Boudro’s on the Riverwalk is a great spot for dinner if you’re visiting San Antonio. The location right along the River Walk makes the whole experience feel special, especially in the evening when the lights reflect off the water. It has a lively but still comfortable atmosphere — perfect for a relaxed dinner after walking around downtown. We ordered the steak and it was cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. The roasted potatoes on the side were flavorful and nicely crisp on the outside. The quail dish was also impressive, with a rich sauce that paired well with the meat. Even the salad was fresh and well-balanced, not just a basic side. Service was attentive and friendly, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Prices are on the higher side, but considering the location, quality of food, and overall experience, it felt worth it. Definitely a good choice for a nicer dinner on the River Walk, whether you’re celebrating something special or just want a solid Texas dining experience.

We were in San Antonio for our nephew’s Air Force graduation and stopped at Boudro’s on the River Walk for lunch. Even with a party of 13 and no reservation, we were seated quickly and welcomed warmly. Our server, Randy, was fantastic, friendly, upbeat, and handled our large group effortlessly. The food was outstanding. The smash burger was a 10/10 (and that’s coming from a serious burger lover). The shrimp & grits were so good my husband is still wishing he ordered more. The sweet potato fries were also a standout. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and memorable food. Highly recommend when visiting the River Walk.

Excellent dining experience. Friendly and efficient staff. Delightful menu of local Texas cuisine along with an extensive wine list and full bar. We enjoyed the tableside Guacamole, followed by the mesquite grilled Texas quail and the 8 oz Black Angus center cut fillet. We finished the meal with a slice of the lime chest pie which was the perfect compliment to a delicious meal.

This place is very popular on the riverwalk. A table outdoors has great atmosphere. However, our party of 14 was seated indoors and it was fine since it was a bit cool outside but make sure to request outdoor if that’s what you’re here for. We had great warm tortilla chips and table-side guac which we really enjoyed. The prickly pear margarita was tasty. I ordered the scallops and they had too much seasoning for my taste and not seared crispy. The dressing on the pozole was strong too. The quail had a lot of heavy sauce. The bread pudding was good but also quite heavy and didn’t sit well in my stomach. Overall, service was great and nice restaurant, but some of the flavors were too heavy for me.

Josiah was an awesome server!! Would come back just for him. Food was great. Shrimp and grits were stellar and the bread pudding was fantastic. Sitting on the water was lovely. Probabaly the best place on the river walk. Great date night spot!

Boudro’s is a place that exceeds expectations for anyone wanting to experience the atmosphere of the San Antonio Riverwalk to the fullest. With a table overlooking the water, the moment I sat down felt instantly relaxing, and the warm, easygoing ambiance of the restaurant set a pleasant tone from the start. The guacamole tasted remarkably fresh, and the Shrimp & Grits had such depth of flavor that it stood out as the best version of the dish I’ve had so far. The staff were attentive and effortless in their service, creating a consistently comfortable dining experience. It’s an excellent spot to enjoy a leisurely lunch while taking in the lively charm of the Riverwalk. It’s the kind of restaurant I would gladly visit again during a trip.

After receiving high recommendations I booked an after Airmen grad celebration for my son. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The food didn’t blow me away. Not even close. My steak was tough and chewy. The table side guacamole was ok. Our service ok ish. All in all I just was disappointed. I expected more.

This is a highly recommended restaurant—and I can absolutely see why. The menu is extensive, full of great options, and offers something for everyone. They also prepare fresh table-side quac for you, which really elevates the experience. They finished with fresh orange, and it completely transformed the flavor and aroma. It added such a bright, fresh twist—I might even start adding that to my own recipe at home! The food was amazing, and the variety of fish options was impressive. Honestly, I wish I had been hungrier so I could have ordered three different plates just to try more. Our waiter was beyond nice and courteous, he deserves to be highlighted! The pricing is a bit on the higher side, so be prepared for a solid bill (or two). But for the quality and experience, it’s easy to understand why.

Leaving Bandera, Texas and heading to Austin-Bergstrom Airport, I had just a couple hours to show my sister-in-law the San Antonio Riverwalk. We found this spot with easy river access, and it exceeded every expectation. The staff was unbelievably friendly from the moment we arrived. Parking was a block away ($25 for two hours), and the elevator down to the restaurant was easy to find. We got a beautiful table right on the river and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. The tableside guacamole was hands-down the best I've ever had, and the shrimp cocktail served in a cucumber boat with sauces right in the boat was both creative and delicious. From start to finish, the staff treated us like VIPs--even guiding us back to the elevator when we left. Amazing food, stunning view, and incredible service, definitely a must-visit on the Riverwalk! Yelp Austin Elite approved!!

