Boulangerie Pâtisserie La Mauvaise Herbe

One of my BEST vegan bites while in Paris was here!!! I heard about this place having amazing baked goods & I stopped by! It’s a little off the beaten path of Paris “tourist area” but vegans- DO NOT SKIP THIS SPOT!!! Everything was eye catching & beautifully displayed! I got a vegan croissant that was so good I ate it before getting a photo! (which was massive, buttery & delicious!) I also had their vegan quiche which in my opinion was the best vegan quiche I had in Paris (I tried a couple other vegan bakeries) I also grabbed a bag of vegan madeleines to go which ended up also being one of my fave bites during my entire trip! So delicious! Super authentic vegan French bakery you must try! There is a park right down the street to take your goodies to enjoy as they didn’t have seats to eat at!

This is the best boulangerie in Paris. The offer a diverse selection of delicious viennoiserie, including all of the classics (like croissants, pain au chocolat, chausson aux pommes) and fun treats that are harder to find like (croissant praliné, pain suisse, etc.) — all vegan and all delicious! They also have great breads and savory options — the focaccia is truly divine — as well as a stunning selection of patisserie. The staff are also so kind and the prices are very reasonable. This is my happy place and a must-visit for vegans and non-vegans alike. I would give more stars if I could.

Delighted to have found this fully vegan bakery that has opened close to my partner's place in the 18th. The selection in the photo was under €20 which is good value for Paris, and barely any vegan tax at all (I'm looking at you, Land And Monkeys). The 'flan pâtissier' vanilla tart and strawberry cream 'Fraisier' were both absolutely excellent, easily as good as any of the non-vegan versions I've ever had. The quiche lorraine wasn't very quichey, but was very bacony thanks to La Vie lardons and thus was also very nice. Pain au raisin was excellent, and great value at €1.50. The base of the 'entremet fleur d'oranger amande' was a little too dense, needs fluffier aquafaba maybe - but the rest of it was absolutely delicious. They also have organic baguette 'tradition' for just €1. Very friendly service in English too.

Fantastic pastries and very friendly personal. The almond pastry was especially good!

100% vegan! Buy one of everything they make. You can’t go wrong here. Excellent service as well.

Very affordable and delicious. Location is not central, but definitely worth the extra time! (Also better than Land & Monkeys)
