A meal here is a marathon - a languorous, dull experience. The four courses took over 2 1/2 hours. It was inexplicable why it took 45 minutes to plate such small portions. The food was not worth the wait.
Began with an amuse bouche trio in the garden. It was creatively plated but was bland. We had hoped to sit outside, but were taken inside into the dining room which completely lacked energy, for the remainder of the ongoing evening. It's a fixed menu with no choices. Courses just came out and the three savory courses were totally unmemorable and rather small. (But by 10:30, who wants a large portion anyway?) The best course was desert of a meringue cookie in a cherry sauce with some sorbet. The courses came paired with wine, and each wine was a distinct step down in interest and quality from the preceding one, ending with a gross, sweet sparkling with dessert. 4 courses with wine was $200. It's telling if you spend $100/person and can't recall three of the courses.