The food was absolutely delicious! Be aware that some items in their photos section might not be on the menu now. Richard, our waiter, was fantastic! He was attentive, friendly, courteous, and professional, despite being busy with other customers too. I love the atmosphere. There is seating inside and outside, but I prefer the outside seating, because I like the people watch. Being on the side of the Riverwalk is the perfect spot!

We came here twice on our trip to San Antonio when we were here yesterday we had the tableside guacamole and the sauce and chips. My dining companions had the lemon drop martini and a margarita while I had a nonalcoholic beer. Trying to stay a little sober so I don't fall into the San Antonio River. Our server both times was Alan. Not only is he easy on the eyes, but he's very attentive and an excellent server. He also has a lot of pens in his little apron. He's very prepared.

Now to start, this is on the Riverwalk, so of course its busy with tourists and if you sit on the water's edge like we did, you'll have a constant stream of humanity walking by you. Great for people watching, bad for a private dinner. We didnt mind and enjoyed watching all the different people walking by or taking the boat tour. We had reservations and luckily did get the water side table. Which was great for the reasons mentioned above, however it did mean slightly delayed service as our waiter, Tracey J, was running from the water to the kitchen and seemed to have a section that spanned the entire dining area. You can tell he was hustling, so nothing bad to say about him, Im sure its not his fault he was tasked with such a disparate area. We started with the tomato salad, which was fantastic and she got the double rib pork chop and I got the grilled prime rib. We honestly should have just shared one entree, these are true Texas sized portions! I cant decide which one I liked more, the sauce on the pork chop was amazing and my prime rib was cooked perfectly. Even the grilled veggies that came with both were delicious! They cant validate for the parking structure across the street, which isnt their fault since it's now a private structure, so expect to pay $20-$30 for parking which is about the going rate for the Riverwalk on a Friday. All in all this was a great experience and one we'll repeat!

Amazing place to dine on the riverfront. They have both indoor and outdoors seating areas. They were able to accommodate me earlier than I had booked which was great for me. I started off with the guacamole and chips which is for two so come hungry. They make the guacamole right in front of you and chips are warm. I ordered the blackened steak with fries which was tasty as well. The servers were amazing and knowledgeable. Parking is between $20-$25 depending on what lot you use. If you are lucky you can find some street parking and walk the rest of the way just read the signs. The mocktail mojito wasn't my favorite it was too tart for me.

The enchiladas were amazing, the spicy tomato pancakes as the tortilla blended so well with the sauce.......or waiter Drew was top notch and knew everything we needed to know about the food!

This was a great Valentines Day on the river walk. We had reservations and were sat immediately. Our waiter have good recommendations and stayed attentive even while being super busy. The food came out and looked amazing and tasted even better. The pricing was perfect for portion sizes. The drinks were not the best but they will do. I will definitely come back based on food taste, portions, and price!

We were in town for an event and decided to check out the Riverwalk. It was still early, around 4pm and there were not many people around. We stumbled upon Boudro's which looked like a great spot. However, being right in the water, we didn't want to sit where thousands of people would be walking by in a short time. We spotted the Boudro's terrace Bar, directly above the bistro. We went upstairs and there were several tables still available so we were able to be sat right against the railing overlooking the water. All the chairs had blankets for the chilly weather and the patio was decorated for the holidays which is a nice touch! Our server was Miguel. Miguel was very friendly and professional. He always had a smile throughout the evening. Miguel took our orders for drinks and brought out a basket of warm French bread & butter. I ordered a dirty martini and my husband ordered a red sangria. The martini was very good. Not filled to the rim but ice floats on top. The red sangria was not as good. My husband orders them frequently and he said it had a strange flavor. We shared the field mushrooms at 22.50 - with grilled baked polenta, goat cheese, Roma tomatoes and chipotle-thyme demi-glaze. These were absolutely delicious. Miguel also offered us a prickly pear margarita that someone cancelled from their order. We took it! It was very, very good and quite festive looking. We peaked down below at some of the entrees people ordered. They were plated nicely and looked delicious. We thought we would come back for dinner at some point. I would recommend Boudro's but come early if you don't have a reservation or you probably won't be seated. By the time we left, the restaurant was packed and the walkway was so crowded it took a long time to get back to the hotel. This was a Thursday.

