Banh Mi here is very tasty but the bread is a hit or miss. Sometimes it’s crisp and soft and other times it’s definitely more than a day old hard as rock. If it’s crisp and soft it’s a 5/5 but when it’s hard as a rock it’s not enjoyable as much and the crumbs get everywhere. But for $4 assorted meat spicy version is still a steal of a deal. You can get normal or spicy, spicy isn’t that spicy. They put a decent amount of veggies in to balance things out. The pate is what sounds out here. It is very flavorful and creamy and they actually put in a decent amount. Most places cheap out and it’s a little thicker. I really enjoy this place because of the creamier style pate. Probably one of the better pates I’ve had in Mississauga. For the price at $4 it’s definitely worth a try. It’s located in the Chinese Centre on Dundas in Mississauga. There is no dine in. It’s just a grab and go spot.

We travel all the way from Rochester NY in the United States a three hour drive to get these Banh Mi for $4 ca each. They sell out sometimes, so we order ahead but they have other authentic Vietnamese treats there. My family has been going there for years, wonderful hardworking people. The Banh Mi is best toasted and eaten at home as a snack.

If you love Bahn Mi add this place to your list. It’s a great option for a quick lunch. I ordered sandwich #1 which is the cold cut meats. Wanted to get grilled chicken but they didn’t have chicken to serve. My sandwich didn’t have pate, and needed more cilantro. But the bun it self is incredible. So light, so crisp, so fresh. Would recommend!

I haven’t had such a tasty Vietnamese bun for so long!!! The bun itself is super fresh and crispy, the ingredients inside are just the right portion and the chemistry is amazing and it’s only $4!!! I regretted that I didn’t buy extra…

Best Banh Mi around! The French bread is incredibly fresh and crispy. Even when I re-toast the bread the next day! Buy 10 and you can get 1 free! Highly recommend!

Had a terrible experience at this place and strongly suggest others avoid it. I got food poisoning shortly after eating one of their sandwiches, and I was sick for days. It completely threw off my week. What’s even worse is that I saw the staff handling money and then preparing food with the same gloves—no change, no hand washing. That’s a huge red flag for hygiene and food safety. The food didn’t even taste fresh, and looking back, I really wish I had trusted my gut and walked away. Bottom line: Stay away from here!! Unsafe food practices and serious health risks.

The best viet sandwiches. Very flavourful banh mi sandwishes. The best part they are very affordable, only 4 dollars a massive banh mi sandwich.

Came here to try their bot chien but they were out. Tried their banh mi instead and wow! Bread was fresh, crispy and delicious. Their pate and Vietnamese butter/mayo was outstanding.

Could have a lot more filling and flavour. Came to check out this banh mi spot since I was in the area. Decided to try this one since the last time I was in the plaza I got banh mi from the store next door. Upon walking in as a first timer, I didn't see any menu for ordering and had to ask what they offered. The menu is on the wall to the right when you walk in, which isn't a very obvious spot. Very few items here so I went with the original banh mi. Now to rate the banh mi. I will say, the bread is phenomenal. So fresh and crispy. However, what failed imo was the amount of filling in the banh mi itself. It lacked so a lot of pate, butter and was really skimpy on the meats. It didn't really have a lot of flavour as I'm use to from other banh mi shops. Such a bummer since it looks so authentic and seems like they could have so much more potential if they didn't skim on their fillings.

How is it possible with inflation, the cost of living, and housing prices that you can still find a sandwich in the GTA for less than $5? @ Bot Chien Saigon, the banh mi here is either $4 for the signature of $4.50 for the rest. There is no tax added to the sandwich, so it really is under five bucks! I would give this place a higher rating, but I couldn't because of sanitary reasons. I saw the lady making the banh mi with gloves on and then collecting money and change WITH THOSE SAME GLOVES. I did not feel comfortable that she was stuffing my banh mi with the same gloves that she touched money. Maybe this is okay in Vietnam, but not in here in Canada with our health code. Also, the inside of the place was a bit warm, but I was surprised that the sandwich fillings was really cold--at least the food is kept in the right temperature. Overall... there are other banh mi places in the plaza and I'll probably check those ones out before coming back here. Sanitation is very important and I hope the owners would take this review seriously.

As a regular of the shop a few shops over, I decided to try this and am glad I did. A total convert now. On the occasions I've been, I have ordered the assorted banh mi with chilli and it's so tasty. The bread has a lovely crunch and is fresh. The filling is very much the standard cold cuts but tasted really nice with the various textures. For about $4/sub it's a great deal nowadays. Takeout only.

One of the Viet Banh Mi store in the Sino Mall. The service was very quick and the bread already half premade. However, there is no table to sit down but you could sit and enjoy the banh mi in the pagoda shelter or the food court inside the supermarket. The price was very affordable, I think it was $4 for the banh mi that we got. It very quick and easy and affordable meal.

I was walking around the Sino Mall and my sweetie wanted to look inside this Chinese Vietnamese restaurant. Staff make and package sandwiches and other food treats onsite. The sandwiches menu was in Vietnamese so staff had to explain what the choices were. We selected the house special 12-inch sub for $3.50 which proved to be very tasty. The other two packaged items for $7.00 each were also good. Cash Only, was one of a few English signs.

My favourite choice place for Vietnamese bánh mì in Mississauga. Price is amazing with very generous amount of meat. Highly recommend it! (But 10 get 1 free!)

This is where I go to get my Vietnamese assorted banh mi fix. The layers of cold cut meats, pickled carrots, cucumbers and cilantro are the right amount. It's quite creamy so I always tell them to cut back on butter. The picked carrots can be a bit more pickled so that the sourness can compliment the banh mi better. Otherwise, the banh mi is delicious and you can't go wrong with $3.50 banh mi. They also sell other Vietnamese desserts and fried turnip cake (which appears to be quite popular). Next time I'll definitely have to give their other menu items a try.

Came here on a weekend and the place was buzzing... It is very disorganized. Service is terrible. The one lady at the cash tries to do everything but take control of the sequence of orders. People coming into the store were jumping the queue and causing arguments with other customers. This place needs some sort of process to better handle ordering. Otherwise, the banh mi's are good but not worth 20 mins of headache!

I love there food! They have the good Banh Mi but what I really LOVE is their Bubble Tea! I suggest the Taro Bubble tea

I went to the restaurant today. I wanted to buy a drink for 2.5 dollars and only have changes (1 Loonie, 3 quarters and the remaining are in 5 cents or 10 cents). But the cashier refused to accept 5 cents and 10 cents. I felt very embarrassed to give her the drink back. I won't go back to the place any more.
