, which has about 75 stores, and is more typical of a nice regional mall. There are a plethora of mall stores and restaurants here, with food choices ranging from Eddie V's Seafood to the Shake Shack. You can get in a pretty long mall walk if you tour both these malls! The Marriott is in an excellent location, with easy access to all the Boston sites. And other than a mediocre meal from the Yard House, we thought this Marriott visit deserved a five star rating. We would be delighted to return.

Yelp
Recently stayed here during a business trip. It's a pretty cool hotel. There's a luxury mall attached and I really loved that they had a Starbucks! The rooms were nice and included complimentary amenities. Just be mindful that in order to use the Wifi for free, you have to be a Marriott Rewards member. From the upper levels the view of the city were pretty nice. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

Yelp
I had an incredibly unpleasant experience with the receptionist named Kava. She was completely unhelpful and indifferent to the problems I was having. She has single-handedly made me to reconsider my loyalty to Marriott as a whole and I would advise others to expect little in the way of a warm welcome or helpful service from anyone at this location. Stay somewhere else.

Yelp
Huge hotel in downtown Boston. Great location, close to everything. The hotel nightly cost is quite expensive though for what you get. It is not really luxurious, more middle to upper. Lots of taxes and destination fees tacked on on top of your hotel room cost. Sorta hidden fees I would say which I don't really like. Take the Logan Express from the airport to get here. Super easy and free. Get off at Prudential stop and not Dartmouth (Google is wrong. Prudential is a much easier walk. Google says Dartmouth stop which is more desolate area.) To go from hotel back to airport is $3 on Logan Express Back Bay and you get a skip the line at the airport pass. Buy your $3 ticket online beforehand and show QR code to driver. He will give you a paper skip the line ticket for the shorter security line. Super easy and safe.

Yelp
Nice place good location. Rooms had a keurig coffee maker that was refilled every day with 4 cups of coffee. The yard house restaurant was great and not too expensive for its location. The pool was small but clean. The elevators sucked, they took forever to come and were always full even though they use the newer technology of choosing the floor and the display tells you which elevator to get on. They have the nerve to charge $21.00 a day for WiFi even though they are already charging $300 a night for the room, breakfast isn't included either. The more you pay in hotels the less you get, a $50.00 a night holiday inn gives you breakfast and WiFi.

Yelp
Nice choice to stay in Boston, contently located close to prudential mall and interconnected with the mall and other hotels Convenient tar house in the premises Starbucks Rooms are comfortable and clean, room service made daily. Comfortable Brad and bedding Beautiful layout and bathroom finishes Used daily the keurig machine in the room. Small bottled water provided at the front desk. Room service requesting toiletries were not addressed Overall great place to stay

Yelp
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The air conditioner did have a hard time keeping up with the warm weather the couple days it was in the 90s. The internet in my room didn't work after the first day. It kept saying my information didn't match the records which I called the desk to ask about and they said everything was right. The staff was quick to respond and sent someone to help me move my stuff after a pipe burst and I came back to find that my room had an inch of standing water and everything was damp if not soaked, however I feel they could've sent out messages or at least tried to assess which rooms had been affected and notified people instead of just waiting and letting people come back to a mess. The hotel was having a mouse problem, which again I can understand and it isn't their fault. They said they were setting out more traps for them. The problem I had was that they put out glue traps. These traps are beyond cruel. They basically subject the animal to extreme pain while they panic and either die of starvation or stress. The ones that instantly kill them would even be better if they can't do the live capture traps.

Yelp
Had the pleasure of staying here this week for the birth of our granddaughter! This hotel exceeds all our expectations! The front desk staff are so personable! Presented us with a wonderful gift basket to celebrate!!! This was so kind! Everyone here is fantastic! The Yardhouse restaurant is exceptional!!! Our go to whenever we're in Boston

Yelp
This was a fairly busy Marriott hotel. Right in the middle of Boston. There seemed to have been many conferences, groups, etc in the hotel and even more people for the restaurants and other places within the building. The hotel itself was pleasant. The staff were nice. Parking was not complimentary or validated with the hotel ($42/day to self park). However, the M lounge had a large area for breakfast in the morning (props to the newer espresso machine). Also, the view from the room was pretty as was the pool and gym area. I would consider coming back

Yelp

Yelp

Yelp
Came here for a gala dinner one night and was kind of disappointed. The hotel staff who hosted the event checking me in were quite rude. I asked if there were coat hangers and straight up "nos", with unhappy faces... it was a common trend too (not sure if they were specific to the gala or to the hotel but still, can I not ask about a coat check?!) The bathrooms on the 4th floor were mostly dirty and not-flushed, lighting was also bad, seemed very dim for a bathroom. Hotel lighting was also really dull in general. The worst part about the gala was the food.... quite disappointing, nothing stood out, the servers were generally unfriendly and looked unhappy, and also something from this buffet style dinner made my stomach seriously upset (usually can eat a lot of things, this is really uncommon for me).

