BOUANG Asian Eatery

Yesterday, we stopped here for a drink, and today we decided to come back for lunch. Normally, we would go for an Asian dish, but the burgers on the menu sounded so tempting—and they absolutely lived up to our expectations! Both the beef burger and the vegan burger were delicious. This is such a great spot to enjoy a drink and a meal. Highly recommended! 😀😀👍👍

The place fills up pretty fast so if you want to come for lunch or dinner, you should come earlier than usual. After we went in, around 6 pm, the place was full 15 minutes later. The service was great and the food was amazing. I would recommend the mango spring rolls (it has a pretty big slice of spring onions so the taste is a bit strong) and the sausage for appetiser (this is served with sticky rice). For the main course, the meatballs were really good and served with a nice but spicy sauce.

A busy restaurant but had space for us in the evening. It has both burgers and Laotian food. My coconut fish was tasty but couldn't have used a little more seasoning. However, my husband's pork was super rich and flavourful with fragrant cinnamon sauce. Service was great, friendly and efficient.

By far the best restaurant in all of Luang Prabang. An exotic mix of flavours and textures that never disappoint. I had lunch and dinner there several times during my stay in Luang Prabang, and all the dishes were exquisite. The service was perfect and the atmosphere too. I recommend it 100%

We went to Bouang few times during our stay in Luang prabang and love it! Food is very good, we had Lemongrass Fish & this aromatic coconut sauce, so good! Burger is also very good. Cocktails are nice too and not too sweet which we really like. Price are very reasonable for the look of the place, beautiful restaurant with character. Staffs are lovely & attentive, we highly recommend to check out this place. Good vibes, good food & drinks!

Really lovely food, we had the gnocchi with green curry and meatballs. Meals are priced at about 100k so quite pricy but very tasty. Would have liked the gnocchi to be a little bigger as the bowl was quite small. They take card and cash in multiple currencies.

A must-visit spot for tourists, conveniently located in the heart of the city. They serve Laotian cuisine with creative twists—literally! (I’m avoiding the word fusion at all costs 😅). The food was absolutely delicious, with vibrant, colorful presentations—like eating rainbows packed with veggies. The flavors were so rich and perfectly balanced. My top picks? The mango spring rolls (YES, they’re amazing!!) and the tofu larb that somehow tastes like chicken!

Good food and cocktails! We got the lime chicken burger and it was so tasty!! We tried the butterfly pea margarita and it did not disappoint, it was delicious! Staff were friendly and efficient.
