Went to celebrate my friends birthday. I had never been to or heard of this restaurant before. Prices were a little high so I was expecting great food. The food was honestly average like anything I could have gotten at red lobster. My lobster was overcooked and stuck to the shell. The stake had some strange curry butter on it. It was a bland bitter taste so I scooped that off. They wouldn’t let the kids order from the lunch menu and didn’t have any options for people who don’t want all the weird stuff so she told my kid to order the prime rib, which she ended up not liking because it was full of fat. Atmosphere was decent, a little loud but not too bad. Floors were old, chipped, and cracked tile like the kind you see in a McDonald’s kitchen and the chairs weren’t very comfortable. The waitress was training another waitress which was fine. We all split our checks and I paid for my family. Her kids paid for hers (collage kids who work part time). After everything was all paid for and every one had left the waitress came to me to ask if everything was okay. I was shocked and said yes why?! She then told me that no one left a tip. I in fact did leave a tip. It may have not been what she thinks she should have gotten but it was based off the quality of food and service. I’m not the type who’s going to complain about things and have you take it back to the kitchen, but I am the type to tip based on what I felt it was worth. To approach someone and tell them you didn’t get tipped is crazy. Gratuity is something that is earned and should not be expected just because you slap a sticker price on something and say it’s worth it. I will say the presentation of the food was nice but it didn’t taste the way it all looked.

I visited San Antonio for the first time this weekend, and I was genuinely surprised by how beautiful, spacious, and well-organized the city is — but what truly stole my heart (and my stomach!) was this incredible restaurant by the river. Normally when I travel, I like to try different restaurants to experience a variety of foods, but this place was the exception — I came back three times! Even just a few hours before my flight home, I made sure to stop by one last time to try the lunch special they had told me about the night before. The food is SPECTACULARLY delicious. The flavor combinations are mind-blowing, the ingredients are fresh, and everything is cooked to absolute perfection. Another big highlight: I’m usually not a big fan of red meat, but this restaurant changed the game for me. I ended up eating more meat than I ever do — and loving it! Everything was so flavorful and perfectly done that I got to experience a new appreciation for it. When I return to San Antonio, this will be a must-visit spot for me, no doubt about it. I actually wanted to personally thank the chef for such an amazing experience, but the kitchen was so busy I didn’t want to interrupt — so I hope this message reaches both the chef and the entire team. From the kitchen to the servers, everyone was so kind, attentive, and professional — you all made my trip extra special. I’ll be sharing some photos of the dishes I tried here too! Endless thanks to everyone at Boudro’s! You truly made this visit unforgettable.

We will be back. The oyster appetizer was something I will never forget. We went spontaneously, but we were celebrating my our birthdays and anniversary, and it was outstanding. Although the food and ambiance were all top notch...Jarvis made the experience that much more amazing. So impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail. If we could give him 10 stars we would. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed and special, including our daughter.

Google
Had great time with my family eating here, the food was great definitely recommend the shrimp and grits and Guacamole! Only downside was our waiter was bit slow, and the prime rib we got was tad tuff! But our overall experience was great and we sat big table near the river was beautiful ! Definitely going again.

Google
Located on the Riverwalk, Boudros had fantastic service and a really atmosphere. The service was fast and attentive. The chile fried oysters appetizer was fantastic. The shrimp cocktail was delicious with the dual dipping sauces. The shrimp and crab enchiladas were good. The center cut filet was tender but the mixed vegetable side was bland and the corn pudding was more polenta style I think. Overall great dining experience.

Google
1st time ever I am asking how cook I want my pork ribs ($38) it’s like chicken there is only the right one lol My sweet potatoes were not cooked at all and almost uneatable… The onion rings were not crunchy at all, more like rubber… We asked for a sirloin steak ($36) and it was so greasy for the chimichurri… ugh The service was ok. The good thing is that the restaurant is in the right spot, shame the food is not ag the level…

We ended up having a late dinner there this past Friday, and couldn't have asked for better service than what Michael provided to us that night. He was very friendly, professional, and with great recommendations. The views directly on the river were great, and the atmosphere nice. The filet and the scallops were really good, and the wine was delicious. Really enjoyed our night there!

