Quite small portion even tho it claim to be a full “one portion” Pork skin is not crispy, it’s chewy instead Soft pork meat tho No seasoning whatsoever on the chips The sauce (assume that it’s black pepper based) is too salty Service is so so Cash only (they will inform you before going in don’t worry) Update after the owner’s response: For the record, I should mention that the portion sizes (in grams) are indicated on the menu. However, I have some doubts about whether I received the correct portion size, as i pay for the one portion’s price. Could you please clarify if the portion in the picture is half a portion or a full portion? Thank you 2nd update: to the owners, Thank you for letting me know. I hope you have a great day.

In the most unlikely of places, between Oriente and Moscavide, in between ruins right at the main train track, entering through a the front door of a typical house in a former bairro operário, this tasca specialised in Bairrada type leitão, offers informal service in a refurbished ambiance with one large sala giving the locals a clear view to the TV and tourists. We were 2 for lunch that had the delicious olives and fried starters, a good serving of piglet with a mixed salad and fries with a good red wine from Dão, a bolo de bolacha and a mousse with coffees and waters for €40/pax.

Hands-down the best roasted suckling pig I’ve ever had. This is a tiny second-generation family-owned restaurant hidden away in the side streets outside central Lisbon. Not easy to find but definitely worth the effort. The family has been roasting their pigs in-house daily for 40 years! They only open for 3 hours on weekdays (12-3pm) and only 1 hour on Saturday. They only speak Portuguese (and luckily for us, some French!) but since you really only need to decide on portion size and whether you want salad (you do) and drink (sparking wine or soda), it’s doable without too much communication.

Piglet is good. Waiters are nice and helpful even you are not local. Hidden menu chicken liver rice.

Overall I would rate it 3 stars ⭐️ here: 1 star ⭐️ is definitely rewarded to the food itself. Traditional Portuguese Roast Pork, quite tasty. 1 star ⭐️ is because of the price. The quality/price ratio is reasonable and affordable. The last star ⭐️ is given to the location, easy to find via navigation/google map, and easy to park cars (and free of charge).

Roasted suckling pigs, yummy. This is a place for the locals so you won’t find tourists here :) Don't let the location deter you. It's very convenient to take uber to/from here and the boss is fluent in English.

Came here for the suckling pig only. Not disappointed. Very tasty and crisp. Salad and potato crisp were good. In fact they are the specialist for roast suckling pig. Good portion too. Lunch time only. Suckling pig sold out if you are too late.

We come here by Uber, however, we were told no grilled pork available at 1230 hrs....all pork were reserved. Only veal chop is available....ok ...we tried.... amazing good with a bottle of wine. We were offered to make a reservation for pork to tomorrow.....wait and see. We come back for the roasted pig.... Very delicious..worth to come. Also easy to get from Public transport...drop off at Oriente station and 5 mins walk as directed from Google. Good food and easy local going atmosphere. Remember to reserved the pork ahead.

Yelp
I was traveling with a group of friends, and one of them wanted to have Portuguese suckling pig. When I looked it up, that send to be more of a dish in the north, and we were in Lisbon for one day. I found this place from a Google search, and it looked promising. We got there soon after they opened at noon, and luckily got a table. The menu was simple. You order however many portions of suckling pig. We ordered 6 for 6 of us. It looked like a lot, but some pieces were bony, and we finished the platter The pig comes with a plate of chips. We ordered a salad, and paired it with sparkling wine because that's what I read that it's usually paired with. The pig is a bit bigger than the suckling pig that I have had in Hong Kong. Everyone in our group loved it, and I definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
As advertised. Simple, but amazing roast suckling pig, salad, and crisps. Despite our Portuguese illiteracy, three staff was lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend for that pork fix.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing, perfectly seasoned suckling pig. The pig's head is the best part, if you don't mind digging around a bit for the meat. Hardest part is finding it, but if you leave from the mall you can cut through the apartment complex up on the hill (look for stairs on the right side of the street).
