Boutique Hotel Astoria

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and everything was well presented. But what truly stood out was the amazing service by the lovely young lady working there. She was kind, professional, and always smiling. Her attention to detail and warm attitude made the whole visit even better. Thank you for the great service – I’ll definitely be coming back!

Pleasant stay overall. Check was not great, just the lottery of which staff is on duty – many younger front desk staff were patient and very helpful.|The breakfast rules are bit confusing (choice of two drinks and one “sweet breakfast” and one other dish on the morning menu). So, you pick, say an omelet and you get a rather nicely made omelet with a breadbasket etc. If you do also order the sweet breakfast, you also get a large continental breakfast with jams and Balkan Nutella. It’s far too much food to order both, but not clear until the plates come out.|Our room was great, facing the city wall with a view of the water. The sliding glass door to the toilet did not stay shut, which nobody would welcome. Also, I am not an enormous person, but not small and the toilet itself was small and in a cramped setting, while the rest of the glass bathroom was generous in size. |Great location and good café bar with excellent outdoor seating. Would stay again and found pricing reasonable.

The hotel is located in the old city, and the location is really great. The bedroom was big and the interior is really interesting but it seems a bit dated. Overall, it was a nice room. The staff at the reception are really nice, helpful, and friendly. One negative thing about this hotel is the staff at the restaurant. They are really unfriendly, impolite, and they seem overwhelmed with the guests. Because of this, I have to take 1 star from the review. However, the food was fantastic and the price is also okay.

We came here for dessert and were very disappointed. We tried to order the cookie crunch but they were out so we got the caramel crunch instead and it had way too much caramel. I’ve never seen so much caramel sauce in my life. The ice cream was swimming in caramel. It was ridiculous. Did not taste good. Additionally, we were two people and we didn’t receive our desserts at the same time. And our waiter was extremely rude. And it took forever to get our bill. Will not come back.

I have been coming to the Astoria for the past 5 years. It is in a beautiful location of the old town of Kotor. I have never had a bad meal here before, however today there was a little bit of a language barrier that meant I had to have my steak changed. This was not the waiters’ fault at all. It was busy, but just wasn’t cooked as requested. The food was changed quickly and efficiently and once again; a lovely meal. Will still be back for my sixth year! Thank you team Astoria! 🥰 (I am not staying at the hotel so cannot comment!)

Lovely setting, great food and great service. The Greek bruschetta is delicious as were the mains and the strawberry cream dessert was light and delicate. Would definitely come back. :)

We tried the food at the Astoria restaurant,in Old Town ,and what we’ve tried was amazing! (Except prawns) Specially we’ve loved Vulcano dessert! Definitely recommend!

WORST PLACE EVER. We went to the restaurant; we didn’t stay at the hotel. The service was terrible. The waiters were extremely rude and racist. They completely ignored us when we tried to order, and they brought the bill even though we hadn’t asked for it. When we pointed this out, they mocked us. It was the worst experience of my life. The worst place in Kotor. I will make sure to warn everyone I know not to come here.
