Great spot for a quick snack and break while exploring the city. The portions are small, but the food has excellent traditional flavor. The tortellini with ragù are especially delicious! The terrace offers a nice view of the Two Towers, though the ongoing reconstruction takes away a bit from the atmosphere.

Pasta only after 12pm Pistachio coffee sucks, the coffee is terribly bitter and acidic and the pistachio cream was way too little to save it Tortellini dolce isn't well fried at all Coffee cream is pretty decent, although (perhaps thankfully for the coffee at this place) the coffee taste was weak Zuppa inglese is disgusting You're welcome to stay here for a long time tho, it's a huge place with many tourists

Remember the recite you get from the order terminal. You order your food, pay on the terminal and it spits out a recite. The warm food will be prepared automatically and your buzzer will buzz when its pickup time. But you need to deliver the recite to get your cold food and agin in the batboy get your drinks. Confusing for a non Italian. Guess its standard practice in Italy. This place was our favorite place. Food is good, especially breakfast. The croissants are to die for. The Nutella and apricot jam are simply amazing and soooo messy. Coffee the best in town.

Went there because i loved appearance of their pistachio croissant. The croissant itself was cheap (3€) and not that bad, but I have definitely had better ones. The filling was combination of pistachio custard with pistachio butter which was badly much rich in sugar and fatty heaviness. I had to remove part of the butter with spoon to fully enjoy the pastry. The place has an anonymous and touristy vibe. Service is not existing. I would not say it is a bad place, it is great when you need some quick snack or coffee, and chill in the air conditioned space.

Noticed this place walking by, and got curious. I ordered a portion of tortellini ragù, and got to eat it on the terrace: a nice view on the two towers is enjoyable from here. I payed 12€, but expected a bigger portion. However, taste was good. It’s a nice place for a quick recovery.

Yesterday, I had a great coffee there, and the whole experience was great. The barista suggested a new coffee with pistachio, and it was more than great. Today, the 15th of May, I went there at 13:45, there was a lady at the cashier who made this whole experience very bad. She wasn't helpful and not friendly at all. She didn't wanna work just directing people to the digital screens for orders! I really suggest the management investigate such behaviour by employees! If they don't wanna work, why are they hired!!

Very cozy, with plenty of seating both inside and outside the shop. They have a huge variety of pastries! The croissant is light yet can make you full 😂. Overall, a great place to visit!

Google
Absolute best croqsant ever. Iam a chef and its unbelievable how well are these croasant made. Regards to the staff that makes them. Its only 3 euro per piece, super cheaper. It should be at least 5 euro. Thank you Bottega Portici its been a long wait to taste such an incredible croasant, maybe the best in my life. Find me in Youtube, my channel is Chefscool, i will speak more about them there.

Yelp
Small portions of mediocre Tortellini at not bargain prices. Toilets are fetid. Hand sanitizer dispensers didn't work. Three weeks in Italy and this wasn't the worst food experience I had but it was pretty damn close. I wouldn't eat here again if the food was free.

Yelp
Disclaimer: have only had tea here, while friends had the coffee... from their as-expensive-as-a-new-Fiat espresso maker, of course. Seemed to be pretty good, with a much less-noisy, more relaxed upstairs seating area compared to the more airy, more noisy, more drink-and-dash atmosphere of the ground floor. Both felt contemporary, and the location is great if you're exploring central Bologna. The wrinkle, of course, is that Italy is the land where coffee is an art form. And friends who had the coffee, well, "seemed pretty good" still means they have stiff competition that they fail to truly rise above. 3.5*, but a more complete sampling of their menu, including the food, is needed for a proper evaluation.

Yelp
Quick delicious food served with no frills. Don't let the casual atmosphere fool you, the food is good. You just go in and order from the computer station , take a buzzer, and when your food is ready you pick it up at the counter. Water included in incredible reasonable price. I had a delicious gramigna salsiccia crema for 6 euros. Served hot and Al dente.

Yelp
The location of this place is awesome-- right in the shadows of the Two Towers. Don't miss the outdoor patio on the second floor. The food was excellent, even if the portions were a bit small. The pasta was exceptionally fresh, and the sauces were simple and delightful. We have two young kids, and I really appreciated the casual atmosphere and the ability to eat dinner here early. (Many other restaurants in Bologna I've researched don't open for dinner until 7 or 7:30.) We'd love to go back!

Yelp
Great food with fresh pasta. I went there twice and at night their view on top is nice

Yelp
Absolutely horrible. They operate everything in a military style and have completely forgotten how to represent Italian style hospitality in their venue. Two staff members go around to check your eating progress and pressure you to leave if you have been sitting for a few minutes too long. The first time I came here, I thought it was coincidence and they were learning because they had just opened. They gave me a tiny bowl of tortellini that cost double the price for the quantity you get, and the quality was like the supermarket, despite their emphasis on homemade food. I came back to sit in the air conditioning and have a tagliatelle, after more than one year. I ordered a "shot" of juice that cost 4 euros, ridiculous anywhere in Bologna, and then the tagliatelle. It was tiny and had no cheese, which is customary for all traditionally prepared tagliatelle. When I asked for more, they yelled at me "The cheese is inside". It wasn't. Plus, would it have hurt to use a little bit of politeness as you speak those words? They have zero interpersonal skills. Be warned - go to the area of Via Piella to Biassanot or Trattoria Rosso... five minutes' walk, wonderful service, much better quality food, and you will pay the same amount. Don't let them ruin your Italian experience or idea of the people here - it is not like this everywhere!
