Boutique Hôtel Casa Amor Olhão

After a wonderful stay last year for the first time in Casa Amor we had to come back, we love Olhão and have visited the town many times but this hotel makes every visit much more special. Breakfast is unparalleled, the hotel vibe is intimate but never too much. Thank you Walter, Jack and all the personnel, see you next year (if not earlier)!

We had a magnificant time at Casa Amor, everything exceded our expectations. Walter and Jaques have worked so hard on the empathetic, elegant renovation of this beautiful house, and the welcome we received from them and their team made us feel like family. The rooms are very comfortable with all the thoughtful details you could imagine during your stay. Luxurious linen and toiletries complement the room. We enjoyed using the sunny rooftop pool, and the lovingly restored sitting room/library. The extensive breakfasts were wonderful and varied with fresh baking from their on site cafe daily, and exquisite local ingredients. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Casa Amor and would love to return one day. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable and for looking after us so well. We hope to see you again soon. ❤️

Stunning boutique hotel with amazing hosts, Jack and Walter, who make us so welcome in their home. Always available to advise of things to do and places to eat or visit. Beautiful breakfasts with such a range of fruits , hams and cheeses and freshly baked breads and cakes. It was nice to be able to relax in their lounge at any time of the day, with not only a selection of games but freshly made biscuits. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you needed for your stay, with thoughtful additions like a beach bag with towels and sun umbrella for your pool or beach visit. The roof top sun terrace with heated pool had great views and a lovely area to escape to, to relax and chill. One of our most relaxing and enjoyable holidays.

We had a fantastic stay. The welcome and information were excellent. The room was extremely clean, spacious, and functional. Everything had been thought of. The minibar, espresso and tea making facilities, and water were always available.||The hotel's location is also superb. From there, you can reach almost everything in Olhão on foot.||The breakfast was simply amazing—absolutely delicious, varied, and delicious.||We would gladly return anytime! Thank you to the staff!

This was our third stay at Casa Amor, and each visit has been just as magical as the last. It is, without doubt, becoming one of our most special places. We have been coming to Olhao since 2008, drawn by its beauty, authenticity, and charm. It is a true Portuguese fishing town, rich with character, incredible food, and the warmest people, and now we have somewhere truly wonderful to stay. Jacques and Walter have created - and so thoughtfully curated - a truly exceptional boutique hotel. Every corner is filled with beautiful details and thoughtful touches. Breakfast is sublime, and the rooftop terrace remains one of my favourite places in the world - a quiet, sun drenched sanctuary. We have resisted telling too many people about Olhao over the years, not wanting it to be discovered by the wrong kind of selfie stick wielding tourist!!! The same now applies to Casa Amor, it is becoming harder and harder to book a room, and I completely understand why. We have already booked our next stay in a few months, and are already counting down the days!

What a wonderful place. An oasis of charm in Olhao. The highlight was the amazing breakfast. So delicious, all local, freshly made and thoughtful. The rooftop and pool are really beautiful and relaxing. Rooms, lovely, bathrooms- perfect. The little things like beach bag, hammam towels, port in the lounge, those and the impeccable service make it a very special place indeed.

We had a really enjoyable 3-day trip to Olhão which was topped off by our stay at the wonderful Casa Amor. Such a great location to explore the area (including a boat trip to Culatro and a road trip to Tavira). The hotel was the perfect place to return to after exploring and soak up on the sunshine. We stayed in room 10 on the top floor which was beautifully decorated with a huge bathroom and the most amazing terrace for relaxing and great views. The owners and staff were oh-so welcoming and friendly - and the breakfasts were the absolute best ever. A 100% recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Amor! The building is beautiful, the rooftop terrace is lovely, and our room was perfect. The team was incredibly kind and welcoming.
