Boulder Garden Resort

This is a great place to stay – it truly feels like you’re in the heart of the forest. Waking up to the sound of birds humming in the early morning was such a peaceful experience. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to relax and unwind from a busy lifestyle. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. The only area that could use some improvement is the rooms – a little upgrade would make the stay even better. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would definitely come back!

Beautiful hotel. We were unable to book accomodation at the hotel due to it being fully booked so we visited the restaurant for dinner and returned for breakfast the next morning as we fell in love with the food, ambience, serenity and natural beauty. The manager Anand was extremely accomodating and kind. I will definitely return and hope to stay at the hotel as well. There are a few stairs to climb to enter and there may be little phone reception (which is common in the area) but its a beautiful escape

Excellent service with accompanying the location. Purely built without disturbing the nature, mean allow the nature to be there as it is. Really iconic place to visit. Food is really wonderful and served under a rock restaurant. Really wonderful. 👌

This is a very special place to stay and if you want to see the Sinharaja forest. It has an air of mystery and the awesome rock is the highlight. There are only a few rooms, no WiFi but the remote surroundings have a great feel. We saw monkeys and a mongoose wandering around. The local food was very tasty and they tried hard with a 7 course dinner banquet but the Western food was not what we came for! The staff can not do enough as they run around trying to make a comfortable stay and we were happy with friendly vibe.

Boulder Garden. I think the only word for this hotel is extraordinary. We wouldn’t have wanted to miss this experience and enjoyed being immersed in the forest, but three nights there were definitely enough. The manager, Edward, made us feel very welcome and did everything that he could to make our stay enjoyable. We were the only guests on our second and third nights, the food was excellent, he decorated our table with flower patterns and the candlelit dining experience under the great overhanging boulder felt really special

Stayed at the Boulder Garden for 2 nights whilst visiting Sinharaja forest. An incredible place built amongst the boulders as it's name suggests. True highlight was the amazing restaurant under the boulder over hang - as we were the only guests present we had a special 7 course meal presented to us. My wife is vegetarian and this was easily catered for. Plenty of wildlife around which was an added bonus for us. The room itself was a little rustic shall we say but we loved it, perfect for us. We would happily stay again.

A very nice, beautiful, and different place to spend a vacation. The staff is very friendly. The food is very delicious. It's a good place to get a different experience.

Very unique resort , built like a castle style in-between natural rocks