Google
I called this establishment very last minute to get reservations, they had availability within 30 minutes for a table of 7 even though they were packed. From the second we arrived, every member of staff from the host to wait-staff to management were very gracious and accommodating. Service was prompt, and they kept our drinks filled with very little delay, especially considering the volume of patrons. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice and clean, the only negative thing I could consider is the weird little table lights. Our table mainly ordered the ribeye which was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the open fire cooking method with the hints of mesquite. It took me back to my youth and cooking on open fire on our lease in deep west Texas, only seasoned better and with all the fixings. We ultimately choose this venue when we realized they weren't some bigger chain that had multiple locations. I would definitely return to try more menu items.

Yelp
The service was amazing. Jarvis was very attentive to our needs and provided us with impeccable service. The food was very fresh and delicious. The views were great along the river walk.

Yelp
Best guac and pork chop I've ever had. Server was very informative and gave great suggestions on what was popular. Quiet and right on the river.

Yelp
We came here per a recommendation and am so glad we did! We dined on a weekend during lunch. There was a very minimal wait time for outdoor seating. While they did have tables on the water, they also had a covered patio (with fans!!) that we sat at. The service was great! Our server was very attentive, able to answer questions and ensure any requests were met! We all really enjoyed our meals, but the highlight of our time here was the table-side guacamole that we ordered. A great portion to share, and very fresh! Overall we had a wonderful experience at Boudro's and would highly recommend trying it if in the area.

Yelp
I ate the best steak I've ever had in my entire life. I went to this beautiful restaurant for my birthday. I was treated so incredibly well. They even gave me a little birthday treat on the house (: The atmosphere is one of a kind. The restaurant is located right off of a beautiful river walk where you can watch boats float by. I'm for sure going to this restaurant the next time I find myself in San Antonio!

Yelp
Disclaimer: this was first posted on google maps a year ago! I just made a yelp account! My apologies if there has been changes since then! I've been here twice, the first time was a couple of years ago. I went here recently in hopes of reliving the great experience but was slightly disappointed. I ordered 1 starter, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts. It took a decent amount of time to get the dishes out but they were pretty busy. The waiter was helpful enough to let us know which foods may contain my brother's allergies and gave us a lot of different options to choose from. The food overall was okay but it didn't live up to my expectations from my very first experience, maybe it's because it was my very first time there. Despite all of that, this place is a really good place to go to if you want to dine on the Riverwalk. Just get the tables inside unless you want to be sweating in the heat on the patio.

Yelp
Super friendly service for our waitress. She was knowledgeable about their food and made great suggestions. Sitting outside on the river was nice but the flys really liked us. The scallops were perfectly cooked, the oysters didn't have a crunch to the batter, but a very composed dish. The duck was a nice touch with the sausage gumbo but I wanted more in the bowl which seemed like a cup serving. The tostada fell flat for me.

Yelp
(From January, 2025) Stumbling out of a bar after several whiskey sours & moscow mules, we got hungry and looked for eats on the Riverwalk near the hotel. Upon passing this spot, we turned around and tried to see if there was seating here. Being a Sunday night around 9ish, tables were fortunately available so we were seated. Upon getting seated, the menu mentioned tableside guacamole as one of the staples so we decided to spring for that. After getting our drinks, our server Haley comes back with a cart of the ingredients and starts whipping up that green avocado concoction with a side of chips. Gotta say, it was tasty and seasoned just right with the lime and orange juice squeezed. Never had guac with an orange squeeze; I kinda like it now. As for food, I decided on blackened prime rib while my girlfriend ordered the blackened gulf fish. About 15 minutes later, the food comes out piping hot and we dig in. Prime Rib is pretty good; not the best but found it tasty; the rosemary butter definitely helps. My girlfriend enjoyed the gulf fish, very tender. We decide on dessert which was the Louisiana bread pudding w/ ice cream. Definitely a banger with the nice anglaise cream sauce. Service was impeccable with Haley making sure we got what we needed and answered all our questions. I noticed a lot of reviews mentioned the service here being top notch and they weren't lying; every staff member I noticed is moving and carrying something so they've got hustle which I like seeing. Definitely one of the more expensive options on the Riverwalk. I usually avoid restaurants on there since most are tourist traps but I wouldn't mind coming back here again with the great service and that tableside guac. We look forward to returning here again.

