As a Natimuk local, the National Hotel (our beloved pub) is more than just a place to grab a drink, it’s where the town comes together. Whether it’s a casual night out, a community event, or a post-climb debrief with visitors from around the world, there’s always a welcoming vibe and friendly faces.
Bill and the whole team are absolute legends. They know your name, your order, and somehow always make time for a chat, even on a busy night. Their warmth and generosity create the kind of atmosphere that makes people want to come back, locals and travellers alike.
There’s a great pool table, solid pub meals, and plenty of stories shared over beers. It’s not unusual to see climbers from overseas and old farming families sharing the same table, because that’s just how Natimuk works.
This pub is the heart of our little town. If you’re visiting, don’t miss it, and if you’re lucky enough to live here, you already know why it’s so special.
