The food is always great. We were there with a party of four this week and we ordered dinners for all. The table was too small for the dishes that the food came on and the music that was playing reminded me of a strip mall massage place. Something with a more energetic vibe and more thematic (Brazilian) would have gone a long way. The waiter was nice, but not super engaged and went missing for some long periods. Overall a good experience!

Service was so bad. Just spent $300 on dinner. Took 20 minutes to only get acknowledged and then seated and another 40 minutes to put in our order. They came with the water and drinks but had a sangria instead of Margherita. She took away all drinks to only bring back the correct one. There were either bugs in the water or some black stuff floating in them, no apologies, just another 15 minutes waiting to get a staff members' attention. No water refills whatsoever. My child couldn't even go to the bathroom because there was no tissue. Almost got charged twice. Food was pretty good, too bad the service was so bad. We had a party of 6 so 20% was automatically included. So not deserved. Will never go back.

We went for dinner with friends but when we arrived we were surprised to find that it was carnaval night; which meant that after dinner the restaraunt turned into a dancing party event. It was a blast to experience. But first, the food was delicious. I've had Brazilian food before but this was really good. We ordered a bunch of different appetizers for the table instead of meals. This way we got to experience a little of everything. Only one of us ordered a whole meal which was the paella and according to him it was delicious and very savory and perfect meal size. We ordered a bunch of different drinks: caipirinha, passionfruit caipirinha, beers, and so on... the passionfruit caipirinha was amazing! My favorite was their picanha sliders and their pork belly. . The bork belly was so nice and crisp- perfection. Give it a try. The kitchen does close at a certain time and they do come around and advise ahead of time so you can place your last orders if you choose. Afterwards, they removed all of our tables and chairs, the music comes on and everyone just starts dancing. It was lovely to watch this culture love their culture the way they do. We had an amazing evening. Everyone speaks English perfectly. Everyone was super pleasant, our waiters/waitress were always around. We couldn't of asked for a better night. Thank you (Thru also have GF, vegetarian options and some of their meals do include cheese but I altered my own meals to be DF)

Classic European feeling wait staff and vibe. They were nice but not over bearing. The food was delicious. A bit pricey. The steak and egg sandwich was amazing!!!

The food and atmosphere are really nice. The service is sensational, but the prices... I found them to be out of the ordinary..

Amazing birthday dinner celebration! We had picana and so many other meals that were super delicious. Deserts are also light and tasty. We are definitely coming back here again and I highly recommend to give them a try!

We celebrated Father’s Day at this restaurant, it wasn’t crowded so we were seated quickly. Our server came to the table as soon as we sat and we were able to order right away. The caipirinhas were delicious and refreshing, and the food was just wonderful, pretty large portions and good quality meats. Stick to the beef, you won’t regret it. I think they have live music once in a while, I would call just to check. Overall we had a nice Sunday dinner at this restaurant and would definitely recommend it.

Google
The service was friendly and the greetings warm. I really wanted to give Ipanema 5 stars but I couldn’t. The decor and ambiance of the place was very clean and tasteful.. they even threw in some Halloween decorations for the season. I suppose we arrived at some transitional period from lunch into dinner at about 4pm so the food was clearly not fresh. The mussels were dry and flavorless, the rice hard and I didn’t even bother the eat the jumbo shrimp atop my plate. I really do believe this place has a lot more to offer than the meal I had.. you guys just can’t offer stale food no matter the time. I was a bit disappointed if I’m honest. Hopefully I’ll visit another day and my experience will be a bit more pleasurable.

Yelp
This is a Brazilian restaurant in South Norwalk, and it's popular. Good, fast service, and the restaurant is beautiful with plants. Food was good. You can try a lot of different things. Don't miss dessert!

Yelp
Modern ambiance and good food! Their yucca fries were incredible and the picanha was delicious as well. If you like Brazilian food definitely check this place out!

