Bougainviller Hotel

A nicely decorated, french-style and extraordinary little hotel at first glance. Big and bright rooms, some with veranda. Still, fairly overpriced for what else it is offering - which is practically nothing. Bar and restaurant always closed, mini bar empty, rooms warm and humid with air-con not working. No hygienic products in the bathroom, no hairdryer. Staff at reception friendly, but unable to come up with solutions. It's a pity, this place does have so much potential. Maybe it has seen better times in the past.

I had a great time at the hotel recently! The room was comfy, the staff was friendly, and the location was perfect for exploring. The amenities were top-notch, and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'd definitely go back!

Stayed here for 1 night for business. Except for the neglected swimming (dip) pool which was nasty and laden with algae, the hotel grounds and room were extremely clean and well cared for. Nicely designed lodge with very friendly staff. Sizeable rooms and food was tasty and didn’t take too long. Quiet spot in an urban area. Very good value for money will definitely stay again.

This hotel is very special, I've been in Uganda off and on for many years. The bougainviller is very peaceful, even as I write this I hear the birds chirping and the Beautiful Garden in the big trees that are within the compound. The place is like a well manicured natural garden, with tasteful walkways meandering through the the property leading to what feels like very private accommodations, each with a little balcony. ||||They have stacked stone walls, beautiful tiles, and there's attention to detail everywhere you look. The staff are the best I have ever had in East africa, so accommodating and helpful. The food is excellent, and a really good value. I just love this place and I think you will too. I highly recommend it.

The place had good customer service with the best Italian designs and a good view overall their food was really delicious with a very clean environment the hotel totally hit my exceptions thank you so much i will surely come back

It is a very beautiful small boutique hotel with french flair, wonderful place to start a journey through Uganda. Lovingly furnished rooms, very good service.|There is a restaurant with a la carte menu, very delicious. Supermarket and shopping mall in 200 m distance with ATM and MTN to equip yourself with groceries, money and sim card for the trip.

They have 2 wings at this hotel. I got the old wing which had dirty tap water and the lighting in the room was horrible. Only after threatening to check out did I get a better room which I had been informed earlier were fully booked. I got racist vybes the entire time. Would not want to experience the place ever again.
