Service with a smile, and with a a good memory (they repeat the details of your order!). Great ambiance and spacious. Nice jazzy background music. Wide windows on the 1st floor complemented by rays of the morning sun are just so energizing. Food is amazing, we ordered Big Boss Breakfast plate, the Blueberry pancake, a flat white and a hot chocolate. Great Saturday morning!

We had a really enjoyable time. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a great mix of cozy seating and natural light that made it perfect for catching up. The menu had a great variety of brunch and lunch options, and the food was fresh, well-prepared, and packed with flavour, I’d definitely recommend the sweetcorn fritters or their all-day breakfast. The staff were friendly and attentive, and service was quick even though it was quite busy. It's a lovely spot for a relaxed meal or coffee, and I’d happily return.

Came here on a Friday afternoon and sat in the lovely and spacious garden area in the summer sun. We all had smoothies which, with a large selection of unique flavours are delicious. I went for the Sweetcorn Hash and wow! Incredibly tasty. Especially the maple and sriracha sauce. The others in the group had the salad and a side order of hash browns and the fresh nachos with salsa. We didn't leave any food as it was so enjoyable. Having visited a number of times now, well pretty much every time we visit Park Street, we've not had a bad meal. The staff are also lovely and really friendly.

We had a lovely afternoon tea. The service was great, the staff were all very accommodating. The sandwiches were tasty and didn't skimp on the filling! We had a free refill of a lovely blend of tea. An additional option of cake for those with nut allergies would have been nice (you can have 4 cakes between 2 people ( there were only 4 from the list to pick from one of which contained nuts)). Good place for a laid back catch up. It was good value for money. We'll be back!

Visited on a very busy Sunday morning so service was understandably slow, but tables and food were being well managed. Still one of my fave places for brunch!

Yelp
perfect american brunch To face the long day ahead of me, on Sunday I absolutely had to try the Boston Tea Party breakfast. If you love powerful American brunches, BTP is a must! At BTP, you will find the most sandwich and full-bodied semi-sweet pancakes you will ever eat in your life. Flavoured with a cascade of maple syrup, they will be the perfect match for the fried bacon with which they are served. Tired of avocado toast - let's face it, I can do it myself at home, without spending nine effing pounds - I wanted to try the famous eggs Benedict. Accompanied by two slices of sourdough toast bread and hollandaise sauce they were fire! I also wanted to add some bacon just to keep it light... because why not?! I was expecting classic American bacon in thin, crunchy and super scorched strips, but I think this is the English version: thick and almost rounded slices, more like a slice of meat, but still delicious af. The meat was tender and cooked evenly, nicely browned at the edges.

Yelp
I had an incredible experience at the BTP. The staff all great you with a smile as soon as you walk in. And also their initiative to single use is clear, which is impressive! The menu includes a vegan dish in every category. Along with veggie options, and meat too! I ordered the vegan veggie breakfast for under £7. My partner ordered the vegan banh mi. After we ordered we headed outside to their beautiful outdoor garden. They claim to have the largest on park street. There was a lot of seating in the sun and the shade. Our food came out in a timely matter and was absolutely delicious. They veggie breakfast was so tasty! The only thing I'd change would be to add a vegan sausage or avocado in place of the missing egg from the standard veggie breakfast. The banh mi was perfect as is! We finished our food and soaked up some son. Everything about our experience was enjoyable and we will definitely be returning!

Yelp
I went there for a nice brunch after a long walk. Amazing place and lovely tasty food! I took the Scotch Pancakes with Greek yoghurt and seasonal compote and was AMAZING. The pictures will explain what I am saying. My friend choose Eggs Florentine and that dish was delicious too (I've eaten it a little bit as well...just to write an authentic review of course!) Price not super cheap but definetily worth a visit!

