Bourbon Barrel Retreats

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary on the bourbon trail. Bourbon Barrel Retreats was the perfect stay for the two of us. After a long day, we really enjoyed how quiet the area was and of course the hot tub. The location was just right as it’s not too far away from distilleries/stores but it’s also secluded enough where you have privacy. Such easy check-in/out and the owners were very helpful before, during, and after our stay. The cute gray cat that welcomed us was also a plus too!🥰

What an adorable little retreat! It was clean, personalized with our names on a little chalkboard, loved the spa and the outdoor lights. I would have given 5 stars, but I felt the lack of window covering options was a bit odd and made us feel exposed. So if given the choice, I would have given 4.5 stars. Also, I’m sure many people like us, who stay here, are coming straight off the Bourbon Trail and quite a bit of drinking. It would have been nice to have water bottles in the fridge, as the location is not super close to places to buy water and food. The bed was so comfy, check in was super easy, and the welcome chocolates were delicious. We also enjoyed reading the journal entries left by other tenants. Overall, we loved it and highly recommend for a unique, relaxing experience.

Stayed here with my husband in barrel #3. It is cute, clean and has a nice outdoor space with a grill and Adirondack chairs. Plenty of space for the two of us and the bed was very comfortable. Having a fridge and microwave was great. There isn't much in the way of places nearby and we barely had any signal, but that was fine with us (we didn't opt for wifi). The hot tub was nice to soak in. The only unfortunate part was construction going on directly across our barrel, so if between 9-6 you wanted some peace and quiet there wasn't any. There was also a very friendly cat on premises that enjoyed lots of pets. It's nice for a remote getaway while doing some bourbon tasting.

Had a great time staying here. Keep in mind anyone booking one. You will likely not have cell phone svc(depending on what vacation you want to have this could be good). We had a great time in the hot tub and the bed was great. It was a bit annoying they were doing construction 8-5 our whole week stay, right behind our barrel but besides that everything was perfect and we were left alone pretty much the whole time here.

Had a wonderful time in our barrel. Beautiful scenery and such a peaceful and serene visit! The hot tub and nature made it an amazing stay! We just left and booked again for my birthday in July! Definitely book your stay if love peace, serenity and nature! Bring all your snacks, booze and extra towels. The rest will happen organically! Love from The Knezevic’s in Barrel #3!

Stayed for husbands birthday weekend. Planning services were wonderful and we enjoyed being guided to unique local experiences that we never would have done. Services prior to trip were very good and while staying on property. We enjoyed the unique and tiny living stay of the our barrel. We were wonderfully surprised to have window outside our bedroom with beautiful sunsets. The property is very quiet with fire pits and outdoor hammocks. Centrally located to many different distilleries within driving distances

Stayed here the last night of my trip and it was a great way to end it! The grounds are beautiful, it is very peaceful and quiet. The barrels are modern, updated, spacious and comfortable. I really enjoyed the fire pit as it was a great way to meet other people staying at the retreat. I would definitely stay here again!

My husband & I just got home from our trip! We had the most amazing time staying with y’all & will definitely be back again! We loved the seclusion that we had & the beautiful views! We loved having a hot tub & grill & those sunsets were beautiful! We enjoyed every aspect from our stay! Thank you so much for helping us celebrate 15 yrs of marriage at your beautiful property!