Yelp
Amazing feijoada! Decor was authentic I felt like I was in Brazil. I will be back next time I'm in the area

Haewon K.

Yelp
The food here was incredible--everything was seasoned to perfection! Every dish was bursting with flavor. My only regret was not coming with more people because most of the plates are great for sharing. Can't wait to come back and try even more of the menu! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Oh man this place has awesome food and vibe. I hapenn to stumble in here in January while waiting to meet friends for brunch. The place was packed and the samba was lit. Live music going on. Lots of laughter and dancing going on. Unfortunately that day without reservations we could not stay as there was literally not one seat available and no one was moving! This place left such an impression that we had to come back. Fast forward 4months we made reservations for brunch and came back. Oh what a contrast! No live band. No crowd. No vibe. I thought it was an every Sunday vibe. Apparently is select times where they have samba parties. However, we did have fun. We came for a celebratory birthday brunch and we had a blast. The staff were beyond attentive. Engaging and funny. I don't know maybe it was the fact that it was 4 beautiful girls. But I even made a joke about the parade of male staff that came to say hello and ask if we were ok. It was quite funny. We were treated to some complimentary Brazilian bobon candies(i took a few) our drinks were excellent. I had 2 brazilian old fashion and ordered the churrasco mixto and my friends had the piranha and steak encebollado. The sides were homemade pototatoes "chips" rice, black beans fried yuca, yuca flower and salsa. Everything was delicious. We even got a round of drinks for free(the waiter brought us a round and we had not asked for it so it was comp) Overall we had NOT one complain. The food was great. The staff were above and beyond friendly and attentive and we definately have to come back for a samba party! Highly recommend

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate our friend's birthday and although the vibes wasn't as lit as a previous Sunday it was still a good time. Food was chef kiss delicious. I had a steak and onion (Bife encebolado) and my meat was cooked medium well like I asked. It came with yuca fritters and potatoes chips. My friends got the churrasco mixto and they both said it was delicious. My sister got the sirloin ( picanha) It came sizzling hot and smelled amazing. It was cooked just like my sister asked which was medium well. Our table had no complaints about the food as it was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The drinks were also pretty good. I had passion fruit caipirinha which had the perfect amount of sweetness and still tasting the rum. My friends had the Brazilian old fashioned and a coconut caipirinha. The staff was super attentive checking on us frequently and interacting with us. This place was definitely worth the 95 south traffic jams.

Yelp
Norwalk has a growing Latin restaurant community & Boteco Ipanema, representing the Portuguese influence in Brazil, does a great job of turning out beautifully prepared plates of food in generous portions. Shrimp & rice dishes were simple but immensely flavorful with the perfect cook on the shrimp & the chicken breast with delicious lemon sauce was tender. Fried Chicken breast filets were also a big hit as were the accompanying beans . If you choose a salad as one of the options in a luncheon selection be prepared to be impressed. Fresh greens, tiny ripe tomatoes & red onion dressed in a light lemony olive oil dressing burst with flavor. Our service from Omar was friendly & helpful. As our group dined during the lunch hour, & we shared the restaurants space with just a few other couples, I can't comment on how noisy/busy this place may get on date night/weekends. Omar informed us that Fridays & Saturdays could be busy with patrons enjoying modern Latin music & that Sunday's were more laid back with music to commemorate that laid back atmosphere. Translation: the place hops with youthful 'let's party ! ' exuberance on weekends, with Sundays being more relaxed. This place is on a busy street with limited parking but there is a fee parking lot behind the building. Boteca does have both a front & back entrance, so that's convenient if you park in the lot.