Yelp
Frequented by students, dilettantes, and other sorts of layabout, the Boston Tea party is one of Bristol's better coffee shops. There's a lounge upstairs, where you can read or peer down on Park Street and do some people watching. It's the sort of place where you'll get people making a coffee last an hour and half. Don't try and get any work done here though, it's a bit too noisy for that. The comfy chairs are the prize assets of the place. Don't be surprised to see more than one person pounce when one becomes available. There's a garden out the back that's very enjoyable in the summer months, with the sound of Park Street almost completely blocked. Again good for frittering away a bit of time. Slightly slower than the usual coffee shop, Boston Tea Party is a good place to chill out with a cup of something warm.

Yelp
Amazing place for coffee and brunch! The food here was amazing (tried the chorizo hash and the sweet corn hash). So tasty, fresh, and affordable. Service was friendly and attentive and the food came out of the kitchen quickly. The drip coffee tasted excellent and gave me lots of pep for the day. Loads up seating upstairs and would love to check out the back patio when it's warmer out. I will definitely be coming back here!

Yelp
Hurrah they finally have new toilets! Although it does feel slightly more like a corporate chain now, rather than a messy, bohemian, creative, manic coffee spot for the members of the revolution. This is a chain with a winning formula and I think this is one of the first branches (?) to get it just right. It seems like the benchmark against which all other Boston Tea Party's are measured. This Boston Tea Party certainly has the most liberal, free-spirited feel of them all. Compared to these chains Starbucks feels really soulless, like having a coffee with Bill Gates instead of David Bowie. I have uploaded a photo of their message wall, where local independent businesses can stick up any ads they like. I saw one today for a life drawing class for £5!? Bargain. But do they supply an easel and paper? This wall encapsulates this coffee chain as a business. It's got a real community feel; it's very diverse, arty and creative but also manic and sometimes a bit too much. For example if you eat, don't expect to have your plates cleared before you leave. I don't think this is the fault of the staff, there just never seems to be enough of them and it is a very popular coffee shop. Although not quite the standard of coffee you might find in Milan (but where is in Bristol!?) I think they do my favourite cappuccinos in town: The perfect amount of milk (not too much), very strong and very tasty. It's nicer to sit upstairs here than anywhere else, even in the summer, as although they do have a very unique and interesting garden with a lot of seats, you won't be sat in the sun too long as it's blocked out by the tall surrounding buildings.

Yelp
When I went to sit the waiter yeeted my chair and continued to beat me.Also my dog barked 1 time and got drop kicked him out the window.

Yelp
Boston Tea Party's are popping up everywhere these days. In fact I saw one in Bath the other day which surprised me as I assumed they were still only Bristol based. It is easy to see why they have done so well for themselves. It definitely has the air of individuality about it which seems to be lacking in most other coffee shops. This particular one is located midway up Park Street making it perfect for a quick lunch stop en-route to the top of the hill. Their menu is ever changing, but they consistently keep prices reasonable which I definitely approve of. Their jacket potatoes are divine, so light and fluffy with just the right crispy skin, and with pretty much any filling you can think of. Check out their white chocolate hot chocolate, it's amazing! Be warned, there isn't much seating at all and more often than not you will have to wait at least 5 minutes for someone to leave. There is a nice area with a couple of sofas which is nice to sit down on if they are miraculously free.

Yelp
Love this cafe for a good brunch. There are lots of them around the city of Bristol. They're also all dog friendly. The corn fritters are my personal favourite.

Yelp
British breakfast is a new thing for me. It has some American touches, but there are a few things that are strikingly different (and I wish we had them here!)... My boyfriend had a delightful dish with eggs and salmon on a bagel, in a sauce. He devoured it. I ordered the English breakfast with no tomato. I absolutely loved the texture of the eggs - perfectly cooked. The beans provided a sweet aspect that I thought complemented the eggs so well. I was over the moon about this dish, not just because of its novelty, but because it was genuinely delicious. The lattes were also a thing to admire! Chain or not, you'll get a great breakfast here, and among quirky and interesting decor. Try it out if you'd like a moderately priced meal for breakfast before you hit the shops on Park Street.
google avatar

Cristy S.

