Google
Went here in August and the food was absolutely incredible. Every dish we tried was amazing, from the french fry trio to dessert. The truffle bread appetizer was breathtaking. The steaks were cooked perfectly—extremely tender with barely any fat. The mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were delicious. To top it off, before we left, they even gave us bags of popcorn, which was a very tasty treat. Highly recommend!

Google
An amazing steakhouse with truly outstanding service. Despite being a chain, everything about the experience felt intimate and unique. From start to finish, our waiter expertly guided us through the food and wine menu, curating a memorable dining experience. Highlights included the caviar Twinkie, the must-have truffle bread, and the show-stopping lobster pot pie that’s deconstructed tableside. I would absolutely recommend this steakhouse if you’re looking for a high-quality, elevated dining experience.

Google
Very nice high-end and calming atmosphere. Food was perfectly done and service from Katie was amazing. Will for sure be coming back. Definitely do the Main Lobster Pot Pie, the Tomahawk and the Brussel sprouts as a side were the best! (comes with table side service).

Phenomenal! We will be back next Christmas. Living in Nashville, we’ve been to BS Nashville twice. But nothing beats this high level of food & service standard IMO. Very South FL. Very well done. Love the duck fat fries forever. The tuna app was okay but we were feeling adventurous, will probably try something else next time. I am SO HAPPY I got the sea bass. Here we are, 12/30 and still thinking about it. It tastes like if fish were a cloud. Trust me. I’ve also never heard my fiancée say “this might be the best NY Strip I’ve ever had” before. He’s picky with meat. The Som was great because I kind of know what I want from wine? At least I try? The Rioja was so good!! Our server was very sweet. Oh! The beignets! Yes. Amazing. Ambiance. Perfection. We could’ve stayed for hours.

Google
Delightful experience from start to finish. We had an 8:15pm seating time, and were seated by 8:20pm. The interior is classy and sophisticated. Centerpiece is the beautiful bar that creates an inviting social atmosphere. Tables are nicely spaced out to minimize conversational noise from adjacent tables. The outer booths also create a setting for privacy without feeling secluded. All staff was focused on our experience, friendly, engaging, prompt, and observant. Not pushy. Eagerly willing to customize any cocktail or menu item to our requests. Valet parking. No stairs, handicap accessible floor plan and bathrooms. Street parking with meters also available. Reservations recommended. Recommended items: tuna tartar with quail egg, wagyu skirt steak, basque cheesecake, shrimp cocktail, truffle mac n' cheese. We will be returning soon :)

Google
Absolutely loved the Tuna au poivre - the French fry starter is always a killer treat as well. In single malt heaven w/ Nc’Nean - one of the few restaurants in South Florida with it behind the bar! Staff always friendly & professional. Ask George, Sommelier for recommendations. Can’t wait to bring my family back in January.

Google
The food was out of this world, and the service from Caroline was exceptional- attentive, warm, and professional. Each dish was beautifully presented, with flavors that matched the stunning visuals. The only downside was the pacing initially felt a bit rushed. However, the staff quickly picked up on cues and it was smooth sailing from there. Overall, it was a memorable experience with exquisite cuisine and beautiful ambiance.

Google
I chose to dine here because it was near my hotel and I was able to walk to it. Server ( Josh ) was very thorough with explaining the menu and was attentive and friendly. I enjoyed everything about the meal and the luxe atmosphere as well. Filet, Brussels and fries. 10/10 I would most definitely return when visiting Delray

Janell V.

Yelp
This is my new favorite restaurant! We were excited to try this new restaurant that was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. Our server Josh made the entire experience exceptional. He was very personable, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was cooked perfectly and the flavor was mouth watering. This will definitely be our new dinner spot.

Yelp
recently enjoyed another wonderful dinner at Bourbon in Delray Beach and want to recognize the outstanding staff. Manager Magie was absolutely delightful--her customer service was exceptional and made the evening feel special. Our servers, Oscar and Ken, were excellent: attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The food was superb as always, and what I truly appreciate is that if something isn't perfect, the team goes above and beyond to make it right. That level of care and dedication is rare and sets Bourbon apart. I'll definitely be dining here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top‑quality experience in Delray Beach.