Yelp
I adore Brazilian food. I wanted to like this place, and it was initially promising. Great live performer this afternoon, and it's a cool space. But we got a curb your enthusiasm episode instead. We ordered appetizers Pao de queijo and Coxinhas. The Coxinhas were solid (only the Coxinhas), and we were eager to try entrees. However, that is all we'd have the opportunity to order. Seeing we had appetizers, a server returned and inexplicably took our menus. We sat for 30 minutes until someone asked us if we needed anything. Said person checked in on the server so we could order entrees. 15 minutes later, an annoyed server came to ask if we wanted anything else... All I could do was smile and shrug it off. If you'd like someone to be annoyed at you for trying to order an entree, even if that's why someone might enter a restaurant. This is the place!

Yelp
Our family came into Norwalk for the weekend and we have been craving a taste of home with some Brazilian food. Boteco Ipanema did not disappoint. Service from the moment we arrived to our departure was top notch. They even paid extra attention to our little one and created an impromptu birthday celebration for her with the live band and brought out a bolo with candle. Food was delicious. Nothing but good vibes. Thank you so much for being authentically yourselves. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
The food here is delicious. This restaurant introduced me to picanha sliders with pão de queijo as the bun. I'll be forever grateful for that. This place is lit on Friday's and Saturday's as they have a live music. The food and drinks were really impressive but their tables my guest and I were seated at were too tiny and awkwardly placed. The food we ordered barely fit on the table and we were forced to shuffle dishes around just to make space. I really wish they would find a solution for this. The manager, front of house, and the waiter were really friendly. It was nice of them to explain some of the dishes as we were unfamiliar with a few of them even as Brazilians ourselves. I totally recommend this place.

Yelp
Very good restaurant very welcoming staff, live music was playing, waitress was very attentive and our wait for food was very short. Owner walked around the restaurant and was greeting customers asking if we were enjoying our meal which was really nice. Very nice atmosphere ambience is really nice I definitely would recommend this place. They have a location in NYC but it was closed so they opened this location in Norwalk and that was a very good decision. We will be back. Only thing that was a little upsetting is that my wife requested to wrap up her leftovers. Once we got home we noticed that we did not receive our leftovers that was a little depressing and sad. But overall very good experience

Yelp
Cute little place .. the food here is spectacular and they have the BEST guava Caipirinhas I ever had .. however service is not that good .. the girls at the bar are not really paying attention ..

Yelp
I went twice. Once it was a date with my bf and second with my girlfriends. Both times the food was delicious and we had outstanding service We are all in love with grilled octopus and croquette. Desserts are great as well. We also had cocktail made by Carlo named "Caipirinha" and I will definitely try it again next time, it was so refreshing and indeed gave us a booze. We also agreed that coffee was very good! This restaurant deserves a visit. Thank You for hosting us!

Jasper W.

Yelp
First time visiting, I had the Vatapa which although really mild it was very good. The second visit I had the paella. Sadly, it appeared to be "boxed" saffron-flavored rice. No sofrito, no safron, just mild rice with some seafood on top. Don't bother ordering the paella. It's pathetic. Great margarita though.

Yelp
Great Food nice enviroment Service is excellent!! A beautiful birthday party celebration