Yelp
I haven't tried most of their menu but their chai latte is a warm comfort when the weather gets colder. My only issue is that the only available tables were left messy for the whole duration of our stay but both times (I usually get my chair to go) I was in just after lunch hour so hence 4 stars as it could have been just the wrong time/ staff been too busy with serving people to glass collect . It has a rustic /bohemian feel to it and the environment is quite lovely if you prefer your chain coffee shops a little quirky.

Yelp
Wow! Something that was adorable and cute when I was a student here has turned into a massive chain. Now there is a Boston Tea Party everywhere! It's so totally like starbucks of bristol. I scoff everything and anything put in front of me when hung over which would explain why I inhaled the overly salty back bacon, average sausage and tomato laid out in front of me and finished the whole thing off with weak green tea and an under chocolated millionaire's shortbread (seriously 1mm of chocolate? you kidding me?) Got incredible food envy off Z and R whole were intelligent enough to get poached eggs on bagels- runny yokes and nice looking toppings. Beautiful garden in the back and upstairs is light and lofty, so I'd say a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon reading the papers.
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
Although I regularly bemoan the spread of chain cafes, stifling all individuality out of the British high street like a caffeinated boa constrictor, I actually really like the Boston Tea Party. In fairness, the South Western chain hasn't quite reached the dizzy heights of Starbucks et al-style popularity, nevertheless, it trumps over them all with better value food, cosier decor and excellent coffee. Of the three Bristol branches, this one is undoubtedly my favourite. There's a great outdoor area round the back, and the upstairs feels like a stylised interpretation of a student living room - faded sofas, eclectic artwork and old tables. The black coffee (unlike Starbucks) is one of the best in the city, and the range of frappucinos and chai lattes are equally worth a look in. There's a huge range of drinks chalked on large blackboards and you can't really go wrong. The food is great too, it's my favourite stop-off for packaged sandwiches, which are far better value for money than the usual inspid fare. As for the cakes? Well it'd be rude to say no...

Yelp
Two words: sweetcorn hash. Ohhhhh my. It has so many of my favourite things in one bowl...sweetcorn fritters, guacamole, poached eggs, and halloumi. It was absolutely delicious. My husband had the chorizo hash but to be honest the sweetcorn hash won the best brunch award hands down! My green tea with mint was lovely, and served with fresh mint and tea leaves as opposed to a tea bag (yey!) This place is huge inside, with a hipster-type feel to the place (rustic decor, drinks served in jam jars, that type of thing). The service was really great. No complaints there. The food came out really quickly and our plates were cleared from us when we were done. Great breakfast and brunch menu with a nice selection of gluten free, vegan and veggie options too! Would recommend it to everyone!

Yelp
This place started out as a relatively unknown family run business on Park Street with a handful of dedicated followers looking for a caffeine hit on a Saturday afternoon. Oh how things can change. Boston Tea Party today is one of the most recognisable coffee shops in Bristol and it's popularity over the years has been so that it no longer resides in one simple shop on Park Street, but as a great chain of identikit establishments all over the Bristol area. It is easy to see why the popularity of this place has grown. They have a great menu which is updated and changed regularly and the food they serve is delicious and locally sourced. The staff are always very friendly and the service is excellent. The décor is very rustic, with old worn leather sofa's and local pieces of art work hanging on the walls. Despite branching out and essentially turning into a mini chain this coffee shop still has plenty of charm and character.

Yelp
Boston Tea Party is a great lunch alternative to the massive chains that cover the rest of the city. They have a professional feel, big enough to deliver quality but small enough to still focus on the customer service. Rare to find somewhere outside with ample seating to have a lunchtime coffee and sandwich so this place is a little gem in the heart of Bristol. Prices are ok, as with most places in Bristol you're looking at paying £3-5 for a sandwich depending on your taste. Coffee is great, had a mocha from there a day or two ago and they always impress. if you get chance, definitely grab an earl gray and take a seat out the back and enjoy whether its in the sun or on a cloudy day, chuck on the heat lamp - perfecto.

