So, this is what they call a "Bouchon Lyonnais"?! What an experience that was! The food was absolutely divine, the waiter was very friendly and smiley. I went for everything he recommended and I wasn't disappointed. Well done everyone!

Had an enjoyable lunch here. The food was good and was a perfect selection for lunch. Had the local white fish with vegetables and the steak with wine amaze and potatoes. The bread was nice and fresh. The service was excellent and very helpful. They had some fixed price meals but opted to keep it light for lunch. This restaurant appears to be related to the other Thomas restaurants (probably obvious?) Mostly locals eating here

If you have to eat in Bouchons while in Lyon, make sure you add this to your list. Service was fast, friendly and helpful. Food was good. We had the Escargot - finally got to eat this in actual shells. So good. We had Lyonnaise Salad - fresh and crispy veggies. For mains, we had the Beef with shallots - cooked well and sauce was nice. For dessert- make sure you try the Parfait - amazing A must try Bouchon while in Leon

Our favourite restaurant in Lyon. Unpretentious deliciousness. Highly recommend the egg in mushroom sauce for entree and the beef for mains. Cream caramel, chocolate fondant and bread and butter pudding all perfect.

We visited Bouchon Thomas two years ago during the Festival of Lights and had such a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, he recommended us some glasses of wine, and when we weren’t sure which to choose, he kindly let us taste them before ordering. The food was also delicious; my husband loved Salad Lyonnaise (which was actually meant to be mine! 😂). We’ll definitely go back!

Favorite restaurant in France! We spent three weeks traveling throughout France and visited many fabulous restaurants including a Michelin 3 star. We spent a week in Lyon and loved this restaurant so much we visited it twice! Everything we had was very good! We visited several other well done bouchons in Lyon and this one was our favorite. We especially loved the house speciality French toast dessert. The fish soufflé was my favorite meal I ate. Also very well done fish and vegetables, beef and sausage meals, escargot and lyonnaise salad. Good wine and drink recommendations. Top service. Our waiter was very kind and attentive. Local cuisine and many locals eating at the restaurant. A must if you are in Lyon! You cannot go wrong

My family and I booked this restaurant on a whim and we were so glad that we did. Our server went above and beyond in explaining the menu to us and helping us order. Out of all the restaurants I have been to, this restaurant by far had the best service. My family and I were extremely appreciative of how much effort our server went into making out restaurant visit a memorable experience. The food was stellar too. For my appetizer, I ordered the Lyonnaise salad which was excellent. I also got to sample the terrine which is a great choice too. I ordered the onglet (hanger steak) and the meat was very tender with a nice shallot sauce. The potatoes were cooked perfectly with a good crisp and well-flavored. Portions were very generous. The restaurant space is small but this creates a very intimate setting with its open kitchen and nice decorations. It has very limited seating though so it is a wise idea to make a reservation ahead of time.

Petit bouchon très chaleureux servant les plats lyonnais super bons. Les plats que nous avons choisi au hazard étaient super bons: la salade lyonnaise, les oeufs façon meurette et la quenelle au brochet. Pour le dessert, la crème brûlée était vraiment un coup de cœur. Tout était parfait: l'ambiance, la cuisine et surtout l'accueil.

First time in France, Lyon was our first landing spot. The scene here is fantastic! The bouchon, a tapas bar next door, formal seating restaurant across the street, sets the atmosphere. Each is lively and comfortable (we were able to try the bar and bouchon but the formal sit down looked very nice and active). Food is a great example of classic Lyonnais cooking. Waiters were willing to speak English (and allowed us to fake French), and escort us through the menu. Price was spot on. I can't wait to go back again!

A very nice modern bouchon with great, traditional Lyonnais food. The waiters is well-spoken in English and is very personable - he can tell you a lot about each dish and the city. Very comfortable environment and reasonable prices (21-25€ for 3 course set). Recommended.