Boudro's is the sister restaurant of my favorite restaurant in San Antonio, Zinc Bistro. However, they sadly never reopened Zinc after the pandemic. The prickly pear margarita wasn't as good as it used to be, or the bar tender just had a bad day. It had this strong, solvent- like taste. Food was decent, price has gone up a lot since the pandemic sadly. Same dish I ordered 6 years ago had gone up $23, the surf and turf was $42 dollars 6 years ago, now $65. Crazy inflation. Food was decent. Service was alright. But it's not as good as I remembered.

I absolutely loved my meal here. My bf and I split the filet and a nice salad. We each had a glass of wine, Cab for me and Sauvignon Blanc for him. We ordered the steak medium and it was cooked perfectly and tasted even better. Every bit was perfect. We got squash, zucchini, green beans and onions in the delicious sauce. It also came with a corn pudding. Our waitress was super nice and helpful and didn't make us feel silly for splitting a meal. We're not large eaters and a 10 ounce steak was plenty for us. The ambiance is nice there. Our only complaint was we were seated inside next to the moveable wall and there was a small opening where it didn't meet the wall and cold air was coming in. By the time we were done eating we were chilled. They should fix that on cold nights.

Was trying to find a restaurant on the Riverwalk, and this place smelled amazing. So glad we stopped by for dinner! Pros: - Very friendly servers. I definitely recommend sitting outside on the Riverwalk if you can - The shrimp and grits dish was delicious. Flavor and texture were on point! Cons: - It's a bit on the pricier end, but for the atmosphere and its location on the Riverwalk, the price feels reasonable. Definitely not a gimmicky place.

We were looking for dinner on Monday night and saw a staircase that led upstairs to a Terrace bar and grill. Turns out that the restaurant below also has a terrace location up above. They also have a small indoor bar up there as well. We had the pleasure of meeting Jason, our bartender who was just incredibly friendly and provided the best service while we were there. We started with basic drinks - my husband, getting an old old-fashioned and myself starting with a in-house made ranch water. The ranch water was actually really delicious and I ended up ordering another one. My husband did order another old-fashioned but this time he remembered to ask for gentleman's ice. That would be the only downfall that we saw was that his old-fashioned was served with a bunch of ice, and unfortunately, it takes away from the flavor and waters down the drink fast. We decided to have dinner there and And really enjoyed our experience. My husband got the ribeye and said that it was very delicious and really enjoyed the red wine reduction that came with it. I got their shrimp and grits and let me tell you - I cleaned that plate! The shrimp were nice and tender and the grits were steel cut grits so they're a little bit larger but the flavor was delicious and they had this nice savory kind of spicy sauce that came with it. It literally was delicious and the perfect size for dinner. We really enjoyed our experience here and would definitely come back. We highly recommend the upstairs terrace area as it tends to be a little quieter and it's above all of the noise that's happening down on the Riverwalk.

Went on a Fruday afternoon. Gluten free options are very very limited. Had 2 apps. Mushrooms and scallops. Scallops were good but tiny. Mushrooms were dull. Unimaginative. That's $70.

Everything about Boudros on the riverwalk is outstanding. We came in for an early dinner and sat outside and people watched while we ate. The service is fantastic, servers are friendly and professional and are quick to give suggestions on the food. We had the fried oysters for an appetizer and hubby had shrimp and grits while I had the mesquite grilled Texas quail. Of course we shared and couldn't decide which plate was better. We will definitely be back here on our next trip.

If I could give this place 1000000 stars, I would. I'm going to cut to the chase - BEST STEAK I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! I ate at this restaurant since it was recommended by the hotel I was staying at. This place did NOT disappoint one bit. For starters, I got the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and Guacamole for 2 (prepared fresh table side). The shrimps were delicious, especially in the sauce that isn't marinara. The guac was perfect, lots of chips came with it. While the server was freshly preparing the guac, he was explaining their menu. My main dish was the 10 oz Texas Filet. Instead of fries, I got veggies. Oh my goodness...I can't stop thinking about it. The steak was PERFECTLY cooked (rare, per my request) AND FLAVORED. THE FLAVOR OF THE ENTIRE DISH IS OUT OF THIS WORLD! The chimichurri sauce is perfection in every way. Warning, you will have garlic breath after devouring this meal, but it is well worth it. The fried jalapenos that came with the dish were sooo good that I had to ask for more. I've been talking about this dish for days now. The Chicken Fried Ribeye is also spectacular! For dessert, do NOT skip getting the bread pudding. The keylime pie is good, as well. All in all, I WILL 10000000% BE RETURNING! I'll probably reorder everything I did on this first visit + many other dishes. Our server was helpful and kind. The location is prime, right on the river walk! Really really, all around, such a great experience.

