I had the pleasure of dining at this French restaurant over the weekend, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The menu was beautifully curated, offering a perfect balance of classic French flavours and creative touches. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection — rich, flavorful, and elegantly presented. The escargot, and steak was an absolute standout, bursting with authentic taste that transported me straight to France. The service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a memorable experience. Nicholas was our main waiter, and his recommendations were spot-on and made the evening even more enjoyable. What really made the night special was the overall ambience. Whether it was the charming décor, the intimate lighting, or the subtle background music, everything came together to create a dining experience that felt refined yet comfortable. This is easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time, and I cannot wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic French cuisine with impeccable service.

We celebrated our 3-year anniversary at Bouillon L’Entrecôte and it was beyond our expectations. From start to finish, the whole experience was wonderful. Every dish we tried was exceptional, but the escargots were a real highlight – rich, flavourful, and perfectly prepared. The steak was cooked to a beautiful medium rare and the staff went above and beyond by recommending the perfect wine to pair with it. Their knowledge and attentiveness really stood out, making us feel well looked after the entire evening. To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the night even more special. The combination of amazing food, warm service, and a charming atmosphere made this a night to remember. Highly recommend Bouillon L’Entrecôte for anyone looking for an authentic French dining experience in Sydney.

Came here to celebrate Father’s Day with a group of 4 adults and 4 young children <5 years of age. Menu didn’t cater too well for kids but that was our choice to bring them as we really wanted to try a French restaurant. The food was impeccable especially the escargot sauce and the desert options were so large and delicious. Of course you need to expect the prices to match the food and service - bill came to an eye watering $950 but once in a while is worth it.

Very very good food! I knocked off one star just because our creme brulee was not good at all. On the other hand, ALL of our savoury dishes were amazing! Portion size was good and food came out fast which is always a plus! Highly recommend the Crab bisque and the French onion gratin, but def try their other dishes you won't be disappointed! FYI tiny tables and the main dining area inside is up a flight of stairs. Can get very loud and our table was directly under the aircon so we did get a bit chilly.

How did I know this place? Hubby picked it and took me there back in May.. so lovely. I have a soft spot for french cuisine. Especially when it comes to escargot. Is a must order for me and I'm always looking for the best one. Not too much garlic, not too much butter, not too small.. just right. That's what I was served on the night. Delicious!! Next up, french onion soup.. not too much cheese, just the right amount that melts and not too salty. Another dish hit the spot. We definitely overindulge with our mains followed dessert. Wow! The service was beautiful and the decor was just so lovely. We loved every single dishes. Thanks for looking after us team.

A touch of old Parisian style, food was always consistent and delicious! The service here is very polite, prompt yet very professional. I can see myself revisiting again and again. The dessert was absolutely fantastic and my favourite!

went to celebrate my mom’s birthday and was thoroughly disappointed. The food was subpar at best with the only highlight being the escargot. The rest of the food that we had was Salmon (cooked nicely but cream too heavy), Quail was too sweet, bread was basic. The most disappointing was the steak sandwich with fries…it was so basic and one note that I really really hated it so much. The whole meal wasn’t worth it at all. Additionally the service crew sucks, when we were shown our seats, they ignored us for twenty minutes before taking our orders. Then haphazardly set the cutlery. Also as it was my mom’s birthday , they provided a complementary ice cream and the male staff member just plopped the ice cream without any care on the table. For the price, I expected better overall. Avoid at all costs.

The food was incredible however we ordered the steak medium and it came out more blue. I couldn’t recommend the tartare, oysters, and both of the duck mains more. The service was good and we were regularly checked on however our sparkling water was regularly replaced without us being aware of the cost (it was also not listed on the menu), similarly baguette came out that we didn’t properly order which we also got charged for. Overall incredible food however be aware of the prices.
