Boulangerie

Very very tasty food and comfortable prices, not to sweet, especialy i liked sirniki (i asked without sugar powder on the top) and ленивые вареники. Price are very low compare with another similar places. Nice atmosphere. Staff are simple people, but everybody good working their jobs.

Recently visited the cafe. Very nice inside and outside, beautiful and delicious bakery. Ordered cappuccino and small cakes with cream. The service is ok, in the beginning we couldn’t understand the menu and the staff was explaining it 50/50. What I liked that during the pandemic it’s controlled who wear masks and if someone comes without mask, the staff asks them to wear it on. Safety first. You order near the counter and when it’s ready, you need to come and take it to the table. You can pay by card and cash.

The cafe looks nice from inside and outside. However, once you decide to try it the perception is changing. Me and my friend were waiting in front of a bar to place our order and four (!!!!!) employees were talking among themselves ignoring us. It lasted quite a while. Once we got their attention - and they weren’t happy that we interrupted them - the service was so slow that it was hard to believe. I hope it was a one time accident and is not a usual attitude to customers, but I wasn’t courageous enough to give it a second chance.

After I paid I was given a number which I took along with my tray and put on my table. The cashier girl started yelling on me saying “No one would find you at that table! Return tray back to the cashier table and then we will bring it to you.” I was embarrassed. It’s my first time in “Boulangerie” and I don’t know how it works here. While the food is great, the customer service needs to be improved.

Nice bakery. I really like its croissants. There is plenty to choose from for the breakfast. Coffee is decent. Medium prices.

I haven't tried any bakery, however, I did trid coffee, and it was so-so I would say( The service was ok!

I can't even start to describe just how good this place is. All the way around! If you are up for a French/Italian breakfast, brunch, or lunch experience in Kiev: Come on by to Boulangerie.