Yelp
Brought in a party of 8 for lunch on a reservation I had made via phone call directly to the restaurant one month ago. I had requested outdoor seating. When I called to confirm the reservation the day of, the hostess said it's whatever they have available the time I come in. I understand that requests are not guaranteed, but it's a group reservation that I had made a month ago. It would have been nice to have at least been told they would try their best to put us outside. We ended up being seated indoors. Fine. No big deal. Service was fine. It was busy. The majority of us ordered prime rib and I personally had the 10 oz sirloin & frites. We all agreed the steak and prime rib were flavorful but TOUGH and chewy. This is not top quality meat. The meat did not melt in your mouth. So if you're looking for steaks, don't order them here. Stick with salmon as my friends who had salmon said it was great. Also, the sirloin plate had way too many carbs and not enough veggies on it. The steak was accompanied by fries, fried jalapeño chips, and plantain chips. The only veg was a tomato. This is a completely unbalanced meal!

Yelp
Overall great experience. Food was delicious and service was amazing. Ordered shrimp and grits and both items were full of flavor. Probably the best take on shrimp and grits I've had and portion was plenty. My only feedback is seating both inside and outside was kind of tight as it felt like a maze especially when going to the restroom (trays and seats would block your path).

Yelp
Also loved their sister location, Zinc. I wish they would reopen it. After dinner, my wife and I loved sitting in the "garden area" to have dessert & coffee. And I was allowed to smoke a cigar. Seating arranged so that anyone smoking didn't bother the non-smokers.
google avatar

MaKayla G.

Yelp
still think about this experience! Went for dinner, they hand made the guac in front of us! (Yummy) The shrimp and grits were extremely flavorful! We sat outside by the water on a perfect day, no bugs, no heat. The vibes were right! I love the indoor seating as well! Plenty of options! It's a bit pricey but hey, what isn't on the river walk?

Yelp
I was attending a work conference in San Antonio. My colleagues and I were hungry after attending a vendor function, and Boudro's came highly recommended. Places located within tourist zones tend to be overrated and overpriced. Boudro's Texas Bistro is not such a place. Boudro's has been serving an elevated fusion of Southwest and New American cuisines on the Riverwalk since 1986. Boudro's sources its herbs, produce, and proteins locally whenever possible. There are a variety of dining options, whether inside, on their patio along the Riverwalk, or on one of their private river barges. Boudro's event spaces can accommodate up to nearly 60 guests. I ordered: Chile-Fried Gulf Oysters served on yucca chips with Serrano honey aioli, pineapple pico de gallo, and greens. Blackened Prime Rib with Boudreaux butter, rosemary potatoes, and roasted vegetables Both items were so delicious. The oysters were fried perfectly, and I loved the crispy salty chips with the pico de gallo. The Prime Rib was so flavorful and tender. And I finally understand the hype surrounding butter and steaks. I was so glad my hotel room (Element San Antonio Riverwalk) had a refrigerator and microwave as it was gone by mid-morning.

Yelp
Great menu. Good food. Decent prices. But expect a 20 minute dining experience for them to turn and burn tables. Two bites into my salad and all our entrees came out. At least do the standard 45. Terrible. Dinner guests treated like a lunch crowd. Lesson learned. Never attempt a nice meal and dining experience on the riverwalk.

Yelp
My wife and I visited Boudro's on our last night vacationing in San Antonio. We both enjoyed our meal and our waiter, Alan, was great! Highly Recommended!

Yelp
Steaks were great. The Blackened ribeye did not disappoint. Richard our server was great and very helpful.

Yelp
One of many restaurants on the river walk. A local I know recommended this place as one of the best and we had a good meal here. Service was great and they make excellent margaritas. You can sit right along the river and enjoy that part of the city. They bring in a lot of ingredients directly from Mexico. The chicken enchiladas and crab tostada are great choices.
google avatar

Yelp
Boudro's has an ideal location by the River Walk, and the food was not bad. We ordered the fried oysters on yuca chips, the fried chicken rib eye, and the shrimp and grits. The fried oysters were tasty, and the meals were very filling. In fact, after eating here, you will want to walk off the meal along the River Walk. Their sangria is also worth trying. Our server was very accommodating, and since it was off-peak season, the restaurant was not busy. However, we were seated at the very back near the restrooms. Overall, aside from its convenient location, the food was just mediocre. If you are near the River Walk, it might be worth a visit for a drink or a quick bite, but do not expect an unforgettable dining experience.
google avatar

Tisch H.

