Excellent view in Old Town. Very close to primary sights. Be aware that the bell tower rings multiple times an hour which is very loud if your window is open. My room was clean and bright. It was at the end of the season so very few guests. A nice variety for breakfast.|The photos were taken from my end of hallway room on the top floor.

Loved this hostel. Friendly staff at every level - reception, cleaning staff, kitchen staff. A great layout and organization of shared space - each bed securely private, with blinds and an efficient card locking system, bathroom one side, toilet the other, a lot of outdoor and indoor kitchen space for your own eating and a terrific breakfast available for a very good price. Loved the nautical paint scheme (the blue and white) . Very clean and what a location. Puno hvala! Would go there again any time.

There is no aircon. They advertise that they do but appears they only allow you to turn it on at certain times of the year. Location is amazing but we probably wouldn't stay again as the room got quite hot and uncomfortable. Opening the windows didn't help all that much. It would be a 5 star place otherwise so worth a stay if you're okay sleeping in a hot room. It should be okay during winter or if they actually allow guests to use the aircon. The false advertising is pretty disappointing though. Otherwise the staff are friendly. They also offer breakfast included but we didn't try it.

Our stay at the hostel in Zadar was okay, the service is good. You have parking space nearby for 15 EUR a day, the location is great in the middle of the center... but you have to take into account some inconveniences like a night club right next door, the room is not sound proof (a lot of noise at night), our room was on the top floor so we had a nice view over the Forum Romanum, BUT the sides were like slides (not straight) because the bed was higher. The room was very small as well. We thought the room was too expensive for what it was. But overall, good experience.

The hostel is in the city centre, but when the windows are closed you can’t hear the busy shopping street outside (there’s AC). The bathroom was small but in the 4 person dorm it was cleaned everyday. Staff was very accommodating, booking the small buffet breakfast spontaneously (13€ though) and getting tips on activities or maps was no problem :)

I've stayed in at least 50 different hostels in my 30 years of traveling and this one is among the top three! Very clean, full privacy curtain, towel included, two plug outlets, in the middle of action, the nice front desk lady will tell you where to park your car, many amenities within hostel, shower and wc inside room, you can't see anyone while in your bed and nobody can see you. Easy five stars.

Our stay at the Boutique Hostel Forum was great. We arrived a little early and they had a common room where you can hang out/leave bags before waiting for the check in time at 2pm. We stayed at a standard room and it was just what we needed for a 2 night stay. The view was beautiful -- old Roman forums + a scenic view of the sea. Breakfast was also pretty good; however, they do not change it. But not a problem if you are only staying for a short time. The location was also excellent -- right smack in the Old Town so it was easy for us to go to the touristic sites and walk to and from restaurants around the old town. |My only gripe is that the room smelled bad upon entering, and I highly suspect it is because of the aircon. I urge the management to CLEAN the central air-condition since it is emitting a very bad and musky smell in the rooms which is possibly a health hazard to the guests.

The rooms in the hostel are great, the showers and toilet are cleaned regularly, and the beds are comfy and private. The location of the hostel is in the centre of the old town, great for visiting and sight seeing…. Not so great for noise. Maybe this is only in summer but there is a night club right next to the hostel and every night until 5am the music is loud and you can hear it through ear buds, and in the morning the bells from the cathedral in front of the hostel. I would recommend the hostel to get more sound insulated windows, as this is a great place to stay but this dropped the rating for me.
