Boughshed Restaurant

Decent food and incredible service. My partner and I ordered Eggs Benedict and brioche with spinach and mushroom with sausage and a chai latte. The staff offered to get us another plate with one more pair of cutleries. Didn’t want to trouble the staff so we politely declined.

Food was good. I’m not sure what the bad reviews are. The only thing that is missing is the chilli that they have at the Monkey Bar, it’s that good! The staff are really friendly too and service was good too. The kids even ate their food before their chips for a change off the kids menu!

Service was really good. Everyone is very friendly and keeps you updated with how long your food will be. Food was delicious. Is more pricey, but is decent size portions.

The food served was a mixture of good and very poor. My pork belly was very dry and overcooked, another person at the table had fish that was also very overcooked. I was hungry after a long day traveling and ate it, perhaps I should have immediately sent it back. It seemed to be difficult to get an acknowledgement that the dishes were substandard. Food - chips were good. Fish and chips - fish was good but a bit too small, had 4 sticks of it. Chocolate mud cake was good, not too sweet but a little tad dry. Flat white with oat milk was average. We upsized to a mug for $1 more. Nice of the service staff to give the suggestion. We went at non peak hours so service was OK. Floor was a little dirty. Ambience was nicely decorated.

We had an epic family afternoon soaking up the magic of Monkey Mia crystal-clear waters, dolphins cruising by, my son was loving every minute. We wrapped up the day with a beautiful dinner at the Boughshed Restaurant. The crocodile bites and fresh oysters were a hit, and the prawn linguine was packed with flavour. Paired it all with a crisp glass of wine while watching the sunset was unforgettable.

Absolutely amazing. Not sure were to start. 1st staff can I just give a huge compliment and amazing praise to ALL staff members working @ Boughshed, especially the females. They were all absolutely killing it. Great communication amongst staff members was great to see.. we stayed over 3 nights and regularly visited this venue and I honestly can’t fault it. You have the availability to pre order take away coffees and other cold beverages. All food including breaky, lunch and dinner was amazing. “The breaky burger was amazing. Get a side of hash browns to put in it” dinner was fantastic. I had the chicken Tikka and it was lovely. The low stars given to this venue after reading is ridiculous lol. The venue was great and as I said ALL staff member were absolutely amazing and I can’t thank them enough for their hospitality

We booked The Boughshed months in advance after hearing great things. The food was decent but didn’t quite live up to the hype or the price tag. However the service was very good and staff were accommodating. That said, we personally preferred the more relaxed vibe of the Monkey Bar inside the park. The setting felt better, and the food coming out there looked more tempting.