Yelp
Service was amazing. Super attentive staff. Made a reservation online but showed up about 20 minutes early. Once inside the bar was jumping for pre diner drinks. I placed order and was then quickly moved to table. About three servers checked in on us throughout the visit. Bacon wrapped scallops were like butter. Tender, juicy, and perfect amount of salty goodness. Slowly learning about Wagyu. Everytime I have it I swear it's the best melt in your mouth like butter steak. Very rich flavor for a very big splurg! Eat slowly to enjoy every oz. Fried brussels sprouts and the honey mustard - love it 100 times over. Could have licked the plate. Brussels fried to the darkest carmelized nutty rose with no bitterness. You will be full but you gotta have dessert. The bruleed cheesecake was perfect without the strawberries. If you want the extra sweet have it all.

Yelp
This is hands down my favorite steak in the area. Bourbon steak not only meets but exceeds all expectations. Yes, they are expensive but if you know what you are getting you understand the price point. If you are not a fat forward steak lover, go elsewhere. Starting with the wait staff, they could not be nicer, the team spends time going through any dish you would like to know more about and is very detailed. The bartenders make some of the best espresso martinis I have ever had (shout out to Matt behind the bar). For starters more places should be playing with the old "bread service" like Bourbon steak with the best beginner one could imagine... the "French fry flight" with 3 different seasonings and drips to try. With that and my future thoughts if start we opted for the Caviar Twinkie to split and O what a treat with a great mix of salty and sweet it was a great started to the night. For dinner Black Truffle Tagliatelle, creamy salty with the perfect al dente bite to it which serviced as the perfect side to the main attraction A5 Mitsubhi Ribeye Marbled to perfection and melted in the mouth and just for some additional decadence king crab and grilled shrimp personal my favorite version of a surf and turf. Last the desert, again espresso martinis but the Bruleed Basque Cheesecake is out of this world with a amazing tart berry sauce they pour over top. They also offer a smoked S'mores dish with a small table side revel coming in at a close second for me. Been back, will keep going back.

Yelp
If... * You're looking for a top tier experience * You want outstanding food quality * You're after an out-of-the-box approach to some of the menu items Then... Bourbon Steak is a great choice! Definitely not cheap, but worth it. Think Abe and Louie's on steroids. The seafood tower is the most creative I've ever seen. Shrimp cocktail takes on a new meaning. The king crab was stellar. The lobster was shelled and replaced for presentation. The crab and corn chowder was one of the best I've had. The lobster pot pie. The steak. The spinach. The desserts. Just go already.

Yelp
From the moment I drove in I was escorted to the restaurant by Eddie - 5 stars! The old fashions were perfectly made and we would have stayed with the bartender Matthew but preferred to look across from one another. The bar is luxurious. We started with the duck fat fries, truffle, garlic, and herb, and bourbon with different sauces. The truffle fries were my fav. The apple salad was refreshing and I highly recommend it if you like savory. We had the caviar "twinkie" the caviar was amazing but I think there was too much corn. They could make a smaller corn size so the corn doesn't overpower the caviar. The lighting is perfect and the seats are comfortable. Watch out Cafe du Monde the beignets are much better here!

Yelp
Bourbon steak is an overpriced hotel lobby restaurant. I would have loved to have something better to say about it, but honestly some of the cool art on the walls was the best part of the meal. The server was nice enough and skillfully delivered the speech on the specials, but again the prices were really high, and I don't mind spending on a nice meal, but I just wasn't getting the vibes this was the place to make that choice. I ended up going with the ceviche which the server said was one of his favorites and the chefs special. It was artistically plated...but not tasty (except for the corn foam around the bottom). You know how sometimes you smell something and know how it would taste just by smell. And you know that PineSol cleaner smell...well that's what the ceviche tasted like. I'm not saying there was cleaner in it at all that's just the closest thing I can use to describe the taste.