Yelp
Food was very good and ambience is nice. The location is perfect on the Riverwalk. The steak had a great smoky flavor and the herb crusted fish entree was delicious. The seafood cake appetizer was not my favorite but it tasted okay. Overall it's a great place to have dinner with a classy atmosphere.

Yelp
San Antonio Riverwalk is something that needs to be experienced. Doing it while sitting outside a delicious restaurant is just icing on the cake. Boudro''s menu is a steakhouse with a Texas flair to it. The prime rib is their specialty and you can get it several different ways, including grilled which I highly recommend. Don't even think about starting your meal without getting an order of guacamole and chips which is made tableside for you by one of the fabulous servers. The garlic mashed potatoes as a side will leave you wishing for more and their bartenders are making delicious concoctions of whatever suits your pallet. This place is a San Antonio institution and should be on the list of any visit you have planned.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and great location.......Sea scallops appetizer was very good . Server was very courteous and professional. Definitely worth a try when in San Antonio

Yelp
Boudro's was so good. One of the many restaurants along the Riverwalk so we picked Boudro's because of the menu and the reviews. My sister loves her steak while I usually like seafood. We also saw that they make their own guacamole. It was one of their more popular appetizers. It was really good, they keep it more chunky so you get chunks of avocado. I got the Gulf Style Seacakes for my entree. And my sister got the grilled prime rib for her entree. The seacakes were good and the perfect amount for me so I didn't have any leftovers. It was served with a tomato and slaw. The prime rib was good. It was served with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The service was great. Our server answered all our questions and even mentioned all his recommendations. They have outdoor dining along the riverwalk and indoor dining. Personally, I liked sitting along the riverwalk. So we were able to enjoy all the activity happening on the riverwalk. Inside, I felt like it was a bit dark.

Yelp
We made a reservation via resy and got there an hour early and still managed to find a seat. The place was packed on a Saturday night but I really enjoyed the ambiance, with nice romantic lighting and a prime view on the river. We shared the scallops, and I really enjoyed them, but didn't love what came with it (some kind of beans I think). A little overpriced I thought 14oz grilled prime rib was delicious, very peppery but big enough to split our plate and the garlic mashed potatoes was delicious. I was excited to have bread pudding for dessert but honestly was let down on this one. It was too sweet and I could only have one bite. Bummer. My margarita was very meh to be honest. I had 2 margs at other places before and both were better than this one. I didn't finish it. Overall a good spot, quality food for the river, on the pricey side.

Yelp
Always a good time!! Brought the FOUR kids to a Saturday lunch. They thought we were tourists but no, just needed some of the best food on the Riverwalk :). Table side guac, so good... had to get 2. Kids had the lunch filet, and hamburgers and loves it alll. Very yummy fries. I was jonesing for some chicken fried steak and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Yummy!!

Yelp
Great food - excellent service! Convenient on Riverwalk but a classy place. Nice wine list and varied menu.
google avatar

Brittany F.

Yelp
First time to the River Walk and I had this place scoped out. Was on a solo trip. Asked waitress for her rec and she recommended the shrimp and grits. Oh my gosh, I will go back to San Antonio just for this. Now I am not sure if the ruined all other shrimp and grits for me in the future but this dish was so good, I wanted to lick the plate. I did not, not that kind of place!! Was fun to people watch, very live! I will say the bread the serve could use a little elevation, mine tasted a bit stale and cold, minor flaw, not enough to change my overall experience.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
The Bloody Mary and shrimp and grits were PHENOMENAL. seriously, get the shrimp and grits. Jarvis was a wonderful waiter with great suggestions. Highly recommend asking for him too. My husband also really liked his prickly pear margarita and he is not a margarita person.
google avatar

Rey K.

Yelp
Came here for a group conference and they had a premade menu. I have been to the Riverwalk many times but never here. I forgot to take a pic of the southwest caesar salad. The food was delicious. I would definitely come back again. Delicious
google avatar

Ashlee W.