Yelp
I have been eyeing Ipamena since it came to Norwalk, and finally made it there! First, when it comes to location, ambiance, service, they did a great job with this restaurant. The location is just next to the movie theater, in a really nice setting. It has an industrial look, with huge fans on the ceiling, and a bar across the entire back of the restaurant. The service was friendly and helpful. We left before live music began. Now, the food. As you can see, unlike many of my Yelp counterparts, I am not giving a five star review off the bat. That is because I want them to earn it! Let's break it down. We had only two dishes, so there is still a lot of room for me to be impressed with other entrees. We began with the picanha sliders, which were a burger, hopefully ground from picanha in-house, with a cheese for which I do not know the name, sitting on a delicious Pao de Queijo (cheese bread). This was probably the best slider/burger I have ever experienced at a restaurant. While I would have preferred them a little more cooked (they were rare), their flavor was noteworthy. They were heavy, I will admit, but packed with so much flavor. The bottom because juicy, but the bread was still crunchy, and the cheese to meat to bread ratio was PERFECT. This was a 5/5. We did have a couple of drinks to accompany our meal, a passion fruit cosmo, and a caipirinha. They were both delicious. For our entree, we both stayed close to a favorite dish, the fraldinha, a skirt-steak-like cut of beef. It was accompanied by some vegetables, mashed potatoes, and a chimichurri. There were also rice and beans. The chimichurri was nice and flavorful, as were the mashed potatoes. The rice and beans were amazing (though I did find a small bone in the leftovers I took home). But, they were still 5/5. All of that said, the steak left me disappointed. I have had fraldinha at multiple other restaurants, and what really makes it a favorite cut of meat, is the unique flavor of it. This seemed to be a simple skirt steak, not the flank steak I would have liked, but I am no expert and could be wrong. But, it came lukewarm, and was a bit tough. That made it disappointing since that was the star of the meal. This is why we are at four stars instead of five. So, intend to visit again and get the picanha, and see if my experience with their steak is better. However, I will be talking about those sliders for years to come!

Ilona K.

Yelp
We had the dadinho de tapioca and pao de queijo breads, camarao a guilho (shrimp), the picanha (grilled sirloin), and moqueca de mariscos (seafood stew). The breads and the shrimp were the stars. I could eat those every day! The sirloin was good, but I would want to try something else next time. The stew was delicious, but I wish it had a bit more heat. I would get it again. The passion fruit caipirinhas were also really good! We'll definitely be back. The service was phenomenal. They helped us navigate the menu and made wonderful suggestions.

Yelp
Melhor restaurante brasileiro nos US. Recomendo bastante! A comida é deliciosa, o serviço é impecável, e a atmosfera é acolhedora. -- The best Brazilian restaurant in the US. Highly recommend! The food is delicious, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Lygia L.

Yelp
I love Boteco Ipanema not only for the food, but also atmosphere and live music. The appetizer samplers is my favorite. And feijoada is amazing!!!! So glad to have an authentic Brazilian restaurant in my town.

Billy T.

Yelp
really enjoyed the food and decor is very clean and hip. Nice job Kitchen!!

Yelp
After seeing the recommendation from Yelp about a week ago I stopped in to have lunch and all I can say is Bravo on the recommendation. Initially as we drove by I was not too excited about the place; the outside is very generic and not necessarily to inviting but from the moment we got in until we left we were truly impressed with the place-the decor, service and food! We made reservations but did not necessarily need them; we visited after lunch but before dinner. As you walk in they have a large bar with plenty of seating for dining and or drinks. The tables are properly spaced so you feel comfortable even with Covid-19 protocols. For starters we had the linguistic (sp?) a Portuguese sausage served with yucca and hot sauce. It was absolutely delicious! The yucca was perfectly fried, nice and crispy but yet soft inside. The hot sauce was a perfect companion to the sausage. For our entrees I had the skirt steak served with veggies, mashed potatoes, rice and beans. Because of my dietary preferences I asked to substitute the mashed potatoes for some extra veggies and it was not a problem. The steak was cooked perfectly and the veggies were excellent, not just a bunch of steamed veggies. They were fresh and tasted really good. My wife had the shredded chicken croquettes and she loved them! It was an appetizer serving but she was pleased with the portion. We left room for dessert and I am so glad we did; we had a passion fruit mousse which was so good! Overall the experience was excellent and to top it off because I checked in I was able to take advantage of the 15% off benefit for checking on Yelp! Definitely give this place a chance because you will enjoy your meal and the service!

Brian A.

Yelp
Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. Try the sample platter to experience the menu variety. The steak is great. Brazilian drink menu is good.

Tracy W.

Yelp
Amazing place!!! My husband and I made a reservation to announce our pregnancy to my family and the staff was more than great. They offered great recommendations for the champagne. They were welcoming, super friendly and patient with our group. They did a great job helping us announce our news. And they also gave great detail on their menu items. They treated us with desserts which was amazing, and even a couple of shots for the rest of the family. The food was very well presented and delicious also. I can't help but say good things about our experience!