Yelp
Expensive but OMG this is a real good one! Didn't realize the valet parking the valet parking for the hotel which was around the block. It is close to, but not on the ocean. Let's just say the food was nothing short of exceptional! Their 16 ounce Delmonico steak was to die for, a generous portion and my wife and I brought home leftovers. The strip was there warm truffle bread, a large amount with truffle butter and of course we brought some of that home. Their trio of exotic fries had three different sauces and all where you guessed it exceptional my wife and I chose the Apple salad with the three types of lettuce, cheddar, and maple pecan . We also had a tuna to upgrade with pinenuts. To end it all with dessert we had a Brulé basket cheesecake with strawberries. Generous portions and we had a nice bag of leftovers to bring home. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention that our waiter, David was over the top. Informative and personable, making the service just again exceptional. Pablo the general manager welcomed us. All in all a great evening!

Yelp
I thought for the money and taste we would have done alot better going to Ruth Chris Steak House. The Prime Ribeyes we had at an expensive price simply were not that tasty.

Yelp
My first observation when we walked into Bourbon Steak was that we had entered a time warp, and entered a 1960's style supper club. It is very comfortable and inviting. Our server, Perfect, was ... perfect. He explained everything, including his favorites. He was friendly and helpful, and provided great service. The food was outstanding: The Caesar salad was perfectly dressed and a nice crumble replaced the "standard" crouton. My Summer Corn Soup so good that I finished it before remembering to take a picture (thankfully the gentleman sitting at the next table let me take one of his ). The table side preparation of the Tuna tartare was impressive. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and tender - the seasoning was a hair too salty for our tastes, and the mashed potatoes and crispy Brussel sprouts outstanding. Our drinks were great - one of the better Old Fashioned I've been served and the desserts good too. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

Yelp
The moment we arrived at Bourbon Steak, the evening felt special. We were warmly greeted by two lovely hostesses and promptly escorted to our table, setting the tone for an exceptional night. Then greeted by two servers we started with the chef's favorite duck fries (sounds unusual), but they were an explosion of flavors, perfectly paired with a trio of dipping sauces that complimented each bite. For appetizers, we chose the Caesar salad and the summer corn soup, both absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. By this point, we couldn't wait for the main course and it did not disappoint. I ordered the sea bass, which can be a hit or miss for me, but this one was a definite hit. Every bite flavorful, with a delicate gravy and crunch that brought it all together. Even though we were full, dessert was a must. We shared the strawberry cheesecake and the beignets, neither too sweet, both the perfect ending to our meal. Just when we thought the evening couldn't get better, our two wonderful servers surprised us with a little to go bag of caramelized popcorn. From the romantic ambiance to the impeccable service and incredible food, Bourbon Steak delivers a dining experience worth remembering. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Great ambiance and perfect cocktails made table side. The wagyu steak was delicious and cooked perfect The best out of everything was the side cream spinach. Great food and prices were comparable.

Yelp
Went here on a date, the place was upscale and dark.. our reservation was for 8pm, we were seated immediately .. the place was packed...we ordered a bottle of Malbec wine that the sommelier brought.. We started off with bacon wrapped scallops that we shared.. they only give you 2.. It was good..Then instead of bread, they give you a French fries trio..one was smoked paprika which was very spicy, the other was truffle and the third was regular fries sauces were good.. for our entree we both had the Chilean sea bass with asparagus.. it's like a where's Waldo on the asparagus .. it was very good, but portions were small for the prices..overall, the place was dark and very loud and sooo noisy, not a good place for conversation.. Food was good.. I probably won't be back too noisy and too dark...

Yelp
Really exceptional steak house. Not the usual old people vibe. Not that I have anything against older people. I am one myself lol. Nice looking room, not the typical dark wood look. Good looking younger crowd, just a cooler than usual situation for this type of food. The menu is kind of typical steakhouse (several different cuts of steak, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, shrimp cocktail, etc) but then they elevate it, and add some extra special things. Several wagyu offerings. Everything was absolutely delicious. Really fabulous. Filet mignon was cooked perfect. Sauces offered, but definitely not needed or really even wanted. The steak alone was delicious. Creamed spinach was a don't miss. Again not the usual heavy nutmeg taste, just really really delicious. Steak tartar also really exceptional, butternut squash soup so good. The desserts were also fantastic. The beignets delicious with the three sauces... amazing. Apple tarte was delicious.. just like most steakhouses. This was an expensive mail but honestly really worth it. I will be back..