Yelp
The location was great, right on the river walk and plenty to see as you sat by the river. The service was okay...slow to take drink order, slow to take food order and slower to bring everything out. The drinks were great, I had the mojito. The food... nothing special. I had the herb crusted filet that lacked salt and pepper (and other spices). It was cooked nicely but the flavor was so boring... definitely disappointed. The crème brûlée was mediocre. For the price, I was expecting much more from this place. The ambiance was great, lively and fun.
google avatar

Wei T.

Yelp
Our table was right by the river. Very beautiful and romantic. Food/ drink is superb as well. I liked my cocktail French 75 but my friend did not like the signature margarita because of the taste of syrup. We ordered freshly made guacamole, fried oysters, salad, blackened prime rib, cream brûlée, and coconut flan. Everything was perfect. The prime rib is definitely a must. For the price of $47.5, it is too good to be true. Very flavorful and tender. Huge chunk for 2 ppl sharing. This restaurant made an unforgettable highlight of my trip to San Antonio. Make sure you reserve a table in advance otherwise long waiting times.
google avatar

Peter L.

Yelp
Came here for dinner. Conveniently located on the river walk right by commerce. It's a pretty small, intimate restaurant. It wasn't busy going in around 6 pm but it got more packed as the night went on. Food was excellent. I got the herb crusted fish which was phenomenal. Fish of the day was drum. It paired nicely with their chipotle sauce, mushrooms and cous cous. Other members of my party got wood-grilled fish and prime rib which they enjoyed as well. This is def more on the pricier side but perfect for a nice night out.
google avatar

Ozzy O.

Yelp
I came across this restaurant by walking on the Riverwalk and were caught. My attention was the tableside guacamole. The service was amazing. The staff was so nice. Kept checking in on me. The ambience was very much on point with Taxes and the Riverwalk in San Antonio. I really have to get the highlight to that guacamole. It was simply delicious. I could've had more and then have enough space for our main entrée which the enchiladas Were OK but the guacamole you have to have..
google avatar

Yelp
This place was bustling on a Monday as if it were a weekend. The food was incredible and me and the kids loved it all. Service was great, and we sat half inside half outside, loved the river walk experience.

Yelp
Back again to celebrate 28 years with my soul mate. We got there right before the 7:00 reservations hit and scored a back table. Then it got packed. The poor server with the guacamole-making cart could barely get around. Our server had just turned 21 and was very nice and cute. We started with an Old Fashioned, very nice. For dinner the wife had the wood smoked drum with garlic mashers. I ate 1/2 of both, delicious. I ordered the pork tenderloin in jam served with jalapeño grits. Also delicious. We were very happy to see a few TX wines on their list as well as a nice selection from Paso Robles CA. We had a Becker Cab with dinner. We finished off with a Crème Brûlée. Great evening.

Yelp
Solid four stars! The food is amazing! Service is great tables are crammed in there together and the AC could blow colder but solid four stars none the less. Food: the food is amazing. The table side guacamole so amazing! So fresh and good. The fried oysters were good too. Now the gumbo is where it starts to get amazing. The food here is an easy five stars. The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection. Like a real tenderloin tender lol. Full of flavor and simply perfect. The mashed potato's were so dam good. My god. Prob some of the best mashed potatoes I've had. Also I was so full I didn't get to try the shrimp. The tables are packed in tight! If you are sitting against the wall, good luck. Also with it being so jam packed I would hope the AC would be cooler. All in all this was a great experience and the food was amazing. Also the service was top notch. Cameron did an excellent job! I'll be back soon.
google avatar

Maria G.

Yelp
We had a nice lunch on the riverwalk! The ambiance was nice the service was good. The guacamole was delicious and they make it table side but the prickly pear margaritas stole the show delicious! We ordered a few items from the menu that were pretty tasty. Would recommend if you're ever in San Antonio.

Jim C.

