Bot Uddom Guesthouse

Quiet, friendly and clean. Amazing shower pressure - almost took my head off!!! $8 for a large room with a fan with 2 double beds, $15 with air con. Very happy and would highly recommend. Also if you like morning time, beautiful view from the terrace and space for yoga practice 🙏

Standard cheap cambodian affair. Huge rooms with fan are 30k riel. They are worn out, but still usable. Cable TV and wi-fi included, although signal of the latter was erratic. Only cold water in my room. There were lots of power cuts in the evening, they had a generator though. On site parking available and staff was fairly nice, but no english speakers. Not sure if I'd stay again, but I think other places in this shabby town are very similar :)

We checked out the few other accommodations in Anlong Veng and were glad we decided on the Bot Uddom Guesthouse. We stayed on the 2nd floor in the annex. The room was a good size and clean. Off the hallway there is a balcony where you can look out onto Ta Mok Lake. This open, airy feeling was the main reason I chose this accommodation versus the others which had a darker feel to them. (Just don't go to the railing and look down unless you want to see rubbish). ||||The free wi-fi works best on this balcony and in the annex's lobby.||||As the Hotel does not serve meals we found a great outdoor Thai/Cambodian restaurant (one of my best meals on our 3 week trip) across the street where we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner.

I stayed at the Bot Uddom Feb, 2020 while bike touring northern Cambodia. Room was good, shower was ok and bed comfortable. WiFi was very good. Room was spartan, TV has English channels, no fridge in room. I am actually planning on returning to Cambodia to bike tour again (if they allow fully COVID vaccinated foreigners into the country without paying thousands of $ for quarantine) and will stay again at the Bot Uddom guesthouse. Very nice people.

So much mold it made me sick !!! Bathroom / room walls could be cleaner, after being in the room for a bit it smells like mold that I didn't notice right away. Spit marks on the wall , mold on ceiling in bathroom. Did have clean bedsheets and soft foam mattress. Friendly staff! Closer to a $5 room then $8. ( I thought it included ac for $8 but it does not )

The guest house is in town, easy to reach restaurants and tourist sites. Costumers can propose the receptionist to prepare for the Taxi or Motor rental to visit historical sites. The owner of the guesthouse is willing to give information as be questioned by the guests.

Very good guesthouse. Immaculately clean and spacious. Nice big verandahs for evening relaxation. Several good local restaurants and food stalls nearby.

Acceptable doss house /crashpad when your on the road .2nd floor rooms appeared to be less dirty than the ground floor .The managers bar makes up for any squalor .