Yelp
Following a reccomendation from a friend I headed here with a group of friends to bring a great weekend in bristol to a tip-top fried up close and Boston Tea Party delivered on all counts. First off, the coffee is great and they have a large variety of teas and cold drinks so you can shake off your hangover with any drink you want. The same can be said of the food with Smoked Salmon Bagels, Scrambled Eggs, Croissants and of course the full on Westcountry Breakfast (Take it from me, after one of these you'll be right as rain). The outside seating area is a great feature as there aren't many cafes that can cater for large groups so easily. Finally a special mention must be made about the staff- Friendly, Competant and most importantly...easy on the eye!

Qype User (mrfris…)

Yelp
You might criticise the consciously quirky and bohemian vibe this place tries to give off, and occasionally when the service is a little brusque. However by comparison to most of Bristol's coffee-buying options, Boston Tea Party is head and shoulders above its competitors. Their blends are carefully selected and stand up as well on their own as when mixed with the perfectly textured milk reliably produced. The sandwiches are always fresh & squishy, and their pastries & baked goods are statistically successfully tempting. The prices aren't cripplingly unrealistic, and certainly worthwhile for such well assembled brews. It's a bit of a shame to have to share it with other people, but not the end of the world, and if you really can't keep your pretentiousness radar in check long enough to enjoy BTP you can always get a takeaway.

Yelp
Food is ok but nothing special, they do good coffee and their "bring your own cup" policy is a good idea

Yelp
This was recommended on Yelp and was disappointed. The breakfast was good but the cleanliness of the restaurant was not. There was chewing gum hanging from underneath the table and food on the floor. I don't like the fact that dogs can enter too and this was also clearly visible with the amount of hair on the floor.

Qype User (Bristo…)

Yelp
What you might here in the Boston Tea Party (I guess) "ooops sorry - Did I knock you? O I am sorry but you see I have just bought lunch for myself and my children Hugo, Francine and Samuel and we don't seem to be able to find a table. Would you mind if we shared with you? It is a big table and you only have a drop of cold coffee left - o look you have almost finished War and Peace..." "Do you know John this is where I wrote my last assignment for my English coursework. It is great - one cup of coffee and you can spend the whole day here - don't even need to heat the flat..." "Evie, this place is so much better than those chain coffee houses.. Everything looks a little bit more rustic - the coffee even comes in proper (washable) cups. We must be saving the world... Another Tuna sandwich Evie?" The Boston Tea Party can be found in a number of places around the country. They are all based on the same model of providing hot drinks and food in a slightly wacky (relaxed) environment. It suffers from its own success and is becoming over priced and to busy.

Qype User (ninja_…)

Yelp
The Boston Tea Party on Park Street has always been welcoming and friendly with a relaxed and quirky vibe. It isn't perhaps as smart or as sterile and soulless as some other better known coffee chains but it replaces that with a homely comfortable feel that encourages you to stay for just one more cup. They have an outside patio area should the season encourage you to use it and a fairly large seating area upstairs with the odd sofa or comfy chair to sink into. If you sit over by the window you can also access the free streetnet wifi broadcast across Bristol. The food here is worth a mention too. They mainly offer breakfasts, paninis and jacket potatoes with a few cakes and muffins on offer as well. The food is prepared fresh and although not gourmet, still meets and exceeds what you'd expect from a cafe. I particularly recommend the Rocket Science panini which has quick become one of the main reasons I love this place. The prices could do with being a little lower and occasionally they sell out of the forementioned paninis (it hurts me more than it should) but overall this is a place I'd recommend to anyone.