Has a group of 9 adults, from across the country. We had a great dinner. Mike was our waiter. He took good care of us. Didn't get pics of all the food because we dug right in. Highly recommend the guac, shrimp and grits, prime rib, sirloin, quail. So much flavor. Drinks were also great. We walked here so can't speak to parking. They're big and sounds like expanding. They do have private rooms here as well

A solid 4 stars - the table side guacamole was INCREDIBLE. Our waitress was nice, and it's right on the riverwalk, so the outdoor seating is great people watching. Service took a while, and the entrees were mediocre. I personally wouldn't recommend eating the smoked fish. The guacamole though... I'm still thinking about it.

We dined here once before on our last trip here at the Riverwalk, so I knew they had a stellar patio set-up. So I RSVP'd here for lunch again during our recent visit. As anticipated, the patio scene was awesome...and so was the weather that day. First of all, I was surprised (in a very good way) that they offered complimentary bread during lunch hours. In any case, I ordered their Shrimp & Grits, and my husband ordered Chicken & Avocado BLT (I think that's what it was called?). We both decided to skip the alcohol this time around, so just ordered Iced Tea. Not sure how great the BLT was, but my Shrimp & Grits was AMAZING!! I loved the brown sauce, and the dish was so delish, I could have licked that plate clean. All I can say is, we enjoyed every minute here...the food, the ambiance, and even the service. Definitely a 5-star from me!

I went to Boudro's with some friends for Christmas dinner. It was my first time going there and I enjoyed it. The restaurant menu is high end with seafood and steaks making the majority of the menu. For an appetizer I ordered the jumbo cocktail shrimp. The six large shrimp came out on a cucumber "boat" filled on one half with cocktail sauce and the other half with thousand island dressing. It was pretty good. Someone else ordered the scallops. I'm glad I didn't order it because there were four small scallops on her plate. My main course was blackened fish with buttered squash and buttered potatoes. The fish was cooked good but could've used more seasoning. I'm knocking one star because of the service. My friend had to ask four times for straws. The server didn't come to the table often and kept forgetting what we asked for.

Food was excellent! We enjoyed the Blackened Prime rib and Shrimp and Grits as our entrees. Not pictured we had the guacamole which was made table side as well as their Prickly Pear Margaritas, all 4 items they are said to be known for. The servers were all kind however the wait for everything, including just to get water was annoyingly long (we had two small children with us) for early afternoon (4pm) which is why I deducted a star. Despite the wait time, would go back again!

Great service, consistently good food , and a wonderful ambiance that's heads above most restaurants on the riverwalk. We had an excellent Blackened Prime Rib, Grilled Prime Rib, and a bland and skimpy Blue Crab Tostada. The service was amazing and the table side guacamole delicious!

Visited on March 13, the Salmon was good, the Rib Eye was like eating a boot, the waiter was good. We were very disappointed with the steak, we did not eat but a quarter of the steak, it was bad. Very disappointed when they charge for a higher scale of service

Can't here for a date night. This was our second time here so wanted to try something different. Rich was our waiter and he provided excellent service. Even though he was waiting multiple tables, he made sure to check in on us frequently. We started off with the seared scallops for appetizer. It smelled fishy but the taste was anything but. Tasted amazing with their red pepper vinegrette and the white corn pozole was subtle and not overpowering. Steaks do take a while to cook so keep that in mind and order an app or don't come here too hungry. But it's def worth the wait. I ordered mine medium rare because it's the only way anyone should ever really order it and it was cooked to perfection. Will def be coming her again to try other items on their menu.

Tableside guacamole!!! So good! I had a Hugo spritz that was super refreshing and duck gumbo which had so much flavor. The patio is on the riverwalk so you have views and people watching.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant on the Riverwalk! The service was top-notch--our server Miguel,was attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious--every bite was a masterpiece. I also loved the ambiance; dining by the river was so relaxing and picturesque. And to top it all off, the prices were fair for the quality and experience. I'll definitely be coming back! Thank you to the staff for making my husband birthday one to remember.

We came here per a recommendation and am so glad we did! We dined on a weekend during lunch. There was a very minimal wait time for outdoor seating. While they did have tables on the water, they also had a covered patio (with fans!!) that we sat at. The service was great! Our server was very attentive, able to answer questions and ensure any requests were met! We all really enjoyed our meals, but the highlight of our time here was the table-side guacamole that we ordered. A great portion to share, and very fresh! Overall we had a wonderful experience at Boudro's and would highly recommend trying it if in the area.