Yelp
I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Boston Marriott Copley place. The customer service was amazing! David Montealegre, was very helpful with the check in process and kindly answered by random questions about Boston and the hotel. It was the first time in awhile that the front desk representative truly believed in professionalism. Thank you!

Yelp
Came with friends to catch up and sightsee. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nice location for high end shopping and it's one of the stops for the Old Trolley tour. They even provided us free tickets! The Yard House in the hotel made it really convenient to grab a bite to eat before heading out or just coming back from a long day. I was glad there was a convenience shop inside because I forgot my swim trunks. I bought a stuffed lobster toy for my cats and there was a good post card selection that I bought from to mail to my family and friends who couldn't make the trip. They even had stamps for my post cards!

Yelp
When I was booking a hotel in Boston for work I wa slooking at various properties. I would have likely gone with the Westin since it's near the office and I know it's decent. As I was searching on the site it said "newly renovated" so I figured Id give it a go. I have been to a lot of the "newer" marriotts and they are nice. Well this one is nicer. They did a really nice job on the hotel and espeically on the rooms. I was pretty impressed, so it's worth a stay for sure.

Yelp
Nice rooms. Location, location, location. Good customer service. Great gym. Prices are a bit high, but on par with similar hotels in Boston.

Yelp
This Marriott treats family and friend like crap, don't rent here plus they under construction so it's a mess and they don't care about how they treat their members.

Yelp
If these are important to you, stay at Marriott Copley: - location, location, location!! You could spend an entire day exploring the interconnected shopping centers without ever leaving the building, and it's within walking distance to everything you need - service and friendly staff - housekeeping A+ - nice view of Boston - big tv If these are important to you, DON'T stay at Marriott Copley: - expensive for really tight and basic room - broken and dirty items throughout the room that hints at outdated maintenance - showerhead with strong but sparse streams of water - tiiiiiny bathroom - everything in vending machine is out of stock - blackout curtains don't really black out - pillows are truly lumpy (I was able to grab hold of a log shaped lump while attempting to fluff)

April D.

Yelp
Lovely hotel with close proximity to shopping, sightseeing and dining. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is there was no breakfast options included unless you are a Marriott "M"Member.

Mx G.

Yelp
very spendy, like a very dynamic rate from $250 - $730/night rack rate, but if you are not paying, it is nice enough. you do have to pay for the water bottle in your room, however. and, then there is a $29 destination fee per night on top of it and $79 in taxes. like icing on a pig. the $29 gets you some stuff that typically has little value to you, particularly since you already paid for it and there are far better choices within walking distance. It might get you a drink in their bar, and two free $10 trolly tickets (per visit). Parking if you register ahead is only $58/night, but if you walk up its $70/night. I was unimpressed with the value and can hardly imagine going back.

Yelp
First time in Boston to celebrate our 30th anniversary & Marriott Copley never failed us. They allowed us to check in really early bec of an early flight arrival. The concierge gave us a lot of freebies including Hop on Hop off tour, credits from The Yard house restaurant. 10th floor was awesome in views. Newly renovated room so everything is just great. Only downfall is the overpriced valet parking which we can't complain that much bec our location was fantastic. When you walk down everything is closeby including the high end Copley Mall. Memories can't be erased . Thank you Boston Copley Marriott.

Stay away. What a shat hole. Location is terrific but the homeless in the park across the street have more comfortable bedding. The towels are so thin and rough i threw them out. If everyone does this the towels will be new eventually. Pay it forward.

Yelp
I really loved my stay in this Hotel. I love experiencing new hotels and their beds, all beds are different...lol While making one more family visit to Boston, I decided to stay here because even though my family love to take me in, I just wanted to have the tourist experience in Boston and since this place has a swimming pool, I thought that It was a great idea to bring my son for a fun 3 days get away. He loves coming to Boston and staying in the center of the city was a great experience for him. He explore local places and restaurants on his own, which is what I am trying to encourage him to go out more and have fun. This hotel is in a great location, couldn't be better. There is a map in the lobby of local areas, things to do, and places to discover. I was placed in the 20th floor which was very cool, there was a lot of silence and I was able to have great peaceful sleep nights which is what I always want from a hotel stay.