Yelp
Server was awesome. Jarvis is great. Remembered me by name from a month prior. Very informative and he really turned a good meal into a great meal. Great spot to eat on the river walk. Great people watching.
google avatar

Yelp
Saw this location on the riverwalk and decided to stop. I'm glad I did. The inside is a little nicer but the outside is great for a casual dinner. Sat outside right by the fan and it was perfect. Had the prickly pear margarita. Not overly sweet and really good. The shrimp cocktail came with two sauces and a cucumber which was nice to have after the heavier sauces. The quail was delicious. The right amount of food. If I had to say anything negative it's just the veggies are drowning in butter and oil and slightly overcooked but everything else was good! Highly recommend

Yelp
What a nice spot to spend an hour or so! This place was recommended by a local couple we know from work and they were spot on! It's a great menu and the food is amazing! Our server did not let us go without! He ensured we were well taken care of the entire time and kept the cocktails and food coming! Speaking purely of location, this is a very popular spot, so I recommend making reservations if coming by for dinner. We were actually lucky they had an outdoor riverwalk table available for lunch. The place was packed, and for a reason! What a wonderful spot to spend an hour or so along the beautiful Christmas decorated San Antonio riverwalk! Try the Tableside guacamole (pictured) yum!
google avatar

Shea T.

Yelp
Presentation and flavor is great. The building flavors of the shrimp and grits sticks out most. It had a creamy cheesy texture too. The herb-crusted fillet is perfectly cooked with a nice crisp on the outside. I'm not a fan of pearl couscous, but this dish was balanced regarding textures (fish, couscous, mushrooms). The Boudro burger came with all of the fixings (gherkins, guacamole, and cheese) and thin fries. Get the table side guacamole too I didn't have any cocktails, but the options are abundant, along with wine selections by the bottle or glass. If you're not into spirits, get the limeade! Service is pleasant, professional, and timely. The noise level is average and you can sit inside & still feel the vibe from the river walk. Good for any occasion or just because you want to skip cooking.

Yelp
We had a great early meal after a tiring tour day of walking. Melanie was prompt and ever present. My wife had the Shrimp Cocktail which although not spectacular was great. Boudro's is known in-part for their Smoked Stuffed Quail which I ordered. Great dish!!! Only issue was, how do u eat it? Was successful with first one (knife n fork) but the 2nd one (next day lunch) I attacked with my fingers ... MUCH EASIER. But messy. GREAT flavor and the stuffing, potatoes and squash were tasty and great as well. Sat right alongside the Riverwalk which was great as well. Extremely nice evening!!!

Yelp
We are spending five days in San Antonio with friends of ours. We were really looking forward to visiting the River Walk and were not disappointed at the beauty and uniqueness of that area. We decided we would like to have a good lunch somewhere on the River Walk and were disappointed to find such low rated reviews of many of the restaurants. One of the most highly rated restaurants was Boudro's, so that's where we decided to go. Wow, we were not disappointed. We had a fantastically knowledgeable and friendly server. We were seated at a wonderful table that gave us a great view of the Riverwalk. Prices were very fair. The quality and presentation of each of our meals was excellent. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas Verdes. The meal could not have been any better, the black beans were phenomenal and the enchiladas had the most delicious sauce on them. My wife ordered the crabcakes which were a starter and there were three silver dollar sized crabcakes served with a corn remolaude and jicama salad. For dessert I ordered the bread pudding which was very good. I also ordered coffee which was some of the better tasting coffee I've ever had in a restaurant and my wife ordered a cappuccino which was also very very good with a scrumptious foam which my wife said was so good she used a spoon to get every last bit out of the cup. Putting it all together it was a fabulous lunch and we would visit this restaurant again in the future.

Brian B.

Yelp
2 out of 3 of our steaks we're way overcooked. Service was spotty. They sat us at a table outdoors tucked into a corner by another restaurant which was on a downward slope. The ambiance was pretty terrible. We ordered modifications for one meal for our son-none of the changes were made. Guacamole was delicious-this was the only highlight of our meal. Our tab was over $200 for a family of four-a lot of our meal went untouched. Would not recommend.

Yelp
You're definitely paying for the atmosphere and location when coming here. The food was bland and overpriced in my husband and I's opinion, but the drinks were pretty great. The service was mediocre, nothing to write home about but took care of our needs. Overall, it's a nice date night place right on the riverwalk in the heart of SA.

