Bourbon Street Grill

My son got a combo with chicken. He was shocked after counting only 5 small chunks for meat, which is half of they served previously. As a mom, I was not pleased my child was still hungry after spending all his lunch money. After calling Bourbon Street Grill at Markham mall... A few pieces of chicken short doesn't cost much to make but it is a big deal when your hungry. I was offered a top up of more chicken the next time my son orders ... which just misses the point. They didn't seem to understand the need to maintain consistency so customers don't feel shortchanged... I'm giving a 1 star review for the portion of the food received. Probably should have done another 1 star review for poor response to a customer complaint.

Stingy. I've been a regular customer for a while, and I'm sad to say the portions are getting smaller and smaller. They'll put out huge trays fresh, and give you a miniscule amount of a mountain of meat. Here's this week versus last week. The staff are always rushing you to decide before they're done with the previous dish. This place sucks now. Update: they got better briefly, and then got stingy again.

Even by food court standards the food is pretty bland except the Jambalaya rice. Portion size was okay for me but other reviews say it's decreased a lot. I do think the portion is small for it's price.

Warning: this is the worst Bourbon chicken location I have ever been. Rude customer service from the cashier and low quality food. The big size lady with a Cantonese accent at the cashier is very rude always and I've never seen a sampling with literally one third of one piece of meat. Food is small portion and dry. Avoid by all means.

It's ok. They don't scoop bigger rice portion for me, and it's a bit dry. Not bad over all

Not sure why this place has bad rating But my experience was great today ; good amount of food for price (12.99) and it taste delicious actually ! Quick service ! Would try again :)

Terrible customer service. Never coming here again. I used to actually frequent this place, and the food is actually decent, but the customer service is horrible. I ordered a combo with a fountain coke beverage, and after returning to my seat, I realized the coke was half coke half water. As I approached the counter, I saw one of the staff taping a piece of white paper over the coke (seen in the photo). When the next person asked for a draft coke they were told that they're sold out. I tried to ask for their attention but was told to wait in line again (fine). When I got to the front, I handed them the coke to show it was clearly watered down, and asked for a proper coke. They said they couldn't as they didn't have any more draft coke. I went through several options, and was basically told: 1) They wouldn't issue me a refund for the draft coke 2) They wouldn't hand me a bottle of coke without charging me for it (even though by volume, bottled coke is LESS than the draft coke cup) 3) They would offer me another draft pop (disgusting, any drink besides coke you might as well lick vomit off the ground). Ended up having to pay for a bottle of coke which is ridiculous, hence will never come here again.

They're pretty stingy here and the bourbon chicken had a lot of fat and cartilage. I didnt end up finishing it cause of that reason and within 15min I was so nauseous im pretty sure I was gonna throw up, makes me wonder if i finished my meal if i actually would've. Usually have a good experience with bourbon street but this location just is not it. Avoid ⚠️