Yelp
I just spent a weekend here and it was great. There were conventions in the building and the crazy crowds were managed brilliantly. The staff were responsive and professional and never lost their cool. Service was quick. There were crazy protesters outside as well, but the hotel kept the guests secure keeping anyone who wasn't staying at the hotel out. I barely noticed the chaos. I was impressed and would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Great experience at this hotel. The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and came with a great view of the city and harbor. It has the nicest hotel gym I've seen, also with great views. I was told the indoor pool was a bit chilly but can't speak to that personally. The staff were among the friendliest I've met. On days with bad weather, you can technically access the hotel from Back Bay or Prudential Stations without having to go outside. Would stay here again.

Yelp
Excellent, excellent experiences every time! The rooms are beautiful, the view is amazing, and they take tremendous care of guests. The front desk is knowledgeable of the area and takes time to answer all questions. The location is fantastic. Nearby T stops, the Copley Farmer's Market takes place on Tuesday and Friday, and the mall gives great shopping options. I highly recommend staying here on your next visit to the city.

Yelp
Wow! I've been a "Marriott guy" for about 12 years, over 1000 nights stayed. This Marriott is super nice with many amenities. From the friendly staff that welcomed me, the the HUGE M Club (exec lounge) to the more than large fitness center with a 4 lane lap pool, this is one property I look forward to returning to. It's interesting and full of niceties. Highly recommend this property. And location, great!!

Yelp
Stayed for a conference. Hotel's HOSPITALITY staff was superb. The Hotel's SECURITY did a great job of insulating the conference from external disruption or interference. Highly recommended, and the next time we need to stay overnight in Boston, the Copley will be our FIRST CHOICE.

Yelp
The Marriott at Copley Place is a nice facility but I had some major issues with my reservation and my room, and it was seemingly impossible to get them resolved. First off, they have taken eco initiatives a step too far. The rooms are very dark (please address that in 3221). And many of the lights are on motion sensors. If you lay still on the bed, the light will randomly turn off). But the worst problem I had with this was during a shower. Mid shower, all the lights turned off on me. I had shampoo in my hair, the bathtub was soapy and slick, and the switch was across the room. I slipped and fell really hard, luckily my ego was bruised more than my body, I'm incredibly lucky I wasn't seriously injured. I don't care how clean the bathroom is, nobody wants to find themselves unexpectedly lying on the bathroom floor in the dark covered in soap. The bathroom light turned off once more during a subsequent shower, but the second time I was prepared. What an incredible safety hazard. I notified the front desk, and I tried to get the contact information for the general manager (Alan Smith) from the front desk, but he wasn't there and they didn't know his email. Alan, if you'd like to follow up, I was in room 3221 on March 26. My other big issue was with my Bonvoy account. My conference made some changes to my reservation on my behalf, which disconnected my bonvoy account accidentally. I went to the front desk on 3 separate instances, trying to get my bonvoy account connected to my reservation, so I could use the app. I was never able to get it working during my stay, despite being assured that it would each time. The hotel was clean. The conference facilities were nice. And the location is great. Yardhouse is a terrible hotel bar, but even that can be forgiven. But one terrible shower experience ruined my experience with this hotel, and the other minor inconveniences added up too.

Yelp
I attended a conference at the Marriott and I really appreciate their professionalism and respectfulness towards us attendees given the controversial nature of our event. There were protesters outside but security staff was excellent at keeping everyone safe.

Yelp
Lovely hotel, great conference/convention/ballroom spaces, wonderful staff. I would stay here anytime and it's an excellent place to hold large conventions.

