This hotel is a great place to stay. The setting is sumptuous and comforting. My junior suite (#209) was beautiful and well looked after by the staff. |I particularly recommend breakfast at the Botanic Sanctuary : the food is served through a menu and a buffet. Great quality and service in a beautiful wood paneled room. |Another recommandation : the spa which provided me with a soothing massage (195€) in a particularly serene atmosphere. |My only disappointment was having dinner at Henri's Bar (one of the four restaurants which are part of the Sanctuary) : the setting in the outside garden is nice but the food quality is just average and much too expensive for what it is worth. When I went there the service was mediocre. I would avoid it because it can spoil your stay.

Very nice high tea with lots of different savoury and sweet items. Every item is so beautiful and has sometimes unexpected taste experiences. Service was good. Price - quality great value. They are not pushing you to buy any of the upgrades. And the Botanic hotel is an amazing place in the centre of Antwerp

Simply brilliant! Elegant, luxurious but not pretentious. This hotel is spread across lovely grounds and has a very nice and unique feel to it. The restaurants are extraordinary. Service was very good from the minute we arrived until we departed two days later. The breakfast room was beautiful and I had possibly the best Eggs Benedict I have ever eaten. It is in a great location and very central, yet it felt like its own little oasis.

A True Sanctuary in Antwerp – Flawless Stay||Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp truly lives up to its name. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality set the tone for what turned out to be one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had.||||The facilities are beautifully maintained, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable. The breakfast buffet was a standout — everything was top quality, fresh, and thoughtfully curated.||||Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a luxurious base to explore Antwerp, this place is an absolute gem. We highly recommend it and would return in a heartbeat.

The most beautiful hotel experience in Antwerp!||We stayed at a 5-star gastronomic resort housed in a beautifully restored 15th-century monastery — and everything about it was truly magical. The hospitality was unmatched, and we felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived.||Our junior suite was serene and elegantly designed, with earthy tones, luxurious textures, and custom-made furniture that made the entire space feel like a retreat. Every morning, we woke up to the most stunning breakfast spread, filled with fresh, healthy options and beautifully presented dishes. 🍳🍓||The Botanic Health Spa was the ultimate wellness escape — a calm, 3-floor sanctuary with an indoor pool, relaxing treatment rooms, and peaceful corners to unwind. It’s where botanical wellness meets sustainable luxury, all set in the heart of the Antwerp Botanical Garden. 🌿💧||A heartfelt thank you to Pepijn at the reception for the warm welcome, to Sharon and Sofie for their kindness and attentiveness during breakfast, and to Joyal at Delvaux for the lovely service. Your smiles and professionalism made our stay even more memorable!||This hotel isn’t just a place to stay — it’s an experience that stays with you. ✨

Do not waste your time at their spa. I booked a massage as a birthday treat and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, when I arrived, adina the lady at the reception was very rude she directly asked me to pay (the focus seemed to be only on the payment) and I did, right after that she told me I was late and i would not be getting the full experience nor the full service I paid for. Instead of being welcomed and cared for, I felt dismissed and stressed, which is the opposite of what a spa experience should be. Her approach was unprofessional and unnecessarily harsh. I asked to be speaking to the manager who never called back or tried to find a solution. Not really worthy of a 5 star hotel spa.

The best hotel in Belgium. Unmatched Spa and breakfast. ||A relaxing stay, expensive but worth it.||The biggest swimming pool and spa. Great fitness facilities.||And overall a very friendly and welcoming staff.

I was visiting Antwerp with my mom, and we were so excited to stay here. While the grounds are beautiful and centrally located, there were little things that frustrated us throughout our stay. While the room decor is simple and elegant, some things need fixing. Our bathroom door handle kept falling off (making it impossible to get in there), and there were a lot of exposed bathroom wires. Is it that hard to cover vents? We went to the spa one day, which is lovely, but they allow young kids in so it was tough to relax. Also, the flowers everywhere are fake, which is disappointing for a botanic sanctuary. For $300/night this would all be fine, but if you are looking for a luxurious 5-Star hotel, this falls a bit short.