Yelp
First of all server Katie is always fabulous. My son loves this place and keeps asking to go back for the french fry flight and popcorn at the end. This time we got the 8oz center cut filet medium rare which was cooked perfectly. I like the creamed spinach side, and the brewed iced tea with simple syrup. We didn't get dessert this time but love the beignets with butterscotch pudding. You can get 3 of their complimentary house sauces that come with a steak and those were fun to try! I love how the steak here is served with a crispy baked tomato, a nice touch. Whole place is definitely passing the vibe check, if I lived a little closer I'd spend some time at the bar in the evening on weekends.

Yelp
The was my first time at Bourbon Steak. My husband and I came for a romantic night out. The entrance to the restaurant is beautiful. Brooke, the hostess, greeted us warmly and started off our experience on a great note. Our server, Big Kev, arrived to our table quickly. We ordered from the Summer "Secret" Menu. This menu includes an Amuse Bouche, Appetizer, Entree, a side, and a dessert. I ordered a glass of the Yantra Super Tuscan. I loved that it came out chilled. It went perfectly with the meal. The Amuse Bouche was the Trio of Duck Fat Fries. The fries included smoked paprika with a spicy barbecue sauce, duck fat fries with house made ketchup, and truffle fries with a garlic aioli. They were delicious and very filling. For our appetizers, we ordered Petit Romaine Cesar salad and the Bacon-Wrapped Scallops. The presentation of the Cesar salad was really cool. Check out the included photo. My husband said the scallops were cooked to perfection with a nice consistency with a tasty sauce. For our entrees, we ordered the 8 oz. center-cut medium well filet mignon and the 16 oz. Delmonico Ribeye. The filet was cooked perfectly and was super tender. I ordered the whipped potatoes and we shared fried Brussels sprouts. My husband said the ribeye was excellent. He also ordered the echire butter creamed spinach. We were so full by that point, that we had plenty left over for another meal. We, of course, saved room for dessert. We ordered the Bruleed Basque cheesecake and Bourbon Steak Beignets with butterscotch pudding. I loved the crunch on the cheesecake. We managed to finish it all off. Big Kev took great care of us throughout the meal. He checked on us frequently, took care of all our needs, and helped make our visit a memorable experience. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
What can I say. Everything was amazing. They brought out a trio of fries with different sauces that were delicious. I really liked thd truffle fries with truffle sauce. I opted to upgrade to the Delmonico. I asked med rare and it came out the temperature I requested. Whipped potatoes and Brussels sprouts for sides. Enough to share which we did. We got both desserts. And the smores Martini. The restaurant was very nice. Looks like a cool, hip place to go and sit at thd bar. All the wait staff was amazing. Our waitress Tracy was amazing and attentive. She gave suggestions and good descriptions of menu items. It was a really great night.

Yelp
A new Restaurant at the Seagate Hotel. Definitely a date night out. You will not be rushed. The setting is pleasant & relaxing. No kids!! I had the Apple salad that was delicious & refreshing, I really enjoyed it !! Chilean Bass was cooked perfectly but was salty. Cream of spinach was enough for 2 people. I would have liked sauté spinach in olive oil & garlic instead. Service was great!! Check the menu for prices before you go. Parking is on the street.

Yelp
The food was amazing. The timing of the food coming out wasn't. The complimentary fries came out almost the same time as the salad. Then there was long wait times after that between the next plates. I'd given 5 stars if it weren't for that. Parking is very easy with complimentary valet. The decor inside was very nice. Left with a very happy belly.

Yelp
Amazing experience tonight at bourbon steak. The restaurant isn't huge, and it feels welcoming and relaxed. Our server was great with helping us make all our selections. The food was out of this world. Not a single bad dish! We had the Cesar salad and the apple salad. The filet and the sea bass, with creamed spinach and the best mashed potatoes I've ever eaten in my life.finished the meal with cheesecake and beignets. And I can't forget the fries with the dipping sauces. Will absolutely come back - everything was beyond perfect!

