We visited in September so weren’t expecting much. However, it was still worth a visit and we really enjoyed the walk around which took us over an hour. There was still enough to see and there were a few art installations too. . I would recommend visiting here and would love to come back one day in spring or summer.

An outstanding hidden gem tucked away on the edge of Argostoli. Some fauna as well as flora. Beautifully and professionally curated to a standard that serious botanical gardens in capital cities would be proud of, and thoughtfully designed. Fully bilingual (Greek/English) information everywhere, and a steal for the €5 entry ticket. Highly recommended.

It's a lovely place to visit while in Argostoli, it's very nice and peaceful to walk around the natural space, it's mostly native plants that seed from the island, the smell of the Silvia is very strong from entering the gardens, there is colour from the thistles and an abundance of Fern and Pine trees, very informative and friendly botanists and horticulturists.

A glorious natural layout with the majority of ionian flaua displayed.
Lovely guide at entrance who spoke good English.
Be aware that if using a sat-nav, there is a rough track from above that is barely drivable. Keep to main roads unless in a 4x4.