Food was average Smash about the sam size as double cheese burger from Burger King all though better tasting, the service was very good .we were seated outside by the river canal this is what you pay for see the tourists floating by on the river boat,

Service was good. The food was trash. Under cooked stake and bruised vegetables. Bland. This was a reminder for me why I never go to eat there. Over rated, over priced. Not worth my time. Thank you though ya help prove my point to my woman. Boudros means bullshit. I have run managed kitchen on the San Antonio river walk. I have never wanted to or thought about eating here. It was her choice. But yet ya proved me right. Thank you for the trash food I didn't eat,but threw away.

We stopped in here for dinner with another couple. My wife and I had eaten here last March and had a pretty good experience so decided to head back. I had wanted to try their shrimp and grits as I had seen it served during our last visit. Since the river was drained and under cleaning and maintenance (we didn't know it was going to be that way) there were no crowds in any of the bars or restaurants, and no large groups wandering along the riverwalk. We started with the table side guacamole and it was great. The $18 serving is designed for 2 people, but we shared it between the four of us and it was fine. The guacamole was chunky, spicy, full of lime and orange flavor, and creamy. While the price is a bit high, it is worth it. For dinner I ordered the shrimp and grits, my wife had the steak and frites, and our friends both had the ribeye. My shrimp and grits were very flavorful, creamy, and had 9 large shrimp. I probably won't order it again, as I felt like I really needed a side veggie or salad to make the meal complete. My wife's steak and frites included a nice 6 ounce steak along with a large pile of frites, fried banana chips and a grilled half tomato. She loved it all, but couldn't finish it because there was so much. Our friends said both of their ribeyes were done perfectly medium rare, accompanied by some baby potatoes and steamed veggies. They cleaned their plates! Overall, the (almost $400 bill including tip and 3 beers) was worth the experience and food. Everything is extremely expensive anymore and I don't mind paying if the food and service are good. We'll be back I'm certain. Ambiance: 9/10 - the noise level is a bit high when the place fills up (which it did during our visit) Service: 10/10 - our server Justin did an amazing job describing the dishes and keeping our water glasses filled. Food: 9/10 - the shrimp and grits should have a side of something green or at least have the server recommend it. Value: 9/10 - as I mentioned, it is a bit pricey, but what place isn't these days?

Wonderful! Our server was the best, he walked us through the whole menu and was very attentive. The guacamole was one of the best parts, freshly made right in front of us! The bread, delicious. The chicken was wonderful, and the jumbo shrimp with the steak was melt in your mouth delicious. Desserts? Also amazing. The restaurant was beautiful and everything seemed like a well oiled machine. Definitely recommend!

Amazing service, fantastic cocktails and even though we didn't eat here, I can say every table surrounding us had tableside guacamole made for them that looked to die for! You must sit at a small table on the river, the vibes, the people watching... all made for an incredible time! Our server Alex was fantastic, he was so sweet and kind.

(From January, 2025) Stumbling out of a bar after several whiskey sours & moscow mules, we got hungry and looked for eats on the Riverwalk near the hotel. Upon passing this spot, we turned around and tried to see if there was seating here. Being a Sunday night around 9ish, tables were fortunately available so we were seated. Upon getting seated, the menu mentioned tableside guacamole as one of the staples so we decided to spring for that. After getting our drinks, our server Haley comes back with a cart of the ingredients and starts whipping up that green avocado concoction with a side of chips. Gotta say, it was tasty and seasoned just right with the lime and orange juice squeezed. Never had guac with an orange squeeze; I kinda like it now. As for food, I decided on blackened prime rib while my girlfriend ordered the blackened gulf fish. About 15 minutes later, the food comes out piping hot and we dig in. Prime Rib is pretty good; not the best but found it tasty; the rosemary butter definitely helps. My girlfriend enjoyed the gulf fish, very tender. We decide on dessert which was the Louisiana bread pudding w/ ice cream. Definitely a banger with the nice anglaise cream sauce. Service was impeccable with Haley making sure we got what we needed and answered all our questions. I noticed a lot of reviews mentioned the service here being top notch and they weren't lying; every staff member I noticed is moving and carrying something so they've got hustle which I like seeing. Definitely one of the more expensive options on the Riverwalk. I usually avoid restaurants on there since most are tourist traps but I wouldn't mind coming back here again with the great service and that tableside guac. We look forward to returning here again.

