This was a birthday treat and we’d traveled from London. The welcome/check-in experience was exceptional and the team warm and friendly. Our room (202) was ridiculously clean and perfectly maintained. Gorgeous bathroom, luxurious linens and towels. Lovely birthday treats in room. Loved the bar. The breakfast was top notch and then some. The only thing I didn’t like was the traipse from our room to the spa. Seeing anyone, let alone me, wander by the restaurants and bar, then through reception - all in a bathrobe - isn’t for the feint of heart! Undoubtedly a five-star experience nonetheless.

We checked out Antwerp & stayed at the Botanic Sanctuary only for a couple of nights. As a swimmer an important feature when we stay at the best hotels is a pool. And the Botanic Sanctuary did not disappoint. Perfectly sublime 👌 The breakfast buffet was also a treat with a wide assortment of goodies to choose from. 😋 Making it unnecessary to order any other plates. Harry's Bar was very comfy with lots of cushy couches and swirly chairs with fluffy pillows. A great place to finalize your evening with after dinner drinks before retiring to your room. The rooms were romantic... we stayed in the Monastery rooms with high ceilings and original wood slat rustic ceilings. More comfy furnishings & fluffy pillows make it so relaxing. And the downy duvets & crisp linen bedding allowed for undisturbed sleep & deep dreams. Hoping your stay is a nice as ours was.... Enjoy!

From the moment we arrived, the doors were opened for us, our suitcases were taken out of the car, and we could simply walk inside for check-in — it already felt like a celebration on its own. Inside, everything was decorated in a Christmas theme, which I loved, and the check-in was smooth with a glass of bubbles. For the rate, I found the room very small, although the bathroom was spacious, and I thought it was a pity that I couldn’t dim the large spotlights in the bedroom. On Friday evening, we enjoyed a lovely drink in Henry’s Bar, and on Saturday morning we had a wonderful and extensive breakfast. We were also allowed to leave the luggage in the room, and it was later collected and placed in our car. Excellent.

The hotel itself is lovely, very comfortable, and a perfect quiet place for work and rest. The entrance makes a beautiful first impression with real plants and greenery. However, once inside, it becomes quite noticeable that there are many fake plants and artificial flowers throughout the interior, which was a real turn-off. This felt especially contradictory for a hotel named Botanic and located right next to the Antwerp Botanical Garden.

Wonderful Sunday Brunch at Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp ! good quality food, super friendly staff. We have a very warm welcome at the front desk and very helpful staff during the brunch. Keep Some space for the dessert, it is amazing! The only thing they can improve is to understand what is means to be vegetarian, I commented that 1 person is vegetarian, unfortunately all starters on the table are all meat / fish, I told the server my husband is vegetarian but he stated the they are not for him, and that there is some salad/sidedishes he can try.

Very nice hotel with one of the best breakfast we’ve ever experienced. Bar was good and frequented by Insta girls. Decent spa but our St Juris room was far from it and we didn’t enjoy going through reception with our robes.

Hotel very well located. A beautifully executed renovation of a former monastery. A sublime piece of architectural work. Service and attention to detail are disastrous. The botanical garden of a former monastery uses plastic plants as decoration. It feels like Shein or Temu in charge of decorating a Relais & Châteaux property. An offense.

The property is both historic and beautiful created and maintained. We did not have time to appreciate their two Michelin Star restaurants but the breakfast will fit anyone's taste's and a wonderful start to the day. Above all, the staff it incredible and insures each guest has their best experience. We will definitely return.
