This review is for tourists venturing out of Buttes-Chaumont looking to explore a different part of Paris. I don’t think the locals want us to know about this place - the ratings are rather low but the queue has not stopped the entire time we were here. It’s the busiest boulangerie we’ve seen and this is our second week in Paris. The quiche is amazingly tasty and soft and they serve Nespresso coffee. Extensive selection.

Too expensive for what it is, I would find another bakery if you can. No complains on service, necessarily fast on Sunday morning to keep the line moving. But the store is badly laid out: in the queue, you can’t see the windows which forces you to pick what you want in an instant. This is unpleasant and rushy, while you’ve been waiting for a while. To top it all, the croissants and pains au chocolat are the tiniest ever and not noteworthy. The brioche feuillettée is something like 9€ (really); and it’s not worth it. Sorry but I can’t recommend your products and store to others.

Had gone around Paris to try different Flan. Reasonable price at £4.50. I would say it’s better than Mille & Un at Rue Saint-Placide. Must try Boulangarie. The assistant even gave us 3 puffs to try out. So nice of her👍🏻

This is one of my favorite boulangeries in Paris. The pastries are amazingly delicious and fresh, and the price is reasonable! It’s always packed with people in line purchasing, the reason is obvious! Highly recommended!

Lovely patisserie/boulangerie conveniently located next to the Jourdain Metro station. Their almond croissants are to die for. Espresso is excellent, with thick crema. Baguettes and breads are fresh and tasty. And the staff are efficient and friendly. Highly recommended!

Extremely cozy and clean. The sandwiches are amazing, tasty and crispy. The cappuccino and the croissant are the best I’ve ever tasted. Congrats to the owners.

Yelp
Delicious pastries. Award winning croissants, pain au chocolat, cinnamon rolls and apple filled pastries. Tasty salads and quiche also.

Yelp
We stayed down the street from this bakery and every morning fresh croissants and cappuccinos helped start our day. Try the pain du chocolat and their fresh pressed orange juice.

Yelp
This bakery provides us good breakfast and snacks. It was interesting that when we went late on a day (7pm) most of the bread was gone! The baguettes were awesome and I realized why folks buy them fresh everyday. We tried several of the baked goods and none of them disappointed.

Yelp
Popped in because we were at the cheese shop next door, and wished we'd bought more of their Baguette Levain! Gorgeous sourdough flavor, still warm from the oven. Would definitely recommend based on that one baguette alone.

Yelp
5 stars for the palmier. The other pastries they have are just alright. Nothing special about it.

Yelp
I was staying around the corner at a friends and recommended this place. WOW!! I was expecting unhelpful stereotypical french service but the lady was wonderful and kind. The products they had as well were all delicious

Yelp
In a city like Paris, it's hard to figure out which Boulangerie to go to because they are literally on every corner! I decided to try this place because it is close to where I am living, and the line was long :) So far I've only had the baguettes and pain au chocolats but they are AMAZING. And yes, I've tried a couple other Boulangerie's and I truly rank this one at the top! No, they don't really speak english, and I am not very good at french, but they are very nice and don't mind. If you ever happen to be on rue de Belleville, go to Au 140.

Yelp
Maybe because this bakery was really close to where I was staying (via AirBnB) in Paris off of the brown line at the Jourdain stop that I loved coming here. They don't really speak English here, but if you point out the things you want, they will give it to you. They have gotten awards for the baguette and it's pretty standard for the type of baguettes you can find all over Paris (a little less than a Euro). What is absolutely AMAZING...times five hundred thousand!! is their palmier. It's humongous, a little bit pricy (but what isn't in Paris, right?), and absolutely delectable. I probably had at least one a day while I was there (yes, I know the butter content in that...but I was on vacation!!). I still dream about that Palmier...le sigh. MUST TRY!!
