Bosu's Wine Shop

This was the only patio we could find open today with sun! It turned out to be a great stop. Some exceptional Italian wine for only 8.00 a glass! And after a couple we tried the pepperoni hot honey flat bread, which I couldn't stop eating. It was so good! Great service by the owners, and a memorable time. We will be back!

Bosu's is one of my all time favorites. I have been coming here since I moved out here, and love the wine shop AND the little tasting kitchen next to it. Tasting kitchen with wine flights and beer is only open a few days a week, but it's worth it. Menu always changes. But if they have the ahi nachos, get them!

The wine is excellent and sourced with great care. Brian is a food genius, period! If you love seafood, I highly recommend the tuna poke nachos and the crab and shrimp stuffed mushrooms. I cheated today and snuck in a miso smash burger...and I was in heaven. Be sure to leave room for their tiramisu. Can't wait to go back....

Stumbled upon this hidden gem in the cute town of Waynesville. Pleasantly surprised by the intricate and robust selection of wines, the fun menu of deliciously prepared culinary delights and, last but not least, the all too rare warm and welcoming service. We must return soon to try the dinner specials!

Wonderful place for wine flight tasting and small plate snacking! Owners and staff are friendly, helpful, professional. Food was EXCELLENT, especially recommend the warm pimiento dip and the onion soup, but everything was great. Will be back!

Best customer service and super friendly. Highly recommend them. It is worth the 40 miles one way it takes me to get there. They have really neat and unique gifts for anyone in the family.

Busy spot a few blocks off of Main Street. Very personable and attentive staff. Best wine selection for sure! Food service was good. Although my Smash Burger was too salty by far and really smashed. Cheese plate was delicious and generous in it's portion. I think a Frog Level brew would be a nice addition to the beer list, I am partial to that local (around the corner) brewery though

Local family owned business that has an array of wines. Flights and bites on Thursday and Friday nights is great, along with their monthly wine dinners...good people!!

Love this place!! Get a wine flight. Love the pimento cheese. So good and the pita squares are amazing. We got the pan fried gnocchi and brussel sprouts. I would get them both again. We ordered the chili glazed salmon bites that were delicious and not spicy. We also got the caprese flatbread- good but probably wouldn't get again. Last but least were the kofta beef kebabs. Not my thing but probably the least popular at the table. Owners are awesome , experience is fun! Will definitely be back.

Very large wine selection. Owner has wine selection organized by the grape, not by the region-so it took a while to browse the hundreds of bottles of wine. Wide price range. The do offer food and entertainment. The staff was helpful.

Great wine shop for Waynesville and so reasonably priced as well. Owners are super Knowledgeable about both food and wine...and so friendly as well!!! Make sure you check out The Wine tasting - it was fabulous! We loved the detailed explanations and the pours were very generous. The variety of menu items and all of the unique flavors they create is just fantastic and done with much love and creativity. We loved sitting outside on a comfortable evening trying many of the small plates to accompany the various wines. One of the owners, Strick, also helped us pick out some delicious bottles to purchase in the store and take home to enjoy. We have been back a few times and will be back again!

Bosu's is open during the Covid crisis, but unfortunately, can't offer the Thursday evening tastings. As soon as they become available again, GO! The do a great job! I held a Retirement Party for my husband here last week. We had a private room, The Library, and had a wonderful time! The service was spot on and the food was amazing! I couldn't have been more pleased.

We love Bosu's and visit frequently. Great selection in the bottle shop; lovely patio for wine flights; delicious light bites and delightful people.

As always, Bosu's small plate entrees did not disappoint . My group had the Steak Bruschetta , stuffed mushrooms, oysters Rockefeller , beet salad, and empanadas . Every dish was hot , delicious and beautifully presented. The wine flights and beer selections were A+ to compliment our food. Great evening with our family. Thanks Bosu's!

Nice spot to try and enjoy a small plate at. The lamb chops are a must! Wine selection is wide and varied. Tasting flights of wine are offered. I am a wine person, so I know what I like and do not, they have a few wines by the glass that are enjoyable. Trendy spot and the place is popular, go early and enjoy the patio when the weather is nice.

Instantly knew we would have a great time at Bosu's Wine Shop in Waynesville, N.C. Our hostess told us there was a weekly wine tasting that evening which would be a fun event. She was correct. Immediately upon entering we saw the room was filling up with people talking and laughing and sampling the evening's wines. We snagged one of the few remaining tables and were soon greeted by an owner. We ordered the tasting which was very reasonably priced. We received each wine in the tasting accompanied by a thorough explanation of the wine, why it was chosen and interesting tidbits about the blend and the winery. The pours were very generous. We ordered a baked brie to snack on and settled in to enjoy our wine flight. Each wine that Bosu's selected was delicious. We enjoyed a relaxing evening and had a great time at Bosu's Wine Shop. As we were leaving we spent time browsing in their wine sales area. The store is really well stocked and the prices are good. You can instantly tell that the owners/staff know, understand and love great wines. We will certainly return to Bosu's Wine Shop anytime we are in the Waynesville area.

This place is a unique little wine shop that pretends to be a Resturant. I mean that in the most endearing way as that is a direct quote from the owner. They offer these really cool wine pairing events on a regular basis. They are always enjoyable and educational. Great wine selection as well.

Fantastic, unpretentious but knowledgeable wine nook (that I learned has been there for years and years). Really friendly staff and just felt kinda homey. Great wine bargains too. A $10.99 bottle of Syrah that would rival a $40 bottle. They know the vintners too - owner was going to Italy to meet a few of them. Definitely a gem and will be back.

What a great little wine shop! We wanted some picnic supplies for the Smokey Mt. Nat. Park. Maleah, the owner, helped us pick out some great wines. We also bought gourmet cheeses, olives, and crackers all by the pound. What a wonderful find!

Went to Bosu for the Thursday night 5 wine tastings for $5. That is correct...5 generous tastings for $5 along with enjoying some of their delicious small plates such as steak bites, shrimp and grit cakes, baked brie. There was live music on the patio and it was fun evening. Went back for Friday night jazz and sat in the library to enjoy wine and food and peruse the great wine list. A truly delightful place with a friendly and efficient staff and very knowledgeable owners who are ready to help with recommendations.They are now starting a wine club. Get on their email list, so you that you are in on all of their happenings.

My favorite wine shop in town. A truly great spot with exceptionally knowledgeable and kind staff. They will even keep of a record of your purchases with your feedback on each in order to make more personalized recommendations. Although they are a business, the owners are devoted their shop being a place for community and it's always nice to buy a glass and sit at their small bar or table and chat either with the friends you brought or the friends you make while there. They offer small delicious nibbles (small plate of hummus, cheese, fruit, pate, crackers etc.) and are currently expanding into the adjacent space to include a wine bar and dining space. Saturdays are a great time to stop by because they always have a bottle or two open and are handing out free samples.

Beautiful new remodel and the staff is great! Great selection of wine for a small town store! Love being able to shop locally!
