Amazing stay here. Veronica and Omar were incredibly helpful, did everything to make our stay very enjoyable, including storing our bags while we went to Cuyabeno for a few nights. Breakfast and location are excellent. Beautiful heritage building which was comfortable and had everything you needed. Highly recommend.

A short walk from many varied restaurants, shopping, a grocery to stock your mini fridge, walking distance to local parks. Veronica provided great service, for example, an earlier breakfast when I had to leave on early-morning hikes. As an exerienced hiker, I was really happy with the mountaineer with whom Hotel Antinea connected me. Rene does smalll group hikes and is really skilled, patient and knowledgeable. Rooms are very comfortable, especially with the terrace that was surrounted by greenery. There are quite a variety of rooms, so ask for one away from the street if you are a light sleeper.

Hotel Antinea is “vaux le voyage” (worth the trip). This gorgeous hotel is on a stunning little street lined with Sycamore trees. It is a complex of traditional buildings very well designed and integrated. The rooms and garden terraces and courtyards are lovely and comfortable. The breakfast is unique in all Ecuador as it includes excellent croissant beurre (fait maison). The dining spaces are so attractive and filled with interesting art. The service is very, very attentive.

My husband & I stayed there for 2 weeks, Feb 28-March 12. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The staff take such good care of you, especially Veronica. She is the backbone of the hotel, speaks English & one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Without her our stay wouldn’t have been the same! I don’t know what they pay her but it’s probably not enough Lol. We stayed in the deluxe suite that had a fireplace & a private garden on the ground floor. I miss it!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this hotel! Now only is the place beautiful and in a wonderful neighborhood but the hostess and staff are some of the most friendly and accommodating I have ever had! They made us feel at home and provided service well above what was expected. They allowed us a late check out when we had an evening flight and watched our bags when we traveled to the Amazon for 4 days. They contacted us prior to our trip to arrange pickup from the airport and it seemed that at every turn they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable! I had a massage while there and that too was a spectacular experience! I could not recommend this hotel enough to any person traveling to Quito. 10/10

We loved the uniqueness and location of this hotel. Right in the heart of La Mariscal, it’s very central to everything, close to plenty of bars and restaurants and there’s a Supermaxi supermarket just a few blocks away. We stayed for 6 nights and our spacious room (#4) had a small kitchen, stocked with all the necessary utensils etc, and a secluded patio space overlooking the front of the property and the lovely tree-lined street. The staff were very friendly and helpful (very responsive via WhatsApp) and spoke great English. We’re vegan and they were able to accommodate us at breakfast, with fruit, bread & toast. There’s also a nice vegan restaurant called El Maple very close by.

Beautiful property with unique rooms and lovely outdoor spaces, including balconies and outdoor patios. Well located, walking distance to lots of nice cafes and restaurants. The amazing staff is what set this place apart for us - everyone we spoke with was very friendly, helpful and communicative. We needed to park a car and store our luggage for a few days while we were in the Amazon, and they helped make our time traveling in Ecuador so much easier!

|Wonderful stay with Veronica. Omar and Consuelo were awesome also! Kindest people and so welcoming. We loved our terraced one bedroom with kitchenette. i felt very safe in the neighborhood walking around. however, I don’t go the the bars at night as a precaution. it’s a big city after all!||i loved the homey ambience of Hotel Antinea so much, the staff, the location and the nearby restaurants so much that we have already booked our next stay there.
