16 Best Bars in Bermuda, From Front Street Dives to Waterfront Local Breweries | Condé Nast Traveler

"First, let’s talk about the elephant in the room. This neighborhood sports bar sits above the clubhouse at Turtle Hill Golf Course, a stunning ocean view par three that’s on the grounds of the long-closed Fairmont Southampton Resort (alas, an unfortunate victim of the pandemic). The good news is the massive resort has plans to reopen in Spring 2026 (fingers crossed!), but until then, you can still eat typical pub grub, drink locally brewed beers, and watch your favorite game—or any game, for that matter—on the enormous flat screen TVs that are hung throughout this spacious, sunlit bar. One could get lost while reading its limitless drinks menu, with homemade hard lemonades, sangrias, shooters, spritzes, martinis, margaritas, and its very own “Energy Bar” featuring cocktails made with flavored Red Bull. Keep it simple and stick with a beer, since this place has six on tap (including the locally brewed Citra Smash) and 13 others in the bottle." - David LaHuta

Boundary Sports Bar & Grill, Fairmont Southampton, Southampton Parish, Bermuda - Bar Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"What's the story behind this place? When Boundary Sports Bar & Grille opened at the Fairmont Southampton in 2017, it marked the completion of the hotel’s $1 million rejuvenation project, which considerably upgraded the majority of its bars and restaurants. Now this barbecue joint is a fully renovated sports bar where folks can watch their favorite game—or any game, for that matter—on the enormous wall-mounted TVs. In between innings, grab a seat in a low-slung, leather lounge chair or take your beer to the shuffleboard tables. Cool. Who tends to hang out here? Golfers—the bar overlooks Turtle Hill, an executive par-three course—families staying at the Fairmont Southampton, and sports fans here for the Southern barbecue and the big-screen TVs. What should we be drinking? Stick with a beer—Boundary has nearly 20 by the bottle and six on tap, including a couple of local options. What's on the food menu? Traditional Southern barbecue cooked low and slow and smoked onsite in a house blend of mesquite, cherry wood, maple, and hickory. If you’re here with a group, opt for the BBQ Family Platter, which comes with three proteins (say, St. Louis pork ribs, American Wagyu brisket, and chargrilled wahoo with chimichurri and lemon) and two sides (like jalapeño-cheddar cornbread or smoked Bermuda carrots). How's the service? This sports bar is owned and operated by one of the busiest corporate resorts on the island, so everyone—from the bartenders to the bussers—knows exactly what they’re doing. Hospitality is on grand display. So why would you recommend this place, whether or not you're staying at the Fairmont Southampton? There's no better place to watch your favorite team while on vacation. Thankfully for sports fans with family in tow, this is great place to bring the kids—little ones can play table games, including an enormous version of Jenga, while they wait for pizza, mac n’ cheese, and burgers." - David LaHuta

Food was mid, the place looks great though. Issue was with the service; was waiting 2 hours from being served for food, table water took over an hour after being asked 3 times and despite orders being written down after all but a few items had finally arrived the last items were still being asked what had been ordered up to 3 times repetitively and needed to be cooked fresh (mac and cheese side ended up being brought out ~10 minutes after everyone had finished mains). Overall disappointing. Random extra burger got brought out and put on the bill even though we said it wasnt ours and didnt eat it, chips brought out with mains were cold. Generally ok if the service was a tad faster and more organised

Compared to the reviews i have seen, our experience is totally different. It is very disappointing and frustrating. We came in today as walk-ins. We did not manage to pre-book. We understand. I know sometimes restaurants get packed on weekends. The host welcomed us nicely. She was good. She then informed us that only outdoor seatings were available. We have seen the outdoor seating before the entrance and it wasnt appealing hence why she offered the balcony. When we reached the balcony, we are disappointed already since the tables and chairs are mainly for drinks type only, more like a coffee table. The host just seated us without telling anything. The balcony was not shaded and it is a bit sunny. It took almost half an hour before a waiter arrived. They might have forgotten us. When he came to our table, we felt like he is rushing us to order. He just took our order literally, no upselling, no mention of specials. We asked him to open the umbrella as there was direct sunlight, he did it but it was like he was just forced to do it. After he took the order, we waited a longer time even just for the drinks to arrive. Our drinks arrived after 18 minutes on my clock. He gave us tap water but he did not ask us if we need still or maybe sparkling instead. Just assumption? I am okay with tap but we thought of sparkling but it never happened. The food came in 14 minutes after the drinks was served. We finished the food and nobody even bothered to check how are we. Nobody asked the guests if they enjoyed it. Just wow. We arranged our own plates after eating but nobody’s coming. It took another half hour before someone takes our plates. He offered desserts but we are very disappointed already so we asked for the check. Check came in very fast. Wow!!! But he did not come back on an acceptable time. It took 20minutes again and we decided that this is enough. We stood up from the table and reach the hostess to pay. So we paid there and the server was like no politeness to us. Very disappointing. Pizza - You only use tortilla crust. That is not even a pizza. The toppings are not even. One slice have all the dressing on it. The dipping sauce is very tasteless. Fries - Very cold when it reached to our table. Could be hanging from the kitchen for a long time. Burger - We asked for medium but it was almost rare. And the bun is too chewy. The sauce is too sweet. Worst burger ever. Cornbread - Was that even a cornbread? Very dry with no taste at all. The drinks were a mess too. It is very disappointing experience. Others might have a good experience but ours was not. It is my first time here and i am with a friend who has been here before. Both of us left the restaurant very disappointed. What a shame.

Here for New Year’s Day. Waited half an hour to get water. Waited an hour and a half for our food. Horrible iced tea. Menu is misleading. Wrap says avocado. By avocado they mean guacamole with more red onion than avocado. So if you have an onion sensitivity, which I do, you don’t get to eat. Beautiful view. Would not return.

Staff made it so much better, we entertained each other with jokes and shared stories. They were very knowledgeable of the menu and patient helping me to make a choice of the meal or apps we wanted to try. The Atmosphere is also very charming, and refreshing with the scenic outlooks.

Burger was good, lamb kebabs had a pepper on them that was so hot it ruined the entire dish. Menu did not mention any heat in the dish. I mentioned to the waitress and she didn’t know what was in the kebab or seem to care how physically painful the dish was🥵. Too expensive , for what you pay you can have a great meal down on the water.

I went here on a solo visit, because my wife was working. I wanted to have dinner with her, but I ended up going alone. I ordered the soft tacos with pulled pork and it was absolutely delicious. I also ordered one drink, and it was made to perfection. I will be going again and this time I will be taking my wife so she can experience this place as well.

Delicious food! Didn’t take a picture of the shrimp appetizer or vegetable side, but those were great as well. Perfect pit stop after a round of golf.