Yelp
This was my second time dining at The Seagate Hotel, but my first under the new stewardship of Michael Mina at Bourbon Steak. From the start we were greeted by a professional valet, received a warm personable hostess greeting, waited on by superior waitstaff service and then served high-quality food with interesting plate presentations this added up to a really nice enjoyable evening. Starting with the Amuse Bouche it was "Mouth Amusing" as we were served 3 decent sized portions of Duck Fat Fried French Fries (Paprika, Herb & Truffle) accompanied with 3 different sauces (BBQ, Catsup & Truffle) All restaurants could learn from this simple but delicious presentation. Our Appetizers were awesome. Crab & Corn soup was decadent and rich, while the Apple Salad was perfect for summer. As this was a Summer Special ($75), only 3 entrees were available. (Steak, Fish, Chicken). We had the Filet which was undercooked when served and had to be re-fired to medium. When I did get to try, it tasted great. The Sea Bass was crispy on the top, delicious throughout and served with a light sauce surrounding it. The accompanying sides of Brussel Sprouts we found crispy and tasty but too sweet. However, the Creamed Spinach was the finest example of any Steakhouse side that I have ever tasted. Next Level - Marvelous! The menu offered 2 desserts: Cheesecake (which we took home) and the Beignets which we devoured on-site. Those came with an Amazing Macallan Single Malt Scotch Butterscotch pudding and it was the best version of a Butterscotch Pudding I have ever had... Incredible. I'd return for just a jar of that ! So, by now you can see that this was a 9.0+ experience and very worthy of MM's Michelin Star rating. However, there were a few things that could use a further review : 1. The Cocktail & Wine Pricing is Buyer Beware. The Balvenie 12 yr. at over $30 is crazy high.. Pappy 12yr... at $120 Hilarious. The Belle & Glos P. Noir BTG at $28 is ridiculous. 2. The Glassware for water is weak, it's glass not crystal. Surprising. 3. The Wine Pour sure looks like light - possibly 4oz. (See attached pix) 4. The dining room chairs are not that comfortable...they have no arms ! ... Underwhelmed 5. The refurbished surroundings don't feel premium and kind of have that Las Vegas coffee shop feel... sorry :( 6. I saw multiple diners wearing SHORTS inside, some straight from the beach... Not Cool here... even if you hide them in the corner. Nonetheless, if you have No budget, Enjoy Fine Dining and want a Michelin Level Experience in Delray then this is a great place to start and one which I would highly recommend encountering.

Yelp
I was really on defense whether I would give this a three star or a four star. The atmosphere itself was really elegant, but yet not too stuffy. The service was very good, they tried hard to make sure we were happy. My real issue was with the food. The food quality itself was very good, the taste left a little to be desired. To start, we had the tuna tartar, even though the tuna was absolutely fresh, there was so much mint and pinenuts in it that it completely lost its way. I had to fillet and he was quite simply just a piece of me like I could make it home. I don't even think there was any salt on it. The mashed potatoes were so runny you can drink them with the straw. And the cheesecake was literally swimming in a pool of liquid. Now I'm not saying any of it was terrible. I'm just saying it's not what I would expect from such a high-end place.

Yelp
Celebrated my friends birthday at this restaurant and we honestly had a 10/10 experience. When we sat down at our table, there was a handwritten happy birthday card for my friend which was adorable, definitely a small touch we've never experienced before at any other restaurant. I started with the Lychee drink which was very tasty, slightly strong but perfect for me. Due to a slight delay in getting our table ready at our reserved time, the restaurant made up for it by bringing us a complimentary sparkling drink, which again, another unexpected act we really appreciated. We were served their complimentary fries which were so good, my personal favorite was the paprika fries with the bbq sauce. We started with the Bread rolls, ceviche & Cesar. All 3 were 10/10. My friend commented that the Cesar needed a bit more sauce, but for me it was PERFECT. We continued with the Senku Rib Cap, I got it medium well & my friend got it Medium. Definitely order medium! The steak was so flavorful and sooo good. We got it with a side of mashed potatoes which was soooo buttery & soft as well as Brussel sprouts, which was SOO good I absolutely loved the sauce it was cooked in. We ended with the basque brûlée cheesecake. My friend and I loved the brûlée touch and the texture of the cheesecake itself was SUPERB. Extremely yummy I wouldn't change anything about this experience, everything was amazing. Worth every dime

Yelp
Great service from Perfect Attentive and knowledgeable The food was delicious The short rod was amazing as are the whipped potatoes and fried rice The donuts for dessert were amazing with the sauces.

