I passed this stunning building on a tour in 2024 and stayed at the hotel by the river. So this year, 2025, I was determined to return and explore it. A long way, but certainly worth it and I returned home with a knight in shining armour! We had a snack of Croque Monseur and hot chocolate, did a quick walk around and got held up in the cellar whilst the rain passed over which provided an unusual opportunity to get some fun photos. Minimal but adequate food and drink offerings with very limited indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating. It really must be divine to enjoy a drink in this setting in good weather. You can eat and drink without Gong into the castle. Once you're going around there is little shelter if the weather is wet and it can be breezy due to its exposed location so be prepared. The views all round are exemplary. Sensible sturdy non slip footwear highly recommended due to the cobbles, slopes and warn rock. There are clean toilets and good parking. I'd return and recommend this property. Thank you for a very enjoyable visit.

Ther was a line for tickets. Audio tour was well put together, Although earphones/headphones are recommended with all the visitors around you. Both for your listening pleasure and for not disturbing the other visitors. The prices are fair because of the massive tour through the castle. The toilets were relatively clean for such a large mass of visitors. My kids loved it.

Nice (but small) castle in the middle of Luxembourg. The price is ok if you like this kind of place (7€ for adults, there are discounts for kids and older people). A visit to the castle took me around 1h. An audio guide is available but I didn't take it so I cannot evaluate its quality. Dogs are allowed.

We spent a beautiful and surprising day in this castle. Always with a question mark: how was it in the past, what did people do there, what did they do? I would be very happy if the state of Luxembourg would take a decision to rebuild it as it was done before... Impressive, I liked it a lot!

Castle ruin with a ticket price that cost EU7 per adult. Interesting to visit but not accessible for people with low mobility. There is a small shop and bar on it for you to buy souvenir or have a quick drink.

Castle from outside looks beautiful, inside the walls its not that preserved like other castles (for example Vianden). There is however a viewpoint on top of the castle tower, with amazing views on surrounding areas. Other that and castle remains, one building is in good shape and it serves as a small museum.

We found this castle on the way back home. It was a nice addition. We learned there is the valley of 7 castles in Luxembourg, which sounds like a nice idea for a next trip. The castle had something majestic when we saw it appear from the road down below. It's ruin, but you can feel the history. Easy to get tickets despite it being crowded, there was no wait.

Cool stop to see a castle / ruin with the kids. We explored it at 5pm and were done at 5:45 right before they closed. the view of the area is great. It was not expensive to walk in but also not much more interaction then just the castle itself