Yelp
Many years ago I used to live in Bristol and this was my weekly, sometimes daily haunt. It must be a good 5/6 years since i've been here so it was worth a visit for breakfast. The good news is that the changes have only been good, bigger menu, better bar layout when you get there and more flapjack choice. I still love this place, it's not as cheap as I remember it but the quality is excellent, staff friendly and the whole thing really works. For the record I had scrambled eggs and tomato with basil, 2 x cappucino's and a slice of chocolate crunch all excellent. Walk past the chains and come here :)

Yelp
Amazing cafe! Breakfast is served all day and the food is delicious. The coffee is great as well! The servers are also extremely kind and helpful :)

Yelp
This coffee shop is located on the busy Park Street in Bristol & has several eating areas a bar on ground level, an eating area upstairs & a garden out back (with patio heaters) which is great in the summer months. Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere - sofas & chairs. An ideal student hangout for the big University population. Good range of coffees & very yummy cakes. Staff are friendly. Atmosphere is very laid-back & casual. Can get very busy during lunch-hours, but well worth checking out for a mid-morning coffee break. One of Park Street's many coffee shops, but a class above the mass market chains.

Yelp
Boston Tea Party started out as a small, family run coffee house on Bristol's chic park street that offered a friendly face, great coffee and wholesome home-made cakes that were sweet enough to kill a horse. Over time, the Boston Tea Party gathered a diverse collective of customers, myself included, who were frequent flyers of what we considered a Bristol's best kept secret when it come to coffee houses. Although its success is no longer a secret, the fantastic food available in each location across the south west is guaranteed fresh and locally sourced. They have an ever changing menu and a great selection of fresh sandwiches that I highly recommended blindly selecting just to discover how great it is. I personally enjoy the egg and bacon rolls there quite often that would change your life - the egg is poached, the bacon is West Country, and the bread is fresh. We're talking Brunel Buttery standard. The staff is always extremely welcoming, and there's never been a time where I've been left feeling frustrated with the service. The coffee houses decor resembles the sort of 'rustic' reputation the company has. Old Chairs, worn sofas, local artist's pictures hang on the wall and miss - match tables are dotted around upstairs. It might not sound ideal, but you'll be sucked in by the charm of the place. If you haven't been there already, go take a look and try the white hot chocolate. You certainly won't be disappointed.

Yelp
It's a chain coffee, breakfast/brunch place but with a local feel. We went there on Saturday lunch time and had to wait about 40 minutes for our food. The coffees and smoothie we ordered was very good. In terms of food, I ordered pancakes with Greek yogurt and fruity compote, which were delicious, but my partner ordered Benedict's eggs and was quite disappointed. The portion was too small and not too tasty!

Yelp
The Boston Tea Party is right in the heart of Student Bristol, and it shows. Its staffed by studenty type cool folk, who are friendly and are darn good at making coffee! Its a lovely place to just sit and relax in, theres an outside section for the Summer months, and lots of comfy sofas for winter warmth. It is a little bit expensive, but the food is very good quality (I recommend the orange cake!) and the hot drinks are made right infront of you and taste delish!
google avatar

Qype User (mellym…)

Yelp
I feel stingy only going three stars when I am wavering on going for four but the first thing that comes to mind when I think of the Boston Tea Party is just how expensive it is. Their food is good but I don't think it merits the restaurant prices. It's a great place to stop in when out and about but I tend to only get a drink, no matter how appetising the food looks because I can't bring myself to part with that sort of cash for a quick bite. I'm cheap! But clearly the rest of Bristol is far more generous, as this place is always hopping. I do love the garden, which manages to pack in a lot of tables in a small space without feeling cramped. But there always seems to be someone hidden at a more isolated table crying when I go. Maybe it's me?!

Yelp
A quick tip if you're after some cake: if you spot a tray of homemade individual Bakewell Tarts in the cake display, order one - they are really moist and tasty!

Yelp
I came here on my first ever visit to Bristol before moving to the city so this lovely cafe and sandwich place will always have special resonance for me. I also used to frequent the branch in Bath every morning before going to my office there and would grab an amazing soya latte which caffed me right up so I didn't need to touch the dirt from the office coffee machine. The Park St branch is a little short on space and does get really busy at peak times, but it has a lovely little garden out the back which is a great place to loafe if you can get a seat. Their baristas make a great cup of coffee and they don't make you pay extra for having special needs (e.g soya milk). They do great hot food which makes this a wonderful place for a hearty lunch date but their takeaway sandwiches and wraps are also fab. It is expensive though, but you are paying for a healthier tastier option than you would get from one of the larger chains. The cakes too are freshly-baked and seductive and the zingy still lemonade is worth sampling.
google avatar

Ruby M.