Yelp
I loved the ambience here with the large beautiful bar in the center. Our server Katie was awesome. She was always stopping by to see how things were. We started off with great drinks. Then they bring you complimentary French fries which were perfection. Paprika fries with a bourbon sauce, herb fries with ketchup, and Truffle fries with Truffle sauce. All were amazing. Everyone enjoyed their starters. I shared the Ceasar Salad and the Golden Beet "Ravioli". The salad could have been a bit cooler but the "ravioli" stole the show. Another friend got the Hearts of Palm salad and enjoyed it. For dinner we all enjoyed our filets. My friend's sea bass was yummy too. I upgraded to the 6oz Australian wagyu filet and it was the bomb! Perfectly cooked at rare+. For sides we had the whipped potatoes and brussel sprouts. All in all a fabulous meal. We also got chocolate bars for dessert! I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Where do I begin from the moment you walk and they are so pleasant and say hello I was seated within five minutes and everybody was so welcoming. I had the pleasure of meeting Tracey my server and we talked the entire time with such a great connection. The restaurant is so quaint and so relaxing. I was a little apprehensive to go by myself, but they made me feel very very welcome. Tracey made some wonderful suggestions on what to order and, when I come back what to try next, the food was absolutely delicious. From the trio of fries with each individual sauce and flavoring was perfect pairing. The creaminess of the corn crab soup was elegant and silky, and had such flavor out of of this world. The chilean sea-bass melted in your mouth with such a flavor to go along with the mashed potatoes. It was more than a five star meal. I was so full, lol that I actually took the beignet donuts home with me and I cannot wait to try them. Overall, it was the most wonderful experience ever so well worth it.!

Yelp
Food service very slow, after apps it took almost one hour to get the main course. Arrived at 6:45pm we didn't get out of there until 10pm! Not great a great value for the cost .... Two scallop appetizer 33/bucks per plate.. Steaks were good but when you have a $500/dollar steak option on the menu (wagyu) it's a little over the top...
google avatar

Holly R.

Yelp
Nice for special occasions if you order the wagyu. The ambiance and service were excellent. There's nice spacing between tables. The noise level was good. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations. There was nothing special about the NY strip and that they charge extra for house steak sauce annoyed us! They charge extra for bread, but give you French fries to start (a plus). I ordered the miso butter crab legs and grilled shrimp (usually add-ons to steak) as my entree. They were well made, but served on top of a bed of salt that stuck to the shellfish, making my dinner very salty. The highlights were the agnolotti and French onion soup. My martini was great - icy cold with a touch of lemony yuzu flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate bars too.

Yelp
the quality of the food in my opinion is tops. It doesn't get any better. The steak the lobster the service is dreamy .Cocktails were delicious

Yelp
Great food, great service especially Josh and Santiago, one of the best steak houses we have ever been to great job thank you

Jorsie B.

Yelp
Of If I could give this place zero stars I would. Came in for a 50th birthday celebration and left after a 4 hour disaster. All steaks came out undercooked and raw, hours later after appetizers were freezing cold, and my husband who's birthday it was had to send his steak back twice and then we all waited another hour for him to eat his steak all by himself. Waiter was obnoxious and when I complained to the manager he did nothing. I've called the restaurant multiple times to speak to someone and a week later have yet to hear back from someone. Over $2,000 down the drain. Do not waste your money here.

Yelp
5 Stars! This was my first time at Bourbon Steak and the food was absolutely amazing! I decided to be a little adventurous and go with all of Marcie's suggestions--and she did not disappoint. The bacon-wrapped scallops were fire, and the NY strip was cooked to perfection--so flavorful and juicy. The entire experience was top-notch. I loved it and can't wait to come back. Huge thanks to Marcie for making it such a memorable night!