Yelp
Great stay! Usually stay in Cambridge but whadda surprise! Thanks for the upgrade to the Lounge floor, Marriott. You rock elephant cojones! But I asked for a non-Lounge floor because I had business associates dropping off stuff and didn't want to go down and usher them to a secure floor every time. Marriott easily accommodated my request, and was provided an even higher floor room with a nicer city and river views. Pluses: 1) Modern elevators: press your floor and Elevator "X" opens and it goes only to your floor. 2) Comfy beds and quiet/efficient heating system 3) Starbucks on the 2nd floor, but walk a lil and you are treated to Lavazza in Eataly 4) Efficient staff and services 5) Quiet floor: no convention in town. But you wont see me here even if the convention is in my industry. 6) Perfect stay in winter-- when it was 35F out, hotel guests were wearing shorts and flip flops in the hotel and Copley Place lol. 7) Free to public, entertainment nightly on the 2nd Floor hotel lounge. 8) Free wireless internet by joining the Rewards program. Free enhanced for video internet to gold/platinums. 9) Service was superb 10) The T (Green and Orange lines) stops at the Pru side and Back Bay stop respectively. Cons: 1) The tiny tiny lounge is packed during breakfast & hors d'oeuvres/cocktail hour. Imagine all the gold/platinums and their families rush here for free food and drink. It was the last weekend for school break. 2) Not a fan of large hotels but the trade-off? It's connected to Copley Place: many shops, restos and Eataly. Visits: 1 Tip: Located in Copley Place along with a Sheraton, a Westin and a Mandarin Oriental. A winter stay in Boston is a perfect stay at any of the hotels here.

Yelp
I don't know how somebody could write a bad review on this place. I'm sure there are specific, isolated situations where things can go sideways, but for our visit not long ago, this place was top notch. Crazy convenient location too. We aren't exactly tourists either. We literally lived around the corner from this place quite a few years ago. It was nice to be staying back in our old neighborhood again. Where else can you travel that much of the city indoors when it's raining out. You are literally hooked right in navigate multiple city blocks indoors. Anyway, this is pretty much the only place I'll ever stay when I get back to Boston on the future.

Yelp
I had a strange experience in my last stay (2/2020). My stay disappeared on the Bonvoy mobile app - and I could not use the Chat and eKey functions on my last day there. Beside the technology glitches, the most recent experience was truly mediocre to bad. The check-in was painfully slow. I queued up at the elite line and I waited for over 20 mins with 3 people in front of me. The clerk disappeared in the middle of a transaction and was on phone calling someone continuously. Eventually, I used the e-check-in to get my mobile key - and perhaps that was the cause of my problem that the reservation disappeared. The bell people were not very friendly but the concierge was good. I stayed at the elite floor but the room and the furniture showed extensive wear and tear. This hotel really showed its age. Finally, I paid $62 a night for valet parking. It was a bit steep but they did get my car quickly. Between tips and tax, I paid over $70 per night! Leave your car at home. I stayed here many times and this stay was probably the worse of them all.

Yelp
Average accommodations with a High price! Small room with two beds, small bathroom with a sliding door that was hard to slide. You needed two hands to open or close it. But the bed was very comfortable. Furniture was old and outdated. Upon check the service was top notch with Jerry and Dimitri. The room had a great view of the Charles and the skyline is beautiful. The best thing is it's connection to malls and places to eat. You could hear people opening and closing the doors thru the night It's just old. Not chic at all. At or after 4am one morning an alarm went off and an automated recording came in telling you to not be alarmed waking us out of our sleep scaring me to death. I called asking for compensation and the didn't even offer to comp the night only $50. I left and went to another hotel. It's in a great location but would not choose this location until the interior is updated.

Yelp
I recently stayed four nights at the Boston Marriott Copley Place for a conference at the Hynes convention center. While Marriott is a fine chain of hotels, I would recommend not using this one. There are several issues: 1. Come with earplugs in case you get a room near an elevator. All night you have to deal with a high-pitched sound, followed to a grinding/whirring noise (presumably from the elevator cables). I mentioned this to the staff after the first night, and was told there have been other complaints about the noise. They gave me a pair of earplugs, reassigned me to a different room on the third night, and refunded me $100. I asked that, because of the disruption in my sleep for two nights, I be given a free night. That did not happen. 2. The rooms are very poorly lit. At least both of mine were, and a colleague staying in yet a different room also complained about the lighting. How bad was it? While packing in the morning (it was still dark outside) I had to turn on every light, plus the TV in order to help me find a item for my suitcase. It was still too dark to see inside of drawers. Fortunately I had a flashlight with me. 3. There is no fan in the bathroom, so the windows fog up when taking a shower. There are two buttons that control lights in the bathroom--one for the sink and one for the shower--but in my second room when I pressed them with a wet hand the circuit got "shorted out" (or something), and the lights no longer functioned. I reported the issue after taking a shower on my fourth day, and some staff evidently repaired it, but then it happened on the morning of my departure as well. Bottom line: if you are in Boston I would recommend a hotel other than the Marriott Copley Place.