Yelp
Well worth the walk out of the city centre to this lovely little coffee shop! Friendly staff greeted us at the door and I was very tempted by the rich array of cakes and slices on the front counter. Went upstairs expecting it would be cramped but it actually opened out into a huge lounge area and outdoors a beautiful garden seated area. Our vegetarian breakfasts and smoothies arrived quickly and I was very impressed with the flavours and freshness of the meal. Free wifi, reading materials and funky interior all included in this fantastic cafe!
google avatar

Dominique G.

Yelp
This is my preferred BTP in Bristol. They have a lot of seating upstairs, so it has a less crowded, more relaxed feel than the BTP in Clifton. Cakes are delicious. The lemon drizzle is a real winner, and the scones are very generously sized. The breakfast/brunch food here looks delicious, but I've not had a chance to try it yet. Definitely worth stopping in.
google avatar

Siân G.

Yelp
I'm a bit of a regular here - the lattes in particular are delicious and I love the kooky decor. The breakfasts always look and smell delicious too - I'll get round to tying them one day. A definite must visit on Park Street!!

Yelp
Now, there aint many places I can take my mum for afternoon tea at which she won't turn her nose up (she's one fussy mutha!), but here we chilled nicely in the courtyard over a pot of weak rooibos and a plate of blackberry crumble flapjacks, and she didn't whinge once. The whole thing has lost some of it quirky innocent charm since it became a HUGE south-west chain, but the ethos is still there someone (tucked inside a locally sourced sarnie, no doubt).
google avatar

Qype User (rossan…)

Yelp
The Boston Tea Party has great food and excellent coffee but it's a bit too expensive. The atmosphere is really nice, not like the normal ikea-type cafe. You can sit in the garden out the back, or upstairs, which has a few old and comfy sofas and a lot of chairs and tables of different types with not much room in between. There are pictures and paintings from local photographers and artists on the walls, and really high ceilings, which is why they can get away with the slightly cramped conditions. It can sometimes seem a little pretentious, but I think that's to be expected in a place that's so unique. If you have a good book to read and can get one of the sofas then it's the perfect place to go.

Yelp
As I understand there are a few branches of Boston Tea Party (Bristol still confuses me). They are all brilliant. Efficient and delicious food that always hits the spot, nice healthy juices and great tea and coffee, with a lovely outdoor terrace area out back (I think on Park Street) to catch some sun and feel at one with the world while tucking into your West Country breakfast. Perfect.

Qype User (sustai…)

Yelp
Always nice to see a family run business do well. I saw these guys all over Bristol. They promise to deliver ethically sourced food and the have a range of tea and coffees to match. Sat outside on the terrace and at falafel in the sun - a really nice atmostphere. Could be a little more generous with portions - even if it was only giving me little more salad to go with the scrummy falafel wrap.

Yelp
if your tired of the cliche` starbucks coffee then pay Boston Tea Party a visit , staff are friendly the drinks and food are diverse locally sourced on occasion worth the time and effort of a visit. Plenty of room out the back for a light lunch with your friends. Definitely student friendly establishment which helps being close to the university.

Qype User (amaril…)

Yelp
This is a lovely, relaxed cafe to meet friends on a weekend, chill out and read the papers. Get a seat upstairs, you get a lovely view over the hustle and bustle of Park Street and there's even a couple of sofas there too. The panini are reputedly really good (altthough with a wheat allergy I stick to coffee and an omelette if I'm pushing the boat out!) There's a really good selection of cold drinks too and the staff are lovely. The only downside would be that on busy days the system they run means that its really hectic waiting for your drinks and often a huge queue congregates around the coffee machine.
google avatar

Qype User (stilla…)

Yelp
The boston tea party has the best toasted bagels with poached eggs ever and the soy lattes are fantastic. The coffee there is very good and i definitely recommend it. It is a very studenty place but there are lots of people that go and it's not only for a young crowd. The staff are always unfriendly in terms of being indifferent and not once smiling - i go there all the time and smiling is not one of their things - but it's still great. Most other food is pretty expensive but the eggs and bagels are great. If you go once you'll definitely go again.