Yelp
Was super excited to try this new spot out after the new renovations finished in the Seagate Hotel a few months ago. After walking inside the restaurant, I felt very underwhelmed almost as if we were on a cruise ship. The staff made up for it as they knew plenty of information and were very nice and well trained. I again became underwhelmed with the food- it was good but not worth the price in my opinion. I didn't care for the raw appetizers at all, steaks were just steak, pastas were good, but my favorites were the desserts. After all the hype I wish I had liked it more. However I don't think I'll be returning unless for late night drinks and dessert at the bar.

Joe D.

Yelp
Great bar and wait staff is amazing Food was excellent and the fries are the best to start the meal Great ambiance in the place I think the one in Miami is a bit more lively But delray still rocks

Yelp
Amazing all around. Great addition to Delray/Boca area. Very attentive wait staff. Ambiance - understated elegance. Beautiful! Even though it's a large restaurant, we were easily able to carry a conversation. Everything we ate was great! Loved the French fries in 3 flavors (instead of bread upfront), Cesar salad, tuna tartar, Rib Eye flap special, and beignets with 3 dips. Great old fashions too! All outstanding! Loved! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Our server marcie and her team of Santiago and Kait all did an amazing job. We got the shellfish tower and bone in ribeye and both were delicious. Shellfish was a good portion and fresh and steak was cooked perfectly. She said they are butter poached which I believe makes such a difference. Food and staff five stars !

Yelp
I already stated the not so good. I will say that the GM Anton called me personally and is going to make it right. What I did like was I had the best wedge salad ever and my boneless NY strip was cooked to perfection. Chef kiss!! Also, someone in our party had the salmon. He said it was the best salmon he ever had. I love the dark feel of the place. I believe in 2nd chances! I will give it another try!!

Yelp
We had the best time at Bourbon Steak. We made a last minute reservation for our wedding anniversary. We were greeted so welcoming and everyone took the time to wish us a happy anniversary. The waiter knew every detail about the meats being offered, which is wonderful when you are paying a premium to understand why. When I go to high end restaurants, I usually order the same things one being shrimp cocktail. The shrimp cocktail here is so unique and fantastic with shaved real horseradish on top of the shrimp. All of the food we ordered was cooked perfectly, the restaurant renovation is so pretty. We really had the best time. We will absolutely be back!

Yelp
We were very excited to try this restaurant and came on Father's day but we're a bit disappointed with the experience. The cocktails and the appetizers were great, so I could see this place being a good happy hour / bar spot...but from what it seems like, there is no happy hour offered at this establishment. We ordered Wagyu steaks...and it was the most bland and unimpressive wagyu we've ever had so definitely not worth the price tag. Our service was a bit slow and our server failed to check in on us to the point we were looking for her and couldn't find her. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful though and it was nice and quiet for our 5pm reservation if noise is something you take into consideration when dining out.

Yelp
Overall, great dining experience! The food was excellent; but the service was OUTSTANDING! Our waiter was "Perfect"...literally that is his real name...and, his service was PERFECT! The runner, Rafael, who's only been working there for 4 days was very courteous and professional. I had the filet mignon and was literally one of the best I've had in a long time - cooked to perfection...there I go again, with the word "perfect"...In summary, the night (which happened to be our 44 year wedding anniversary was indeed perfect!).

Yelp
I'm a local and I will never step foot in Bourbon Steak Delray again. This place is an embarrassment. The napkins were literally damp and gross. I asked for a black napkin -- never got it. The service was glacially slow, like the staff couldn't care less that we were even there. The food? Absolute disaster. My New York strip was tough and lukewarm. The Delmonico came out overdone and cold -- yes, cold -- and had to be sent back. That meant one of us sat there hungry, just watching everyone else eat. At a so-called "fine dining" steakhouse, that's beyond pathetic. To be fair, the creamed spinach, skirt steak, and summer corn soup were good -- but when the signature steaks are this bad and the service is this careless, a couple of decent sides don't save the night. For the insane prices they charge, you'd expect flawless food and attentive service. Instead, it's all smoke and mirrors -- a big-name restaurant coasting on hype while serving subpar meals and treating guests like an afterthought. Save your money and your night. There are plenty of places in Delray that actually deliver on quality. Bourbon Steak is not one of them -- it's a ripoff, plain and simple.

