Bosworth and Son Store

Had a fun experience customizing the design of my hat. They were super nice and helpful. The process was easy, you just make a reservation, walk in and after selecting your hat, you can choose from the large selection of accessories to personalize your hat. Had so many compliments when wearing my hat it out. Highly recommend!

Great family and friendly service, I got a few of my christmas items for family there. Also a great display of Geyserville history in the back.

One of my favorite place to shop. It’s the best store I grew up going to and still love to go to whenever I visit town. It also has amazing museum inside that holds rich history of Geyserville. Be sure to check out their custom hat as well!

If you are interested in history, it's a must visit! Very kind owner(5th generation) a lot artefacts and a collection of Winchesters.

Great selection and prices. Super friendly staff too. Probably the reason they have been in business since 1911.

Super old style general hardware and drapery. Everything from a needle to an anchor! Really friendly family service and good for a chat.

Where else can you go to buy a hat and they steam the brim straight? Bought a lovely wide brimmed straw hat to get me through the rest of the summer!

11/12/2022: Bosworth & Sons isn't JUST a retail store; it's a museum, too! Heads Up: In addition, I noticed Dry Creek Photographs are requesting if, a family has photos from the 1800's to mid-century for the depicted surrounding areas around Cloverdale to Geyserville CA, would you please share your photos and artifacts, too?

If there were a picture in the dictionary for Hardware store, Bosworth & Son would have that real estate dialed. This place is classic. I mean where can you go and pick up a big old Stetson hat, a can of chew, and some aluminum siding. I'm even fond of the way the floorboards creak as you enter in from G-Ville road. It smells like a hardware store should, kinda musty, like leather.... Bosworth & Sons is my kinda joint. I'm not hating on Fredriksen's, but old Bosworth's is like the real deal Holyfield.

Bosworths is a place where you can step back in time to when the owner of the general store will sell you a hinge, a pair of shorts, and some bag balm (be sure to ask for a screw with that hinge). The local liars club holds almost daily meetings here so be sure to bring your sense of humor and wear some BS repellent when you shop at Bosworths. All kidding aside, Bosworth's is a great place to shop---they have an eclectic collection of items from the most practical to the most whimsical---a very satisfying place to explore!

I bought a hat here two days ago from Gretchen, who was lovely. I have gotten more compliments on that hat in two days than anything I've ever worn, including my wedding dress.

A REAL old-time General Store! It's like stepping back in time 100 years. We met Harry the other day when we needed information about a relative's grave site, and danged if he not only KNEW the Sten family buried there, he was able to draw us a map of exactly where the grave was. Harry oversees Olive Hill Cemetery now, and it is in good hands, let me tell you! If you have a question about any one or anything in the Geyserville California area, Harry is your man. If you want quality hats, work gloves or other leather goods , or something to fix a broken screen door, Bosworth and Son is the place to go. I could go on an on about what is in Bosworth and Sons, but its best that you make time to visit it and see for yourself. My partner and I are SO glad to hear that the store will be passed down to a 4th generation some day, hopefully not changing a bit! Thanks a million for your help, Harry, as well as a pair of the finest, softest, perfect-fitting work gloves I have ever owned. :)

This place is a treasure! Hats and cloths in the front and a well stocked hardware store in the the back. Makes you feel good going inside because this is a true small town, small business with sole. But don't just go in to look and enjoy. Buy something, anything, a stetson, a bag of nails or some electric fuses. I want this store to remain well into the future because we have lost too many across this country like it.