Yelp
The Boston Tea Party along Park Street is not only easy to find, it is an essential find. For all those coffee and tea lovers, The Boston Tea Party provides excellent customer service, with an array of herbal, loose, fruit and oriental teas and coffees. The Boston Tea Party attracts quirky individuals who have specific taste in tea and coffee, and so upon entering I knew what I was looking for: spiced chai tea. When I received my order, a teapot and large teacup was given to me on a tray, accompanied by sugar and creamy milk. Opening the teapot, I noticed a sieve filled with freshly spiced chai tea, loose and full of exquisite smell, with a combination of water and hot milk, spiced beautifully with cinnamon. The combination of these flavours into my teacup was sublime, and I had to resist ordering seconds. The Boston Tea Party is superb quality for the price, and is rather average in price as far as coffee shops are concerned. A simple shop inside, it is clear their main priority is providing sublime teas and coffees, rather than overdecorating the interior. An absolute must-visit, it is perfect as a last minute coffee shop to visit, or a planned trip with a group of friends. My recommendation would be to visit The Boston Tea Party with a nice novel and order the sublime spiced chai tea for a warm experience that will be luring you back for more.

Yelp
The Boston Tea Party is the anti-thesis of franchise coffee houses beginning with S. It has a homely appearance, sources some of its' produce from local areas. This shop is not cheap but because it does not have that franchise-look, it does not feel corporate and therefore becomes cosy.

Yelp
The Boston Tea Party is a coffee house unlike most others in Bristol. It has a great laid back atmosphere where amny people come just for a quick bite, to catch up with friends, sit and read the paper and it is even a great venue for informal meetings. The coffee is good, as is their large range of teas, and the food is always or a good standard. It ranges from full breakfasts to salads, hot meals to sandwiches, and in the early evening all the sandwiches are reduced to half price.

Yelp
One of Bristol's best-loved cafes, lovely place for coffee, cake, brunch or lunch. The menu consists of the usual brunches (of which the West Country brekkie is the best) as well as paninis, salads, soups and specials. The takeaway sandwiches are really good too. The original Park St branch is my favourite, with the large, quirkily done-out upstairs seating area and terraced garden always buzzing. The new incarnations in Clifton Village and Whiteladies feel a bit soulless in comparison.

Yelp
Good place to spend a long time over a cup of tea, so long as you can find somewhere to squeeze in upstairs (or in the garden out the back). They do a good range of substantial sandwiches, excellent teas and coffees and their cooked food can be nice (although I don't rate their veggie breakfasts). Don't rely on speedy service from the kitchens - even for take-away food.

Yelp
I visited this cafe on a summer weekday and the upstairs was quiet, the furniture rustic and the wifi flawlessly reliable. A few people sat with their smoothies and coffees working away on their laptops or curled up on couches reading their novels and the staff didn't seem bothered. The feeling here is arty and informal. The one downer is that the food menu towards the expensive side but you really are paying for quality.

Yelp
I visited the cafe with my husband today on a day trip from Cardiff and after visiting the cafe before had decided to revisit. Although the menu was as reliable as before we were disappointed with the service and quality of the food. We entered the cafe around 2pm and were ravenous, we were then told it would be 25 minutes before we would get our order (Jacket Potatoes). At first we did not mind this and accepted ou number and ventured upstairs. After a few moments I could see that upstairs was relatively quiet and wondered why it would take 25 minutes to cook two simple Jacket Potatoes. Secondly when we did get our JP's mine was hard in places, basically undercooked, and only luke warm, we decided to not complain because all that would have happened was it would have been nuked in a microwave and we had waited long enough anyway. We finished up and decided to try somewhere different next time. Disappointed!
