BOUANG Asian Eatery

It was our second day in Luang Prabang. We asked Copilot 2 times, and it recommended this restaurant. Food is perfect, good service, good price. Good location also. If you plan to visit Phousi Mountain. It is just a few metres from the exit.

Our last dine in Luang Prabang. Turned out to be so good. The dishes are absolutely tasty and well-cooked. Not so much options of foods but good variety and diversity of cuisines offering both local and western dishes. The portions are just right and not too much. We love a good seating for good vibes, view and location. The staff were accommodating and flexible on how you want your foods and drinks done. Prices are a little high for Laos but it’s tourist price and tourist food value. So yeah, good place to grab some good foods.

Good choice of restaurants for sampling Lao dishes or some western comfort food. Nice modern decor and the staff were more attentive and helpful than most of those nearby. Would happily have come back and sampled more dishes. Found the river weed a bit over busy with the nuts, dips and sausages were great. One of the better sausages I've had in Laos. Quiet for lunch but very busy at night.

I went here as it was recommended by so many people but I guess the taste was not what I was looking for. My burger was bland in taste. In contrast Khao Soy was too salty for my preference. The french fries were good. It doesn't guarantee a re-visit for me.

We had a great time at this restaurant! The menu was extensive, but the server helped us pick out fresh mango spring rolls, sausages, and a crispy rice dish to share. The portions were pretty good and the food was delicious. The crispy rice was a bit spicy, though, so be careful. The place got really busy really fast, so it’s best to come early! I also love the decor!

The food I ordered was a bit salty and not really good at that time. The hamburger was light and not really interesting as expected. I came here thanks to recommendation from my sister. However, the restaurant is decorated quite nicely even though the space is not spacious enough.

Lovely restaurant on the main road of Luang Prabang. There are kids options and delicious fish from the Mekong River. Very family friendly and everyone is very nice and welcoming. We had a great time. Thank you.

The food I could not fault, the burger is one of the best I’ve had since arriving in south east Asia, my partner had some kind of rice and chicken curry salad, which by all accounts was very tasty. It’s a very pleasant looking restaurant however we were served a bowl of nuts with our drinks which had ants coming from it, which normally wouldn’t bother me after all insects and bugs come hand in hand with this part of the world, but you don’t expect them to be coming from your snacks. I ordered a Johnny walker black label and watched the pour me out a glass of bells whiskey, not an issue to raise there and then as I wasn’t that bothered but when I got the bill the whiskey cost more than my partners meal and drink out together. The facilities here are nice clean toilets, the staff were very friendly too. Just feels every so slightly like there’s maybe one table too many in the dining area causing you to feel little bit too close to the table next to you