David L.

Yelp
I got the sandwich to go twice, and inside the container are the fried potatoes and the sandwich. The issue is there's a napkin underneath the sandwich. WHAT? WHY? Why the hell would you do that? I'm eating the potatoes with a fork until I realize the sauce completely soaked the napkin and I'm eating napkin. No one looks underneath their food for something inedible. Don't put stuff that's not edible inside the container.

Allison K.

Yelp
Our waiter was friendly, fun and helpful. Gave us recommendations when we asked. Our appetizer was 10/10 great but our entrees were underwhelming. My husband's skirt steak came without the chimichurri sauce, and my stew was a little bland. I had high hopes given the reviews. I would consider coming back and trying some other items.

Gus R.

Yelp
Worse Brazilian restaurant in my 5 years in New England. I'm Brazilian my self and I know About it, overpriced for the quality $30 meal, I don't mind paying $50 in cape cod (Brazilian Grill) 5 stars. This place here it's 3x more money than chipotle in witch you'll eat a food more like Brazilian. 1 - meat not done on charcoal 2 - French fries not Brazilian, this clowns used potato chips from a convince store 3 - Pico de Gallo old 4 - no parking Do yourself a favor and avoid this place

Lourdes E.

Yelp
Ate here last night early- about 5:30. vVery loud but good Brazilian music and some people up dancing. A little disorganized at first- 4 different people came but no one took our order. We got the sampler appetizer which was too much food for 2 people but those sliders were so good on pan de queso! They brought 3 sauces but no one told us what they were or what to put them on. The caipirinha was excellent- lime and passion fruit! For main course, I got the bistec encebollado which was not hot but I didn't want to ruin it for my hostess daughter who was treating me do I said nothing. It came with a load of yuca fries and both orders came with rice and beans and they were yummy. Her plate came .with 3 steaks- yes, not a typo .she took 2 home. Dessert was included and it was Brazilian flan so we shared one and got the other one to go. This was amazing- large portion and perfect consistency and sweetness. Music ended at about 7 and they left- that was a little surprising on a Saturday night- why the music was on so early.

Sharon K.

Yelp
Awesome food and drinks -- the MOQUECA DE MARISCOS was filled with oversized shrimp, calamari, muscles, squid, and some other delicious white fish... served with rice and beans, the combination was awesome. My husband had the FRALDINHA which was also delicious and tender. And our drinks were perfectly made. The inside is very lively and LOUD, but the staff couldn't have been more friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Amanda R.

Yelp
Ipanema restaurant is the best Brazilian restaurant I've ever visited in the US. The food is delicious. They have a lot home made appetizers as the new Esquininha Carioca. It's amazing and very tasty. For lunch or dinner I'd recommend Bitoque. The sauce is something I've never tried before. It's so good!!! I always pick this one. Delicious food, cozy place and great service!

Eugenio Lopes L.

Yelp
I've been coming to Ipanema since the 80s and it has always been great! I just brought my wife to their new location in Norwalk and the quality is the same it's always been. Like always, I had the Bitoque and my wife Feijoada and you know what? It's even better it used in Manhattan! I'm impressed! It's sad they moved but I'm so happy they are still open. Congratulations for the new location. It's beautiful and you guys did such a great job keeping your chef and staff. I'll definitely been coming on the weekends with my family. Good luck in CT and hope to see Ipanema back to the City in the near future.

Dana D.

Yelp
I recently drove there from northern Westchester (an hour) as I'm a big fan of their NYC location (temporarily closed until Nov. '20). Hands down THE BEST Caipirinha's I've ever had, anywhere! Served in a large tumbler too. Very generous, well priced portions. Look, I could wax poetic about everything on the menu as I've had it all, but if you like authentic Brazilian/Portuguese food, get in there! And don't forget to have a Caipirinha, or two! Obrigada! The Gotham staff are more experienced and professional as Norwalk has more young kids on-staff, but they did okay. Making the trip south again very soon!

