We stayed in Hollow Park Cottage. A delightful rustic cottage which was warm, clean and welcoming. Well positioned for attending events at Boconnoc Hall, but a bit off the beaten track for other attractions.

The cottage is in a very remote, picturesque spot, quiet and beautiful. The beds are comfortable, there is a large well equipped kitchen and cosy living room. The cottage is off a B road and is accessed via very narrow single track lanes, with few passing places and overgrown verges so is not for the nervous driver. The handbook and guides for restaurants, beaches and activities were very useful. Tia is very helpful and responds to all queries promptly.

We stayed in Cowslip Cottage for 4 nights as it was close to a family wedding that was on a nearby farm and came highly recommended. Julie was very welcoming on our arrival and a few goodies plus milk were ready and waiting for us along with a roaring log fire!! The cottage was so comfortable and the setting was incredibly tranquil and relaxing. It had everything we could possibly need for our visit and even had a heated clothes airer to dry our washing! We enjoyed the gorgeous country views and the beds were so comfy that we all slept blissfully our entire stay! We were very sad to leave Cowslip Cottage and would be more than happy to recommend this wonderful home from home.

I suppose the best way to explain my rating for this place is to start by saying it really depends on what you want from your visit. If you like traditional cottage / farmhouse style character then you're going to love this place. If you are looking for immaculate, or in any way modern then this is not for you. Quintessential Cornish farmhouse old stone buildings that have been here for hundreds of years and will be for hundreds more. You can really get a sense of what it might have been like as a working farm years ago. The breakfast was fantastic, I decided to have the granola which came beautifully presented with fresh fruit artfully arranged on top with edible flowers. If the expression 'too good to eat' ever applies then you would use it here. It came with free-flowing tea and filter coffee and chunky toast with proper butter and selection of jams or marmalade. The event that I attended was a business get away style meeting and the fact that there was absolutely no mobile reception was a big bonus in this instance. If you've ever tried to get through an all morning meeting with a group of business owners and entrepreneurs, you will know what a constant distraction phones can be. The main house sits surrounded by beautiful countryside away from other dwellings and has useful outbuildings that are used for various types of gathering including meditation and yoga etc. Personally, I loved it. I just wish I had taken some pictures to share with you but I think you'll find that there are plenty online that give a true picture of what this place is like. :-)

We stayed for a long weekend at Cowslip cottage, an old stone cottage with a cosy wood burner, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds and amazing views. The setting is in a perfect quiet rural valley with lovely sunset views. Such a beautiful spot we are sure to be back.

We just spent two nights in Manor Cottage in the depths of winter and had the most relaxing (and romantic) break imaginable. We arrived in the pouring rain and were met by a crackling fire, sparkling lights and the most fascinating little cottage which has been in the Tamblyn family for generations. The cottage retains many original features such as the granite fireplace and the well under the kitchen floor which is lit up and has a peephole so you can watch the water trickling in when it rains. There's a stunning wooden spiral staircase with an arched window above it leading upstairs to a master bedroom with an antique brass bed draped in gentle fairy lights. What more could you want!? On our first morning we opened the curtains to a beautiful low mist that hovered over the gorgeously rustic gardens in the early sunshine and on our second night we crept out into the farmyard to look at the clearest star-filled sky we'd seen in years - we even saw two shooting stars. The Tamblyns are the most hospitable yet unobtrusive hosts, and as othe reviewers have said - there's magic at Botelet. If you need peace and relaxation, there is nowhere better to find it. We loved the whole experience.

Botelet Farm is a lovely place to stay. The rooms have a quaint charm, clean and comfortable. Julia and Tia are wonderfully helpful and welcoming. If you want to get away and relax it's perfect. Ideally placed not far from Looe and Polperro.

Lovely rustic farmhouse with various accommodations including B&B, yurt and camping. Very friendly and helpful hostess and relaxed atmosphere. My friends and I were attending a wedding at Boconnoc nearby and Julie arranged a taxi to transport us there. Beds were comfortable with sinks in each room we shared a bathroom. Altogether charming place fully vegetarian.
