Hotel room OK. Nice outdoor pool and sun bathing area. Currently NO restaurant on site, as mentioned on website, which was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel. Bar "open until 11:30pm" noted in room/hotel facilities information; it was never attended. We had to drive every night for dinner, couldn't drink alcohol and drive so wanted the bar to be open! 4* gastronomic hotel it is NOT. A number of issues with our room, all minor. Only one curtain on window, no Tissues (4*?), basin waste wouldn't close, no shaving mirror but support frame in place, pillow case frayed on edge, coffee and milk not replenished daily. Breakfast quite good, plenty of products but on last day, no bacon available as on previous mornings. All in all, it didn't meet our expectations, sadly.

What a disappointment. We stayed there 2 years ago and it was nice although shortsge of staff was an issue. When we went back last summer, dirty and unkept bathroom. Fridge with left over food items from previous guests. When we told them they looked the other way. They also made s mistake in our bill snd told us to sort it out ourselves. NOT RECOMMENDED ANYMIRE.

My stay at this hotel was downright disappointing. Upon arrival we were not given a warm welcome and were immediately told that check-in was only possible from 3:00 pm, with no flexibility. No guidance to the room, we had to figure everything out on our own. The room was far from clean: the coffee machine seemed not to have been rinsed out for weeks, cups were dirty and the curtains dirty. Despite a 9-night stay, we did not receive clean sheets once and there was never vacuuming, only superficial cleaning. The bathroom was not acceptable: a constant sewer smell, mold and dirt in the shower stall, and worn towels with stains. Upon arrival there were not even any towels, we only received towels from the pool and a bath mat after several days after insisting. The pool water was freezing cold and the lounge chairs were dirty and unkempt, with dirty cushions left for days. The bar is misleading; after 8 p.m., no one is there, making an evening drink impossible. Breakfast was of very low quality, with unrefrigerated items that must be kept cold and pre-cooked, cold eggs and bacon. In short, this hotel does not offer what it promises. The pictures on the website are misleading and the stay was definitely not worth its money.”

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a billing issue I experienced during my recent stay at your hotel. While I was pleased with the amenities and the friendliness of your staff, I am deeply dissatisfied with how the situation regarding my invoice was handled. Upon reviewing my final bill, I noticed that I was charged for food and drinks that I did not consume. It seems that these charges were from other guests who had not settled their accounts. To my dismay, the incorrect amount was withdrawn directly from my account without my consent. When I brought this issue to your attention, I was informed that I would need to resolve the matter myself by contacting third parties whose details you provided. I find it unacceptable that your team did not take responsibility for resolving an error caused by your internal processes. As this issue remains unresolved, I have been left with no other choice but to initiate legal action to recover the incorrect charges. This has been a deeply disappointing experience, and it is unfortunate that it had to come to this. I hope you understand the gravity of this situation and urge you to take immediate action to address this issue properly. I would appreciate a prompt response and a resolution to this matter.

The worst experience we could have had, I don’t even want to give one star! |We arrived at the hotel for a weekend away and it seemed that as soon as the receptionist heard us speak in Spanish (and not Catalan), her attitude changed and we were treated very poorly. It seemed like we were discriminated and randomly given a room which is annexed to the hotel in some sort of shed, which very clearly seemed like the cleaning staff’s room. |As soon as we walked in there were two beds pushed together sunk in the middle, bugs all around the room and on the curtains, a mildew smell and a private door that was locked with a key which we can only imagine was their supply closet. This room wasn’t in any pictures we had seen beforehand and definitely nobody would pay over 100€ the night for those conditions! I am surprised the girl that showed us to the room wasn’t embarrassed herself to be giving guests a room in these conditions. |In utter shock, after the initial few minutes we clearly stated that the room was unacceptable and there must have been some confusion to which she replied it was the only room not renovated but she could maybe show us another. To me, it seems strange that if there was another “decent” room available, why give us that in the first place? Again, in my eyes, it was pretty clear discriminatory situation and of course there was no way we were going to stay there. We cancelled and left straight away having to find somewhere else to stay that night, wasting our time and ruining our weekend. |We booked through booking.com and will be filing a complaint through them too. ||My advice - if you are a native Catalan speaker you will be well received, if you aren’t, don’t bother coming here.

After we have read the comments and watched the pictures we have to decide to spend our 17 days here. Personally I have a deeply email conversation with Carlos, that give me the last decision to choose this hotel more than other.|He and his team are simply lovely and well prepared to make our journey comfortable, giving us many tips (resturants, places to see ...) and making us feel like at home. |The hotel is amazing: we slept in the new area (first floor) with balcony. Everything is surrounded by nature and silence. We wanted relaxing and we have found what we needed. The swimming pool is also lovely and I used the garden around to training fitness and dancing also in the morning as well in the afternoon. |The breakfast is something that I will miss: simply but accurate with season fruits and fresh breads. (don't forget to try the tomatoes: they are from the garden and they have an incredible taste). |At the end, if you need a place where you can recharge your spirit and soil this is highly and strictly recommended. |Ps: Carlos y el equipo, muchas gracias por todos! We've just come back from Spain and this hotel was our home for 4 nights. It's exactly what you hope it is. Clean. New. Superb Staff. Tasty breakfast. Nice pool. Quiet at night. And despite how it might look, only about 5 minutes from the beach in a car. You do need a car here though. Couldn't recommend it enough, a great base for the area.
