To be honest, this dining experience didn’t quite live up to my expectations. Location: The location is great — very close to Circular Quay, within walking distance, and surrounded by beautiful city views. La Vie en Rose: Highly recommend! It’s delicious, with a light rose aroma that’s very refreshing. Grilled Sirloin: The steak had a slight off taste, the fries were overcooked, and the homemade sauce was a bit too bitter for my liking. Les Escargot: Some of the escargots weren’t cleaned properly — I could still see black edges. Overall, the dishes didn’t really impress me, but our server, Lucas, was very attentive and made the experience more enjoyable.

The food here is absolutely delicious—truly authentic French cuisine that made us feel like we were dining in the heart of Paris. We came here to celebrate our anniversary, and everything was just perfect. The baked escargot was a standout: rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding—especially Lucas, who took such thoughtful care of us throughout the evening. He even surprised us with an adorable little dessert and a sparkling candle, which truly touched our hearts. The prices are very reasonable, and the ambiance is quiet, elegant, and full of charm. It was such a memorable and heartwarming experience. Highly recommended!

Solid place for great Steak and wine. The decor of the restaurant is very 40s and 50s filled with posters, paintings and music playing from those era, The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. The oyster was very fresh and not too funky. The steaks was perfectly cooked. The aged steak was smoky, simple seasoning, tender and nice chew. The Rossini steak was very tender, the sauce complimented it well and foie gras added more flavour. Finally the upside down Apple tart was great. Love the sweetness mostly from the apples and was not too sweet. It was soft, delicate, and went well with a long black.

The staff squeezed me in when the restaurant was fully booked as a solo guest, and ensured I was in and out within the time period so I could dine before the next guests needed their table. Lovely treat while away for work, enjoyed the duck (cooked to perfection) and creme brulee. Very busy restaurant so would advise booking normally!

What a charming little restaurant that we had to book weeks in advance to secure a table reservation. We had an 8pm dinner after exploring Circular quay. The restaurant was warm, cozy and packed. Our dishes were impressive but so were the plates served to the tables next to us. Overall, a lovely dining experience that transports you to some bistro in Paris

I had a fantastic dining experience at Bouillon L’Entrecote. I ordered the escargots, steak frites, and canard à l’orange. The escargots were rich and flavorful, and the steak frites were perfectly cooked and crispy. However, the most impressive dish was definitely the canard à l’orange — tender, juicy, and the sauce was beautifully balanced between sweet and savory. The service was attentive, and the classic French ambiance made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Food was good hearty and honest if not decadent. The Escargots were good but more on the chewy side than soft and tender. Steaks were done perfect, tender and with wonderful steak flavours. Fries were perfect. Scallops were served in a very unique way I have never seen scallops served before and am told by dining companions it was very good Restaurant was full and very busy while I was there but they found us a spot without a booking regardless. The waitress was very good and super efficient which meant she could also be very attentive despite how busy it was that night. She even recommended a great wine that paired perfectly with the meal As we did not book, we ended up sitting outside which was fine but did mean we missed out on the ambience of their inside sitting Pricing for what we had is on the average for similar fare and location in Sydney. Definitely would go back again

I really enjoyed all the dishes that I ordered, including the cocktail. The decor in the restaurant looked really aesthetic as well. We booked a day before, and even then, the time slots were limited. We got the 8:30 dinner time slot. That worked for us. The customer service was on point, and staff were consistently checking in with us to ensure we were well looked after. Out of all the dishes, I really enjoyed the Hand Cut 36 months Aged Black Label Ibérico/ Cebo Jamón, Paris Mash, Truffle Oil and the Les Saint Jacques. The bread and butter was really delicious as well. I would really like to return and try the other dishes on the menu, as well as the lunch menu in the future.