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Very impressed by the food and service! Came with a large party and everyone was thrilled with the food. Very comfortable with their COVID distancing and service. We had such a great meal. Will definitely be back! Matteos was such a great server, attentive and such a sweetie!

Julie S.

Yelp
We ate here few times when they were still operating in nyc. Norwalk location: It is delicious and more spacious in the interior. I love the tropical decor. There's outdoor patio seating also. We got passion fruit caipirinha and it was delicious. I got the mocktail and it was great:) the chimichurri steak came with fresh steam vegetables and what looked like creamed polenta? Very good. The by steak with yucca fries was good also. I got the steak with hearts of palm stroganoff. I don't recall tasting the palm but mushrooms and sauce was good. Creamy like a alla vodka. Definitely a great place for a good meal. The empanadas-- beef was the best. Cheese bread ball was very good and fresh. Desserts we had coconut flan very good. The passionfruit mousse was too sweet and heavy for us! :( Parking in the lot behind building, street meter parking, or other lots on Marshall street.

Beatriz F.

Yelp
The best Brazilian restaurant that I tried in Connecticut! Perfect food, amazing place and great service. If you want a real Brazilian experience, you need to visit Ipanema restaurant.

Ming M.

Yelp
We made reservations through Yelp which was very convenient. The food here was delicious. We tried the picanha sliders, bitoque, and prego sandwich. They were all very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The butter garlic sauce is so good. I also LOVED the fries that came with the meals- they were crispy on the outside but they were still nice and soft on the inside. We also tried the flan which was very sweet, dense and rich- highly recommend!

Thaisa M.

Yelp
Sem dúvida nenhuma ,o melhor restaurante brasileiro que eu fui nos últimos 26 anos nos Estados Unidos. Excelente comida e atendimento .

Liz L.

Yelp
My fiancé and I were so excited when we found out Ipanema moved from NYC to Norwalk which is way closer to us. We went to the NYC location a year ago and were blown away so now being located in our home state is so exciting. The food was absolutely incredible - including the bitoque, coxinhas, a new dessert they had the avocado crème brûlée. The service was absolutely outstanding. I cannot wait to go back!! Highly recommend supporting this restaurant.

Larry P.

Yelp
Beautiful new Norwalk restaurant offering nicely packaged COVID-safe take-out and delivery (within Norwalk). We're used to our friends' backyard Brazilian meat-fests featuring authentic meats, sides, and cheesy rolls, and Ipanema is a good substitute. Steaks were tender and generously portioned. The sea-bass was excellent though the mashed potatoes a bit salty. Plenty of rice and beans (the rice is a bit boring), and the cheese rolls (Pão de Queijo) were excellent. I especially liked the generous Brazilian bowls with meat, rice, beans, etc. Desserts were yummy as well, especially the Brazilian Chocolates. Main dishes are pricey but there are plenty of affordable choices. We'll be back!

Edison S.

Yelp
Service was Attentive. Spaced out setting that make it comfortable under current conditions ( pandemic ) . Food I thought was decent and a great value . Yet to bring all dishes on menu , from the old location In nyc . Coconut caipirinha was sublime . Will certainly visit again .

Eva C.

Yelp
Service good at this place but the food was ok. The steaks are well done when asked for medium rare. The music in there is too loud. The seafood paella was good. The salmon was overcooked a little.

MJ D.

Yelp
Super friendly people. Foods are well plated and full of flavors. We loved the cheese bread, jumbo shrimps in white wine, monkfish and shrimps stew. Rice and beans came with the meal were very well done too. The beer on tap reminded us of Portugal. Check out their live music as well. We will definitely go back with friends and family.