Fantastic steakhouse. We started off with the quail, guacamole, coconut shrimp, and oysters. The guacamole was chunky, freshly made at the table, and came with fresh warm chips. However, my favorite appetizers were definitely the coconut shrimp and oysters. For dinner u had blackened prime rib which was delicious. It has a nice spice level and was made perfectly. We also had the double brownie for dessert. It was delicious - comes warm with a coffee ice cream on top and lots of chocolate sauce. Overall, the restaurant was very good.

Came to Boudro's with some girlfriends for Saturday night dinner. We arrived early for our reservation and was seated right away at a nice outdoor table as requested. Our server greeted us right away, took our drink orders and then made us tableside guacamole which was delicious. I have had the prickly pear Margarita here many times. This time the margarita mix seemed a little off like it was from a powder. Nevertheless, still drinkable ha ha. We split the shrimp and grits and the Blue crab tostada. Shrimp and grits seemed a little smaller portion than they used to serve. Still, grits were delicious, sauce was phenomenal and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The blue crab tostada was absolutely delicious. I would get that again. Overall a great experience and front row to the best people watching on the Riverwalk.

The dining experience is usually top notch, but they recently expanded and decided to put us off in a back room for private dining even though we were completely alone off sequestered in a back part of the restaurant on a busy night with zero ambiance. The food is always fine but you go here when you want the riverwalk ambiance and not to be secluded in a back part of the newly acquired restaurant that seems miles away from the true boudro's experience.

We took a walking tour this morning and our guide had suggested this restaurant so we decided to give it a try for dinner tonight. It was a great decision. We made a reservation through Resy and were quickly seated at an outdoor table overlooking the river. The menu had plenty of great sounding appetizers and entrees. Our server, Andrew, let us know the prime rib and shrimp and grits were their two specialties. We went with his suggestions and were not disappointed. The shrimp and grits was one of the best I have eaten. My husband also loved his prime rib. Service was great as well.

Brought in a party of 8 for lunch on a reservation I had made via phone call directly to the restaurant one month ago. I had requested outdoor seating. When I called to confirm the reservation the day of, the hostess said it's whatever they have available the time I come in. I understand that requests are not guaranteed, but it's a group reservation that I had made a month ago. It would have been nice to have at least been told they would try their best to put us outside. We ended up being seated indoors. Fine. No big deal. Service was fine. It was busy. The majority of us ordered prime rib and I personally had the 10 oz sirloin & frites. We all agreed the steak and prime rib were flavorful but TOUGH and chewy. This is not top quality meat. The meat did not melt in your mouth. So if you're looking for steaks, don't order them here. Stick with salmon as my friends who had salmon said it was great. Also, the sirloin plate had way too many carbs and not enough veggies on it. The steak was accompanied by fries, fried jalapeño chips, and plantain chips. The only veg was a tomato. This is a completely unbalanced meal!

The location is great with wonderful seating in the safe, along the river. Our server Joe was fantastic. He treated us like VIP, we had great conversation, and he educated us about the area. Joe was funny and witty, and made the experience very enjoyable. We ordered the Guacamole for two... Although the amount of chips that they give you is for 10. Giggles. The guacamole was made right in front of us next to our table. I had the shrimp and grits entrée, and it was absolutely delicious. I was a little nervous that it would be too spicy given the description on the menu, but it had incredible flavor and was not overpowering with spice. My husband had the wood grilled ribeye sandwich and he said it was incredibly delicious as well. We highly recommend this restaurant. It was a great addition to our San Antonio experience!

still think about this experience! Went for dinner, they hand made the guac in front of us! (Yummy) The shrimp and grits were extremely flavorful! We sat outside by the water on a perfect day, no bugs, no heat. The vibes were right! I love the indoor seating as well! Plenty of options! It's a bit pricey but hey, what isn't on the river walk?

We made a Sunday evening trip to the River Walk to try this place out. We sat inside and it got very, very loud in there. We could not even carry on a conversation. The service was great and the food was good.

Jarvis was such a great host and server for us!! Memorized our names, gave us a brief story behind the restaurant, offered drink recommendations, tableside guacamole and attentive throughout. I had the signature shrimp and grits and it was tasty. They offer seating both inside and out but we opted for the A/C in August.

We appreciated the kind staff as we navigated some walking areas that were a bit difficult for us. Food was excellent and the ambiance was pretty as it was a beautiful evening and we sat outside