Yelp
In town for business and my hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Riverwalk. As most everyone in San Antonio knows, the Riverwalk is probably the biggest tourist area downtown, so most all restaurants there are a not that good. Boudro's had one of the higher ratings on Yelp, so off I went. I was seated outside, they do have interior seating good available. The service was good and on point. The Cadillac margaritas was okay and generic. The Cesar salad to start was good, but some anchovy slices would have elevated it. The double cut porkchop was cooked very good and the ancho / pineapple sauce cooked on it was tasty. The sweet potato/chorizo hash side was good the first few bites, but after that, it was too rich, and I pushed it aside. The few onion rings that came with it was not good, and they should leave that off. The pinot noir I ordered with it paired well. I finished with a Louisiana bread pudding topped with a whiskey sauce. That was tasty but pushed me over the edge. LOL! For the price and considering I was in the heart of touristville, the meal was pretty good, and I would return again.

Yelp
The experience my husband and I had here was wonderful from start to finish! We got to sit outside and enjoy the ambiance of the Riverwalk :) Jessica, our waitress was FANTASTIC and I would tell anyone going to this restaurant to ask for her! If I was to recommend items, I would say definitely go for the tableside guacamole, even if you're not a fan of guacamole. I don't care for avacados, tomatoes or onions and I actually enjoyed theirs! I'm gonna try my hand at it at home and see if I can replicate it Another item I would say splurge for is the blackened prime rib. It's roasted and grilled, which gives a melt in your mouth experience Definitely make reservations though, they are quite busy and book up quick!!

Yelp
I was visiting San Antonio for a birthday- We decided to come here for dinner as we heard pretty good reviews of this place! I wanted to like this place so much more than I did. Im not sure if they were having an off night- but the food wasn't very good or flavorful. The pictures of the food look great- just the quality and taste weren't. We started off with the Prickly Pear Margarita- it tasted the exact same as our hotel bar frozen margarita drink but cost $6 more. I couldn't taste the pear part at all- it was good but I thought it would be homemade vs out of a machine. We ordered the tableside guacamole and cococut shrimp for appetizers. They are famous for both of these. The guac was prepared in front of us and he went over what was in it. The guac had a weird flavor to me- we think it was the roasted tomatoes but it had an odd taste- like smoky. And it also tasted bland like not seasoned or well balanced at all. The tortilla chips were off too and slightly stale. I was shocked at how bad it was!! The coconut shrimp were good but needed an actual dipping sauce. It had a tiny bit of a sauce at the bottom of the dish but it needed more- they were dry. The shrimp did taste fresh. For the entrees we both decided to get fish. I got the Blackened Gulf Fish Filet and opted for mashed potatoes instead of roasted potatoes. We also got the Wood Grilled Atlantic Salmon. Both of the fish weren't cooked right and the Salmon tasted off. Parts of my fish were crispy on the outside parts but inside didn't seem done. The potatoes and garlic spinach/veggies did have flavor, but the fish was such a disappointment. My friend only had a few bites of her meal because she disliked the salmon and the mustard sauce that was on it. The sauce tasted really sweet when she was expecting more savory. Our waiter was very nice, however the food was such a disappointment. For these prices I would have expected way better quality/taste. I would not come back here. Overall experience 2/5

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with outdoor seating on the Riverwalk. Our server, Grace, was very helpful with questions about the menu and everything was great! Table side Guac is a must!

Yelp
The waiter suggested the grilled Prime Rib and it was excellent. The scallops & boiled shrimp with sauce was right on. We we went large with the bottle of Zinfandel that paired well with the delicious meal. The Cream Brulee & Bread Pudding did not disappoint us. Make reservations for this popular Riverwalk restaurant on the weekends.

Yelp
We had lunch here and was able to get patio seating. Not right next to the river, but the patio area, which still had an amazing view of the river walk. This place definitely tried to maximize their seating. Tables and seats were very close to each other. We ordered the salmon and the highly recommended shrimp and grits. I'm normally picky on shrimp and grits, but a friend highly recommended it, so I decided to give it a try. You will not regret it! It was packed with cajun flavors, shrimps were a good size, and grits were perfectly cooked like smooth mashed potatoes. The salmon was cooked with cajun flavors and came with a lemony cream sauce and mashed potatoes. The lemon cream sauce went well with the salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly moist, tender, and flakey. One of the best salmons I've ever had!