Eduardo Z.

Yelp
This review is a long time coming in a good way! Ipanema is a name some may recognize from the famous song The Girl from Ipanema or others may have actually visited this famous beach in Brazil. Long story short Ipanema physically/geographically speaking is described as Paradise by many and this restaurant rightfully deserves to be named after a place this special. The reason why I say this is because Ipanema restaurant is the best Brazilian food you can find in the area. For starters their Chef whose name is Andre is an artist from the way he carefully plates a dish is an art piece on a plate. The taste of every meal is indescribably delicious for each bite takes you away while dine, and afterwards leaves you wishing that your palette never forgets the flavors of everything you've enjoyed. Every time I eat one of Chef Andre dishes I question why this isn't a Michelin star restaurant. For those that enjoy quality drinks this place offers the best for they can make a perfect Manhattan and their selection of beers are refreshing and of unique taste. However, I highly suggest that you try one of their Caipirinhas for it is a traditional cocktail from Brazil and hopefully you believe me when I say this; it is extremely difficult to find good Caipirinhas, rarely can you find great one but challenging to find phenomenal ones, the only place you can is here at Ipanema. It's important to highlight the owners, I've had the honor of meeting both owners that being the original founder Alfredo as well as his son Victor. These two men go above and beyond to ensure that Ipanema restaurant is like the beach in Brazil that being paradise and I'm grateful with them for it. As for their management I've been quite impressed because Ipanema manager Ewerton is one of few hospitality administrators that have made an impact in my life. Ewerton works hard to make each visit to Ipanema one of a kind for on a good day he makes it an incredible day and if something doesn't go so well Ewerton knows how to turn a negative situation into an extraordinary culinary experience and I thank him for all our visits have been memorable because of him and his staff. Regarding their servers they're impeccable specially Matheus who in my opinion is a top waiter in the area and perhaps even the best for he knows how to entertain, serve as well as makes the dining experience flawless. I'd love to also shoutout Samuel/Sammy who is their star bar man for he is the genius behind Ipanema carefully crafted cocktails that just like their food they are masterpieces. In conclusion if you want to live a once in a life time experience please visit Ipanema and enjoy paradise.

Yelp
Location: just great, with plenty of parking space in the front and parking lots at the back of restaurant. Service: amazing ! They went up and beyond for me for a last minute reservation of 17 people. They were constantly checking on everyone, ensuring the table was cleaned and everyone was being served. Drinks: OFF THE CHART! Super authentic, delicious caipirinhas, variety for beer including IPA's and Brazilian beers. Price: super super reasonable! This is the place to come at least once a week or check in every weekend. Live Band: ambient music and live band -- can't beat this whole package. Thank you Mateus and staff for a wonderful time and service.

Yelp
I'm not usually the type of the guy that leaves reviews but this place has changed my mind. Being a Brazilian i can tell that this is best Brazilian restaurant that i have ever been in the U.S. The food was amazing! I had the best coxinhas ever (not even in Brazil they taste that good) and my wife and I order the BITOQUE and the was out of this world as well. And to finalize the Pudim (Flan) was to die for. The staff was amazing too! Ewerton took really well of us. Definitely recommend! Can wait to try the feijoada and the vatapá

Yelp
Had an amazing diner at this new (to Norwalk) restaurant. The owners have brought the staff from their popular NYC restaurant to town, and it is a must try! It is located at the old Spread location, but feels more open and airy. I can't wait until we can dine with the large windows open! My husband and I started with delicious drinks and amazing apps: croquettes, cheese bread, and beef cups (I don't want to put the incorrect Brazilian names!). We then ate our perfectly prepared main courses: skirt steak with chimichurri sauce and salmon. We were stuffed but tried a few of their traditional desserts and they were heavenly too! The owner, manager and wait staff were very attentive and friendly. All Covid protocols were carefully followed. We will definitely be back soon.