Yelp
Meh. Mediocre steakhouse in a city that has too many steakhouses. Atmosphere is nice. Service was fine. French fries were very good. Had the filet. It was cooked the way I asked but had little to no flavor. Honestly, I don't see this place lasting more than a year.

Yelp
Michael Mina has opened what is now our favorite restaurant in Orlando! We went on Friday during the soft opening, and it was so good we went again tonight (two nights later). This time, we brought three of our adult children to see if they thought it was as good as we did, and all three agreed with us. We had all been to Michael Mina's Stripsteak in Oahu, and as it is our favorite restaurant in Oahu, we were excited to see what Michael Mina would bring to Orlando. We loved the 'Flight of Fries, ' which includes three types of fries and three different dipping sauces. Our favorite was the truffle fries with the aioli sauce. The bread, shrimp cocktail, and wedge salad were excellent. We loved the bread service so much that we ordered another round to share. The star of the entrees was the Miso Broiled Seabass. Not that we didn't absolutely LOVE the filet because we did. The Waygu Rib Cap was excellent as well. Even though we were thoroughly stuffed, we just HAD to try dessert, and we are glad we did. We shared the Basque cheesecake. It was the perfect finish to an amazing meal. The service and the food were impeccable both times. We loved Shula's, but Bourbon Steak is in a completely different league.

Yelp
The Wagyu Manhattan filet that was the special last night that marcie told us about was phenomenal as well as the service . Highly recommend

Yelp
Beautiful addition to our village by the sea. The tomahawk preparation bourbon salted and flamed table side was an experience. The trio seasoned fries with house made sauces were a lovely teaser for the meal to come. The tuna was perfection for the non meat eaters. Beignets with a bourbon sauce was amazing. Just a memorable meal all around. Beautiful ambience.

Yelp
Had been to Bourbon Steak in Aventura and it was awesome. Was hoping for the same experience in Delray. Upon entry felt like a low end cruise ship dining room. Awkward seating arrangements. Even one of the hosts said it feels like a diner. After waiting to be seated and slow service decided not order as there are such better high end steakhouses in the area. Hope this place improves but disappointed and no current plan to try again.

Yelp
Servers nice, but did not feel they knew their job descriptions . We weren't sure with whom we should communicate. 2 of us had dinner. Not good, in our opinion. My dinner really consisted of the chef's give-aways which was french fries with different dipping sauces plus a Caesar salad. Good! I ordered The steak tartare and when it arrived it needed explanation, I tried but didn't want to finish. Biggest disappointment as I love to taste steak tartare in all travel destinations. Honestly, The apple salad that I started with was delicious!!! Second dinner had short ribs(bone marrow on the side) very dry. Wanted to love but didn't. We tried as locals to love, but not for us.

Yelp
My two friends and I came to Bourbon Steak for my birthday, and due to a mixup we did not get a reservation. However we had a wonderful experience sitting at the bar and Ashley's service was impeccable. She started us off with truffle butter bread and French fries, and the Rum Through the Jungle was deliciously potent. My skirt steak with chimichurri was cooked perfectly (Pittsburgh med rare) and the pork belly fried rice was a surprisingly spicy yet savory accompaniment. My friends enjoyed their steaks and drinks as well. Despite being a busy Saturday night Ashley did an excellent job by checking in on us regularly, keeping water filled and making recommendations. This was my first time at Bourbon Steak and between the service, food, and ambiance I will definitely be back.

Yelp
+very comfortable seating +cheesecake was pretty good -Tomahawk was super salty -potatoes that accompanied tomahawk were raw -never received our mushroom side dish and didn't realize until after we left -tuna tartare was spicy. -short rib was dry Tuna tartare is one of my favorite foods, I did not enjoy this spicy version. They came to table to present tomahawk, it was covered in a salt coating which they peel off before taking it back to finish preparing. Unfortunately the only flavor the meat had was salt. So disappointing. And when you pay $250 for a steak, you cannot serve raw potatoes! We sent them back and they brought out a baked potato instead of replacing it with the same style potatoes that came with the meal. This was also one of our least favorite short ribs, very dry. I will not be dining here again.
